Here are a few examples of what I used to do in color on paper (coloured inks, gouache, watercolor pencils...)

Although I am an acceptable illustrator, I am a very average painter, which explains why I consider myself above all an illustrator and comic book artist rather than an artist in the academic sense of the term...

But I am quite satisfied with some of the works presented here.

There's some pieces here that, I believe, have never been exhibited on the web before. And a little 😉 to Jay Kan for whom I made a commission recently very reminiscent of one of the illustration shown here...

Here's another part of the private collection of some of my work from the Project X period (between 1997 and 2001).

This collection is all the more unique in that it consists of originals on paper (an activity I engage in only on the rarest of occasions, nowadays). Here you'll find drawings made for a special Bear section of an issue of Projet X, as well as personal drawings.

I'm pleased to present part of a private collection of an enlightened Collector and Patron during my pre-Porky period. That is, between 1997 and 2001, when I was drawing regularly for Projet X, the European magazine of hard and fetish sexuality.

Some of the drawings will be familiar to some of you who have been following me for a long time, but I have, after contacting this collector, copies of better quality than those I had in my possession. Other works are completely new (and even I was amazed to find drawings I'd forgotten about)... Be aware that those are not scans but photos.

This is a private collection, courtesy of its owner!

I'm digitally processing the drawings as I go along, so they'll be posted in groups.

First article devoted to a collection of works in Indian black and red ink.

Part of it is gathered under the name Kœnig One... an aborted project from which these drawings remain. The rest revolves around uniforms and sexual coercion. Remember, it's only fantasy.

I didn't plan to make such a detailed background, but hey! It takes place at the Louvre after all so I had to do justice to the majesty of the place... I also add some title to do a comic book mock-up cover.

Ercole e Felix Cochonou - W.I.P. - HD

A little something before I go to bed and let the storm blow us away, here in Normandy...

It's an old sketch after Hercules Farnese by Glycon d'Athènes, which I had no idea what to do with... And then I had this idea (also very old) to associate it with a night watchman at the Louvre: Felix Cochonou.

It's just an excuse to recycle an old drawing, so don't get the idea that I've started another comic book project (even though the idea would be excellent, so much so that it's already been used... A night at the museum among others...)

I attached the link to the Google image page of Glycon d'Athènes' statue because its his Hercules is so powerful, handsome and sexy!

Today, I wasn't in the mood for story-boarding (too much parasite thoughts in my head) so I decided to ink that sketch I made about those two cute fellas ( I know you love them as well)... Not sure that I will be able to color that right now but be sure that as soon as it's done, I'll post it right here, for you!

Just a little update...

...To assure you that I'm still here, actively working so that you can read the next episode of The 3 Stooges in the Edo era. I'm just finishing writing the dialogues for the French version (only two pages to go)! Then I'll get right to work on the English version.

Daily obligations are holding me back a little, but I'm making good progress!

And as you can see, I'm still a talkative dialogue writer!

3 Stooges in the Edo Era - 忍者 - P20 - inking

Here's the final page, inked and in HD. I just started to "paint" the grey watercolors on those last pages, then I'll have to write my dialogues, because, yes I work with the "Marvel" method and even if I have a clear idea of the dialogues, sometimes I let the rhythm of the panels influence me. And the more I lean towards humor, the more interesting the results may be.

I already have some ideas for cover art, but that's for later.

As Matou06 so rightly said in a Bluesky post here, what should have been a mercyless confrontation turns out to be a fuckfest. But that"s what you all expected in the first place... Am I right? So, here's the page 18 inked. Hope you like it!

I'm really delighted to get back at my sequential work again. Mainly because I have a LOT yet to achieve... But with that aventure of the 3 Stooges (Can you actually believe that I didn't gave them a name yet?!) I'm pretty close to the end. So here's the final line art before I work on the digital watercolors (in this case lavish grays).

Portait under the Pornomicon spell

Here a last commission, before I get back to my sequential pages (for some times)... Bill, my commissioner wanted a portait of him under the influence of the unholy Pornomicon (to my personal delight). After a quickly approved sketch, I inked and colored the portait (the yellow one), then do a few adjustments under his supervision to achieve the final portrait with more green and less saturation. . Another commission...

Porky à la Grecque! An excellent commission I exceptionally made on paper with real brush and ink. Here's the sketch, the inked illustration and a digital colored variant to fit the Greek Pottery look. It was a lot of fun!

A new commission - WIP

I'm working for the last 3 commissioners of the session. This commission is a fun one, Bill sens a bunch of great pictures to help me create a Pornomicon-version of him. I called the working file Cthulhu Bill! 🐙🧔

To tell you the truth, I was struck by his resemblance to Mike Mignola... But with a longer beard.

I know you will like the sketch I came up with...

The professor and St Sebastian - a commission

Here's another great commission I just finished. Thanks to the commissioner Leonard!

Meanwhile, a few adjustments have been made, notably to the face of St Sebastian.

Now the piece is finished. I spend some times on the colors because the lineart is reduced to minimal. I'm pretty satisfied with how it turns out.

As always, commissions are shown in standard resolution, HD being the exclusive property of the commissioner.

Third sketch for a commission - WIP

Here's a third sketch of a recent commission. My aim is to work on this group of commissions at the same time, step by step. As I write this article, I've started inking.

This one is for Sean Scriber and the character belongs to another fellow artist (with his agreement). However, he (the character) lacks what makes him so special... I'll tell you who it is as I put the finishing touches to this commission... Wait and see!

2 Illustrations - HD

A new commission in the making...

Today is cleaning day, but before I get down to it, I wanted to show you this commission in progress. I'm keeping the commissioner's photos private, of course, but with his permission, here's the inspiration document (Paris Bordone (1500-1571) - Enthroned Madonna with Child and St. Fabian, Roch, Sebastian and Catherine of Alexandria — Part 4), the study sketch and the near-final sketch. O course since it's commissioned work you only have low-res, here.

Deimos and the Sucking Slugs (from hell....)

Hello Patrons, I'm back!

As you might know, I was traveling with my husband some weeks ago. By the way, I digitized all the doodles I made during this time and I still have to color them and show you the result here.

Meanwhile, I had some big (and awesome) work to do for the new Drummer issue, celebrating their 50 year. I can't show you anything here for the moment, but be sure to stay tuned! I can tell you it's about 2 illustrations, one bigger than the other. 🤐😉👍 But I'm super-thrilled and super-excited!

The other reason I seemed to disappear a little is because I'm back on commissions and I can't show you all of them, some commissioners prefer to keep their illustration private as you may know and I'm perfectly cool with that. But the consequence is that I work a lot but can't show you anything...

That's why I took some extra-time to finish a fan art illustration of my favorite purple demon, Patrick Fillion's Deimos. So here's the result and I wish it will help you wait for the next publication, which should be out soon!

I'll color this illustration when I have a moment, but priority is given to my recent contract with Drummer (Surprise! Big Surprise!) and to ongoing commissions (by the way, don't worry commissionaires, I haven't forgotten you and soon everyone will be hearing from me).
