Episode 4 - Progress Report #3

Hey everyone 😊

I pretty much finished writing for Ep. 4! I revisited the first draft and I reworked some things in the final scene, but other than that I'm happy with it. As usual I'll continue to tweak and fix smaller things until the day of release, but I think there's no more bigger rewrites gonna happen. The only thing left there is a minor scene, where I'm waiting on some poll results 😉.

I also have an estimate for render counts now and well... Let's just say my plan to make this episode a bit smaller again didn't really work out 😅. But at least I kept it about the same size as Episode 3. So here's the stats:

📆 Estimated release date: April/May

Other than writing I spent the week reworking the tier benefits (see yesterday's post), planning the coming pin-ups, and preparing the release on itch.io (everything's ready there, just waiting on some things from their support). 

This also means I can now focus on making renders again 🥳. There's not a lot of new characters or complicated environments in this episode, so I won't be spending too much time with that either.

Fiona as a clear winner is interesting, but not entirely unexpected after that slumber party incident. I'm curious to see how the favorites change over the course of the game 😋. The honorable mentions for the "Others" votes were: Kimmy, Isabella, Cleo and Moira. And just to reiterate: This poll was just for fun and to gauge who players are interested in so far. The results won't have an impact on how the story progresses.
