QB Works Discord thoughts
Added 2024-06-03 18:41:33 +0000 UTCHi all! Here's some food for thought regarding a discord of mine. But I'd love to hear your opinions on the matter!
I've been back and forth for months about making a QB Works discord. I know we're in an era where everyone and their mailman have servers so I'm currently on the fence about it. I know a lot of 3D modelers have their own discord for people to chat / share / see upcoming projects so I'm wondering if any of you have input regarding some good OR bad things about it (or if you'd be interested in one).
And at the same time, I'm not too active in any servers at the moment and mostly just use Patreon to post wips / get opinions / polls, so I don't know if the extra channel is necessary / tedious.
On the other hand, it would provide more of a two-way street for you all to be able to reach me more easily / casually instead of me just standing on a platform showing you pics of titties.
All that to say, I'm interested in your opinions / experiences and would love to hear what you got!

You can enter a chat room and talk with the creator, if you are comfortable with sharing screen people can see the process of creating the models and you can get direct feedback and enjoy how an idea becames real. You can do that on twitch too but maybe discord is more private. For the rest, i am in various discord servers and i literally have 0 interaction apart from when they pin everybody to let them know "hey this month the miniatures are this" wich is the same as patreon sends so its like more of a spam server to people who already follow the creator on patreon. The creator is there to send messages but its not there to interact so, in the end, its just boring.

2024-06-03 19:33:29 +0000 UTCI feel like if responding to people gets to be too hard to do or you have too many responses then a discord can be nice to keep things clean. I personally like your posts here and don't really want another discord but do what you think is best for you. P.S. fox girl is nice ๐

2024-06-03 19:31:52 +0000 UTCI'm always on the fence about discord servers. I like 2 way communication too, but feel like we can get it here on Patreon. I'm beyond saturation on discord servers I'm a member of and need something that lets me know when the creator (you, in this instance) is saying something vs. one of my fan counterparts. Also, hurray fox lady!
