Hey there!
This update will be a Patron only update and won't be released to Public, as it is not yet fully ready. I've called it PRE 0.8.42. The real 0.8.42 will be ready on this Tuesday or Wednesday. As a surprise to nobody, I planned too much for a singular update! Just wait till my wife will read this post and I'll hear "I told you so!".
I don't want to hold the update hostage and make you think nothing is happening around SCC, that's why I'm releasing this update. That way you can play around and see if the changes and optimization did something for you and I won't get stressed that I didn't update you on anything! I've 'commented' (disabled) unfinished code so it shouldn’t create any problems.
But below release notes you can now read what I'm working on.
This is NOT a new norm. This build is being released just because I didn't make everything in time as many things here were coding challenges.
I'm sorry for all the wait and for over promises. I just want to update you with as much as I can so you can enjoy it fully! And apparently sometimes it's way too much for me, especially if I'm doing 5 things at the same time.
Where is file with just Update from 0.8.41 to 0.8.42? Because of the release notes below neither this version or the next version will have only update files, as many things changed so it is impossible for me to create these files without you having visual issues very quickly. That's why for this and the next update you'll have to download the whole game. Sorry for the issue.
Where is Mac version? Full Mac version of 0.8.42 will be available at the same time as full 0.8.42 this Tuesday/Wednesday.

Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.42:
- rewrote clients code:
* unified code behind ordering, appearing and positioning
* changed and fixed positions of bubbles and time bars above clients heads
* now all clients are highlighted when you mouse over them helping player to know when they hit their hit-box
* thanks to that I could delete some old mirrored sprites bloating the game
* increases some gain values from clients
* fixed a bug that made clients try to constantly order something even if waiting for delivery
- changed the way clients leave the cafe, removing jittering, extra objects and weird visual inconsistency while leaving
- now title screen checks all saves for Ame to put her there and not only autosave
- decreased the number of times the seed was randomizing (sometimes a couple times per client entering or receiving order)
- some events were unified into a single object (basically optimization)
- fixed old code that prevented skipping with control or back up with mouse wheel in first event
- fixed name color in Synth-Ia perk
- fixed couple of client animations going through wall
- a lot of smaller optimizations during main gameplay and during events
- fixed a bunch of typos (thank you everyone for reporting them!)
Known Issues:
- some gallery events might crash the game, will be fixed in next update (I'll test them all before release)
- some clients on 3rd and 4th bench might clip above maids (please report which client if you will find it)
Currently in work, not finished, but had it on list for today:
- 2 nsfw events Sergil creating harem from Cookie and Cynthia, Cookie and Sergil on the beach (either CookiexSergil or mmf threesome by player choice)
- you can choose character in end of day menu that talks to you (instead of always seeing static sergil), and based on your relationship and if Sergil POV or client POV they say couple different things
- tips regarding basics function of the game during loading screens
- by adding two points above I'll be yeeting away phone mechanic (after all its just a feature bload that doesnt add much and would need be planned from the start)
- unified gallery objects (reducing amount of gallery objects for game optimization and reduce crashes)
- adding events into single object - continuation (optimization and reduce crashes)
Download instructions:
For those using the segmented downloads, you need to download all files ending with Patreon.7z. In this case, part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4. Extract all files in one folder then you can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.
Other external links (Google Drive, Mega, etc) have the game in one package file. Use any Zip program (7zip or WinRAR) to extract the files then you can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.
If you have the previous version, you can download JUST the update file. Just extract or copy-paste the files of the update into the game folder with the previous version. Remember to click "yes" when asked to replace files with the same name. Also, please double check your game's version number and update version file. Otherwise, you will have visual bugs and will have to redownload the game completely.
If you are having graphical issues or some scenes don't load, download the full version of the game and not the update alone.
