Our final batch of ref sheets, for Mimicry, Partridge, and Jinx! Partridge is perhaps the most relevant character here, but she doesn't fit into any of the previous categories, so here she remains. It's hard to come up with outfits for her since she's meant to be so sophisticated! (Also a little avant-garde.)

Terry Jinx will pop up more as the story continues. He really, really sucks, but I like him a lot too! I hope you all will enjoy seeing the depths of his shittiness as we go on.

It's the terrible, tyrannical, twisted trio! I love these guys, they suck. Loved designing them too! They went though a variety of changes before debuting.

In fact, here's a ref I drew back in Arc 2! I couldn't post it because they were still spoilers.

 Yuma has long hair here, and she had long hair for quite a while before I decided to change it! Now, I've decided that her hair was long in the past and will be continue to be shorter in the present.

NYSM's turn! I don't actually have a lot to say on these three refs... It's nice when this group is in the comic, though! I enjoy them a lot, and I want to write more interactions between them!

Oh, one thing of note! I drew Amily with earrings, but I think she'd take them out to fight. Salvo, on the other hand, keeps his piercings in all the time. Reckless guy!

TDL Arc 3 Reference Sheets (FHTC)

The Defectors are working with Miriam Bosser right now, so I'd say they count as FHTC. Some notable bits to point out for these four are Ambre-minus-Talent (her freckles!) and Sarah's new mini-sized suppressor gun (and baton!).

I really like Bosser's suit here; it's a shame we haven't seen her as much as the others. I'll have to draw another cool one for next time! And again, there will be some hairstyle changes in this group too!

We're nearing the end of Arc 3, so there's nothing left in my current ref sheets that you haven't seen in the comic proper. That means it's time to post them!

I knew the characters would be in the confrontation outfits for the longest stretch of time, so I decided to pick them for the refs! I went for clothes that looked cool while still being theoretically possible to fight in, haha. Abby and Cameron are in skirts, but they have tights/legging shorts on as well! All set!

(Ben is wearing roller skates because I think he's just that good.)

I'm excited to start drawing new ones for Arc 4! There are going to be some hairstyle changes, which is very fun for me.

Now that we've seen Cameron's big save, I can post the rest of the pink concept comic!

Once again, things ended up changing in the actual TDL pages–namely, I wanted more tension. I decided to wrap up the Sambre fight before Ambre went and threatened Coda, so that none of you were left hanging on how their relationship stands now. Also added the panicking of literally everyone else in the area for a better sense of just how high the stakes are!
