Progress Report - week 31 - 2025

Hey there,

Let me answer the most important question first, where is the update? 

I didn’t have any opportunity to go to my in-law's workplace and use their internet for a few hours. Fortunately for them, they have a lot of work and new work keeps flowing in, so there just wasn’t any window for me. I really do hope at the end of this week (confirmed that not tomorrow for sure) they will find some free time.

Regarding my internet, I got an information from fiber infrastructure installation company that on 1st of August they will send out our (mine and my neighbors) information and readiness for being connected to Internet Service Providers. Then we (I’ve talked with one other neighbor who also needs fiber asap) will be calling the ISP on the 4th of August (after the weekend) to see how fast they can process that and connect us.

In the meantime the development of the game continues. Events incoming are Aria as future maid and Kawa getting finally to meet Sergil face to face (without helmet) and agree for work in cafe, Rai and Cynthia getting the harem treatment, the new client (gyaru and her boys from last update) getting a lot of cgs for her skill usages and hopefully Emilia GB as it’s 95% complete. 

Outside of that I’ve spent a lot of time and it’s currently the biggest next thing I’m working on: obviously, two extra maids available for gameplay. Adding code behind them, preparing cgs, preparing their screens etc. I plan to release it in August, after this next update.

I’m sure you also are aware of the recent siege of adult games (not only nsfw). From what I know on itch io we are still shadow-banned, but Secret Care Cafe complies with each of the sites’ and card companies regulations, so SCC and my next game should be safe to distribute and not get restricted. That doesn’t mean I agree with these policies and I will actively show my support for adult games (both nsfw and sfw) as I treat it as a form of art, just like movies, books, theater plays, comics, paintings, drawings, clay models and comedy; they all should be presented in any form that the author sees fit. Even if it’s work is not good in our eyes, some other people find meaning and solace in subjects that are wild to others. As I mentioned on Discord when the whole thing started, some art is there to comfort us, some art is there to shock us, but all of them should be able to express themselves in any way. Please also do what you can to support the remaining bastion of adult games and show your support for them. We can talk about it on Discord more. 

Getting back on topic of SCC, tldr; hoping for the update to come up at the end of this week. 

I’m sorry for this delay and thank you so much for understanding my current circumstances. The moment I’ll get my internet back, not only we’ll get back to normal updates, but also do streams on which we will animate the seggs scenes you’ll want to get animated. And I'm sorry for silence on official ways of communication from me, there were just no good news to share outside of uncertainty. Hopefully all will end in a good (cum) eruption.
