I love detail of his parents giving him emergency money, it's so nice that they would be so supportive of their son's dreams of making it in New Fursey. And the detail of all his possessions being strapped to the top of his car really helps sell his underdog appeal. I also love how *close* the MC gets to being crushed by his future boyfriend. If it weren't for how bad the traffic was, he'd likely be squashed!
