The weekend passed in a haze of work for my day job. Long days and late nights. I'm chugging through on five hours sleep a night. Thankfully I've gotten everything finished.

Hello cutie!
I'm feeling much better compared to a few days ago. It's taken close to a week to feel okay again. I pretty much spent my weekend on lots of medication and dozing to the BBC adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. 🤣
Still a little bit hoarse but I'm planning on recording tomorrow and catching up with my usual audio schedule.
I do have a few surprises in store. I'm letting them cook in my mind a little bit more.

Headcold wins!
I've had a sniffle for the last few days, waking up this morning was absolutely diabolical.
it's not even the bonus kind where my voice is a little extra husky.
Instead, it's type of cold you need to have with chicken soup and crackers.
Am I hot or cold? My body can't decide.
How about breathing? My nose is stuffed and running at the same time. Time to keep my gaping maw open to suck in air like a whale's blowhole.
Hungry? Nope. Everything is like chewing cardboard.
I'm armed with a forest of balsam tissues, a spritzy nose spray, honey lozenges and menthol chest rub. I'm resting as much as possible this weekend to avoid getting a dreaded *chest infection*. ✨
Of course, this is cutting into my recording time. I have a few things written but there's no way I can record anything I'd be happy with in the current state I'm in.
I'm hoping the worst of this will have passed in the next few days. I'll pick back up to recording my mantras and next longer audio.

I've been resting as much as possible over the last few days.
Especially with some video game time, reading, sleep and snacks.
Looking back and counting up everything I've released over the last twelve months almost melts my mind thinking about the quantity.
This year I've leaned more into making audios with closed loops. Scripting, recording and editing audios with that level of complexity takes deft and enormous energy on my part.

Mind-blowing.
My current audio count on Patreon must be between the 225 to 300 audio mark.
I've already got a couple of fun ideas bubbling in my mind for January.
My personal hope and intention for 2024 is that my Patreon grows to the level where I reduce my hours with my current day job.
My audio process between writing, recording, editing and scheduling audios and rendering videos can take up to 20 or more hours a week.
All juggled around everything else. Evenings and weekends are easily sucked into a vortex of a blinking cursor or my audio editing suite.
I'm involved in a project with other amazing hypnotists, but more about that in 2024.
I always need more tea and snacks.
