I agree with Walt, Maree and Hank on this one 1000%. If my choice is three awful years left or one good one, I'm taking the one good one every single time. That's not seflishness. Wanting your famillies memory of you to not be one of you spending three miserable years of suffering, being artificially kept alive and needing 24/7 nursing. Instead remembering you how you want to be remembered.
