101creative has been delving deep into the world of Citroens, and their latest addition, the Citroen C4 from them, is a testament to the brand's unique approach to car design. Citroen interiors have always been known for their quirks, and the C4 is no exception. At first glance, the steering wheel appears rather unusual, with only the rim turning while the center remains stationary. It might give the impression that the steering wheel isn't animated, but upon closer inspection, you'll notice the subtle rotation of the steering wheel rim.

One standout feature of the Citroen C4 is its expansive windshield, which offers excellent rear visibility. This is particularly appreciated when driving with VR, as it provides an immersive and unobstructed view of the road.

In our discussions with 101creative about the unique characteristics of Citroen cars, we couldn't help but think about the classic 1970s Citroen DS. This iconic vehicle has always intrigued us, especially with its interconnected hydraulic suspension system. While we were aware that the Assetto Corsa engine might not fully replicate the DS's hydraulic suspension, we decided to put our knowledge and expertise to the test.

The result exceeded our expectations. We successfully simulated the body control that the hydraulic suspension of the DS provides, allowing the car to maintain its characteristic soft and comfortable ride. We paired this with period-correct vintage 1970s tires, creating a driving experience that truly embodies the essence of the DS.

2. Suzuka CircuitOur introduction to Suzuka came via the Sega F355 Challenge arcade game. This game, a pioneer in modern driving simulation, allowed us to virtually navigate real-world tracks. Suzuka was the first such track we encountered, and it left an indelible mark. Its unique layout and history make it a perennial favorite.
3. Zhuhai International CircuitZhuhai holds a special place in our hearts as the first real racetrack we ever drove on. This experience alone ensures that we return to Zhuhai more often than most. Its F1-class design also makes it a perfect benchmark for testing the performance of supercars, adding to its appeal.
4. Mount HarunaMade famous by the hit manga "Initial D," Mount Haruna is a touge (mountain pass) that holds immense significance for us. Our first encounter with this winding road was through the arcade racing game "Battle Gear 2," which predated the official Sega Initial D arcade games. The game allowed us to experience the very course featured in the manga, immersing us in Takumi's world. According to the manga, Takumi honed his skills by daily runs on this pass for five years. We have easily matched that record, we've certainly driven it countless times in an array of different cars.
5. Sonoma RacewayFormerly known as Sears Point or Infineon Raceway, this California track made its digital debut in Gran Turismo 4. Sonoma Raceway's undulating terrain and sprawling layout deliver an abundance of excitement. Moreover, it exudes a fantastic track day atmosphere that elevates the driving experience. Whenever we're looking for a track to enjoy our cars to the fullest, Sonoma Raceway consistently tops the list.

These locations have become more than just tracks to us; they are waypoints in our automotive journey, each with its unique story and significance. They continue to fuel our passion for driving and exploration.

Just a day after unveiling the C6 Corvette Z06, we're back with a powerhouse that's ready to take the spotlight. The 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo, part of the revered 997 generation, has rolled into our simulation from the master Jerry Wei, and it's here to impress.

At first glance, the 997 Turbo might seem ordinary on paper, especially in today's high-performance landscape. However, as our team took it for a spin once again, the true essence of the 997 Turbo's greatness became evident. About 15 years ago, when these models first hit the roads, they were hailed as the epitome of excellence and some of the fastest machines available. This car is like a road version of the GT3 racing car, but it's even rarer. It's a sportier version of the Bentley Continental, and it's called the GT3-R. Despite weighing over 2100 kilograms, it's a bit lighter than the other Continentals. What makes it stand out is that it's got a V8 engine instead of the W12, a smaller size engine physically yet packs the same amount of power. Sure, it's not as crazy fast as some other supercars like the 458 Speciale or the 911 GT3 RS, but that's not the point. This car is all about being unique and special.

Its design has an enduring quality that remains strikingly contemporary.

Our approach to this project has been equally comprehensive. We diligently compiled specifications and data provided by Mitsubishi to meticulously craft the physics for the Mitsubishi FTO. As we delve into this masterpiece, it's evident that the FTO was truly ahead of its time in the sport compact coupe segment. Despite the years that have passed, revisiting this car within the confines of our simulator evokes the same thrill and excitement that it did during its heyday.

We recently received feedback on some issues with the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, prompting our team to thoroughly inspect and address any errors. Rest assured, we have corrected these issues with accurate data, ensuring an optimized driving experience for this powerful American muscle car. The ZL1 is truly a force to be reckoned with, capable of rivaling the Challenger Hellcat as one of the ultimate high-horsepower beasts.

One remarkable feature of the ZL1 is its front tires, boasting an impressive width of 305, comparable to the rear tires of many supercars! Such a wide stance provides enhanced grip and stability, unleashing the full potential of its supercharged V8 engine.

Interestingly, our preference leans towards driving the automatic version of this beast, rather than the 6-speed manual. The 10-speed automatic transmission offers closer gear ratios that perfectly complement the powerband of the supercharged V8. The smoother downshifting and smaller difference in gearing ensure a more stable and confident driving experience, especially on the track where ideal gears are crucial.

In the process of developing this gem, we've developed a newfound love for driving small economy hatchbacks. Don't let their modest speed fool you; their lightweight and thin tires make them remarkably nimble and agile. It's an absolute blast to maneuver these little cars, and they serve as fantastic beginner cars for learning the art of driving.
