As we can clearly see, I'm very good at predicting when an update will be ready!

EDIT [03.02.2025] fixed bug preventing second boss from spawning

In my defense, if it wasn't for the sudden surge of an idea HOW to implement one major thing, the update would be ready when I said it would be, so you only can blame Alex!

From basic additions, 3 new events! Main event, Rai's chat nsfw event and jocks nsfw benefit event with Cynthia!

The most important and the hardest addition though is the new event reading system. Basically now in game files you can find 2 new folders, Events and Sprites. Now we have simple txt files that have all the text from the event. Thanks to that, not only the typo fixing will be easy, but also translations!
The idea came to me after I've contacted the GameMaker Studio 2 engine developers. In a very short version, the game 'outgrew' the engine we are on, as they never planned for a game big like SCC to be on their engine. But maybe thanks to that, I just found a solution to deal with it. The only issue I found with this system is that it's very hard to store animations like this, so they will still be stored in Texture files. Most of the event cgs will be moved to the Sprites folder, which will help with how much vram is used by PC, loading only necessary pictures and not entire texture pages like it was done right now.

The system needed a lot of debuging, but the 3 new events are already implemented that way. If this will be a working system for everyone after this initial testing, I'll implement it to other events way faster. We just have to make sure all the work isn't for nothing, so please, give me your feedback and report any bugs you'll find!

Again, sorry for the delay, but as you can hopefully understand, it was, one - needed and two - time consuming to make right.

Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.47: 

- added 3 new events, main event, Rai's chat nsfw event with Cynthia and Jock's and Cynthia benefit event

- added a lot of new code behind how new events will be added (and old ones to be changed), now folder with the game has folders with events txt files and sprites files. You can easily view them and it will be the easiest way to get translations done. fix typos and even event code in the interactions in game.

- changed the Upgrade Menu unlock description to be more clear when does it unlock (and changed from sprite to text)

- fixed error with not spawning second boss (wrong event order)

- fixed wrong first event showing in Cookie's side story gallery

- corrected a bunch of typos

Download instructions:

• For those using the segmented downloads, you need to download all files ending with Patreon.7z. In this case, part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4. Extract all files in one folder then you can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• Other external links (Google Drive, Mega, etc) have the game  in one package file. Use any Zip program (7zip or WinRAR) to extract the files then you  can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• If you have the previous version, you can download JUST the update file. Just extract or copy-paste the files of the update   into the game folder with the previous version. Remember to click "yes" when asked to replace files with the same name. Also, please double check your game's version number and update version file. Otherwise, you will have visual bugs and will have to redownload the game completely.

• If you are having graphical issues or some scenes don't load, download the full version of the game and not the update alone.
