Secret Care Cafe 0.8.41 - release notes and download

Hey there!

Today I bring you 2 events full of new cgs and nsfw, Rai x Sergil with important choice like it was with Cookie and Ame x Sport Guys. As mentioned before, Ame x Sport Guys is late game event, that will have it's requirements adjusted later in development, you also will find few spoilers there.

Cookie beach event is delayed, because I decided I want to make it a choice event after all. I find it better suiting but also will require more cgs than planned.

I started first batch of objects optimization in engine. In short, I've hit the limit of those and need to combine events together so GMS2 (engine Im using) will work with me again and not agaist me (I'm still waiting for that August patch that was going to fix the engine lately major problems).

If you want to know why this update took me so much time you can more information about it in the previous Progress Report post. Sorry for the wait!

Only Update from 0.8.40 to 0.8.41 files might be not fully correct, as there are a lot of changes to textures I'm making together with reducing the amount of objects, so do prepare for this possibility.

Secret Care Cafe release notes ver 0.8.41:

- added 2 events nsfw (Rai x Sergil and Ame x Sport Fans)

- fixed gray screen in Ame x Cynthia x Sergil date at one point

- fixed bug that didn't load any random events and was stuck on black screen if you haven't seen random events for a long time

- fixed bug that tried to load non-existing texture pages

- optimized some events to run through single event-object instead of separate objects (basically coding around GMS2 limitations) (part 1)

- reduced number of object in the game so it should load and start a bit smoother (part 1)

- some other optimization

- fixed few spelling mistakes

Download instructions:

• For those using the segmented downloads, you need to download all files ending with Patreon.7z. In this case, part 1, part 2, part 3 and part 4. Extract all files in one folder then you can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• Other external links (Google Drive, Mega, etc) have the game  in one package file. Use any Zip program (7zip or WinRAR) to extract the files then you  can play the game by double-clicking the .exe file.

• If you have the previous version, you can download JUST the update file. Just extract or copy-paste the files of the update   into the game folder with the previous version. Remember to click "yes" when asked to replace files with the same name. Also, please double check your game's version number and update version file. Otherwise, you will have visual bugs and will have to redownload the game completely.

• If you are having graphical issues or some scenes don't load, download the full version of the game and not the update alone.
