The market’s moving with serious momentum right now.

After a sharp retracement, $PEPE is showing early signs of strength.

The price is currently sitting on a confluent support zone — anchored by a key Fibonacci level, the daily trend line, and a clearly defined support block that’s held through recent volatility.

What’s more interesting?

🔹 Volume is stabilizing

🔹 Downtrend resistance is softening

🔹 A breakout structure is forming right above

If $PEPE holds this zone, the path to 0.00001600 opens up — supported not just by optimism, but by structure.

This isn’t just meme season anymore. This is smart money watching low-cap liquidity structure shift.

The question now: will the breakout candle spark another 30% move?

Solana co-founder proposes meta chain to fix blockchain fragmentation

Solana Labs co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko proposed a new data availability (DA) solution to improve persistent fragmentation and lack of interoperability across blockchain networks.

In a May 12 post on X, Yakovenko proposed a “meta blockchain” to aggregate and order data posted across multiple layer-1 chains, including Ethereum, Celestia and Solana.

“This would actually allow the meta chain to use the cheapest currently available DA offer,” Yakovenko said.

Data availability layers are third-party solutions ensuring that blockchains have the necessary data to validate transactions.

Blockchain interoperability is one of the most pressing issues for Web3 developers, since today’s siloed layer-1 (L1) blockchain networks have no means of communicating or exchanging data, creating a need for crosschain interoperability solutions like DA layers.

Other leading blockchains are also focused on improving DA solutions. Ethereum’s upcoming Fusaka upgrade, expected in late 2025, will focus on scaling the Ethereum mainnet’s capacity as a DA layer by introducing EIP-7594.

Making data availability cheap makes “everything else cheap”

Creating cheaper DA solutions is essential to reduce the costs associated with blockchain-based transactions, Yakovenko said in a response to his initial post, adding:

“Making data availability cheap allows for making everything else cheap. Bandwidth is the irreducible bottleneck.”

He also suggested that a more advanced solution could eliminate external sequencers by using a rule-based system to merge transactions across chains, allowing users to send transactions “anywhere.”

Other prominent blockchain industry leaders have also called for more interoperability and collaborative tokenomics among the leading blockchains.

Speaking at Paris Blockchain Week 2025, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson emphasized the need for collaborative economics in the crypto industry to counter growing competition from traditional tech firms entering the blockchain space.

Saylor Predicts Bitcoin Price Surge

MicroStrategy’s Executive Chairman and long-time $BTC advocate Michael Saylor has once again sparked conversation in the crypto space — this time with a bold price prediction rooted in institutional adoption.

💬 “By the time your financial adviser says it’s OK to buy $BTC , it’ll cost $1 million. When they say it’s a good idea, it’ll be $10 million,” — Saylor wrote on X, underlining his belief that mainstream financial approval will arrive too late for average investors.

🧠 According to Saylor, Bitcoin isn’t just a digital asset — it’s a global monetary revolution. He argues that as more banks, institutions, and governments begin integrating Bitcoin into their financial systems, the demand will grow exponentially, pushing the price to extreme new highs.

🏦 For him, waiting for approval from traditional finance is a mistake. He believes that by the time Bitcoin is fully embraced by financial advisors and wealth managers, it may already be out of reach for most people.

📈 With MicroStrategy continuing to increase its BTC holdings, Saylor is putting his money where his mouth is — and urging others not to wait for permission to join the movement.

Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Accumulate as Short

Bitcoin has resurged past the $90,000 mark and has benefited long-term holders over short-term holders, but beneath the surface, there is more.

According to recent data by on-chain analytics firm CryptoQuant, a clear divergence is emerging between long-term and short-term Bitcoin holders.

Behind the Scenes: What Bitcoin Smart Holders Are Doing Right Now“If long-term participants continue increasing their positions, while short-term supply gets flushed out. This setup may serve as a constructive base for future price recovery.

While the long-term holders are quietly increasing their positions, the short-term holders, however, appear to be succumbing to fear and uncertainty, offloading assets in times of weakness.

According to the , the Net Position Change metric for Long-Term Holders (LTH), defined as those holding Bitcoin for more than 155 days, has turned positive for the first time since the last market peak.

This signals a notable shift in market sentiment among seasoned investors who are strategically re-entering the market.

Their steady accumulation marks a departure from the distribution behavior seen in previous months, a pattern often interpreted as cyclical repositioning rather than reactionary moves.

In contrast, Short-Term Holders (STH), those holding Bitcoin for less than 155 days, are continuing to capitulate. Their Net Position Change remains deep in negative territory.

Historically, such divergence between long- and short-term investor behavior has served as a precursor to broader market recoveries. Rising Futures Activity and Liquidity Point to Renewed Confidence

While on-chain data paints a picture of strategic accumulation, derivatives market behavior is also flashing bullish signals.

CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. a significant spike in futures market activity over the past three days, with traders opening Bitcoin positions totaling 57,000 BTC, valued at approximately $5.34 billion at the current price level.

Over the last three days, positions totaling 57,000 BTC were opened in the futures market, worth $5.345B at the current rate. This is the largest liquidity increase in the past year.

Introducing Kez and Crownfall Act IV

Today's update is as big as it gets. Not only are we releasing the fourth and final act of our multi-part Crownfall epic, we're celebrating with the debut of Kez, an all-new playable hero!

Hero of the Flightless
If you helped out Vengeful Spirit in Crownfall Act III, you already trekked your way through the icy tundras of Icewrack, found the Skywrath exile Kez, and convinced him to return home with you. In Act IV, he plans to reband the Kazurai and help you rid Skywrath of Imperia once and for all. And when he's not helping you commit regicide, he'll be all too happy to lend his blades to a little freelance work carving up some Ancients.

With the innate ability to swap weapon styles between his Kazurai Katana and Shodo Sai (unlocking more powers than there are days in the week), this martial master's kit comes with tons of options. Check out Kez's landing page to learn more about everything he can bring to the fight.

Crownfall Act IV: The Spires of Skywrath
Princess Shen was first in line for the throne of Skywrath when her father, King Tatrasiel, fell ill and died. But her younger sister Imperia betrayed her, cast her from the highest tower of the Nest and left her for dead. She was found by the Flightless goddess Scree'Auk, and given the powers of a Vengeful Spirit.

Today, the resurrected Shen returns to Skywrath to battle her sister for the fate of the throne. And she will not be alone. All the heroes who have helped her along the way, from Dragonus to Axe to Kez to Crystal Maiden and more, will battle their way through three separate paths up the spires of Skywrath to the Nest of Thorns, where Imperia awaits for a final battle.

Crownfall Act IV is the epic conclusion to a journey that's taken us from the humble markets of Midgate to the rolling red sands of Druud and the wastes of the frozen north, and finally to the Nest of Thorns, the courtroom of the queen herself, for an ultimate showdown. Act IV boasts a massive new overworld map with three distinct questing paths, sidequests, minigames, and finally, a chance to defeat Imperia and unlock new Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit Arcana alternate styles. So get ready for plenty of royal treasury looting along the way to the palace.

We've also got new Act IV-specific Pathfinder rewards, including custom Crownfall Scree'Auk and Avilliva towers and new Immortals. We've even added bonus content for Pathfinder pack owners for each act. You can now visit the Snake Charmer in Shen's questline in Act IV to claim your limited edition Crownfall character stickers.

Getting Caught Up
If you've been playing along through Crownfall as each act releases and want to jump right into the new Act IV content, don't forget to read the latest intro comic, "Crownfall", before you start. And if you wouldn't mind a quick refresher of what, precisely, the hell is going on, feel free to read up on Act I's intro, "Ascension Day", Act II's, "The Battle of Hell's Basin" and Act III's "The Dragon".

It's All Live!
Lastly, if you're just joining us now for the closing act of Crownfall... welcome! All of the previous acts are still available, and will remain so until Crownfall comes to a close January 15th, 2025, so there's still plenty of time to get started and a ton of content waiting for you.

That goes for the rest of you, too. If you've been puttering with the previous acts but waiting for everything to be available first, wait no longer. The entirety of Crownfall is now yours for the exploring. Work through all the maps, unravel the entire story, play all the games and unlock all the arcana styles.

...And, of course, spend all your coins and candy. For those of you sitting on any Crownfall Coins (or those of you planning to earn more playing through Act IV), remember to use them before the event ends on January 15th.

New map guide

Much like the galactic water miners in the movie and possibly the book Dune Part 2, Dota has always been the only game in any genre that believes water is the most valuable resource in both the Dune-iverse and our universe, the universe. It's kind of crazy, then, that it's taken more than a decade for us to finally prove that bold claim by saying it out loud in print.

And if that was all we did, it would be enough. But we didn't stop there. We've re-made the river that runs through the Dota map. Not only is it wider, its current can speed your movement. Conversely, the new river's new evolving, amphibious creeps can drastically slow your movement by killing you.

And that's not all: How about a new resource! "Waterstone?" you say. In retrospect, that would have made sense. But it's actually called "Madstone" and you can use it to craft your own unique neutral items. Which is crazy, so the name actually fits pretty well.

We've also made some other map updates, replaced wisdom runes with much cooler wisdom shrines, and made a bunch of quality of life changes. It's all too much to detail in one blog post, which means you'd be out of luck unless we made a page dedicated to describing all the stuff in great detail.

Hero guide-Pudge

Pudge, the Butcher, is a melee strength hero and the most popular hero in dota 2,  Pudge is easily one of the most fun heroes to play in the entire Dota 2, being famous by his his risky but potentially rewarding playstyle as well as his tankiness and disables which makes him a good ganker, teamfighter, frontliner and initiator.

Launches a bloody hook toward a unit or location. The hook will snag the first unit it encounters, dragging the unit back to  Pudge and dealing damage if it is an enemy.
Cast Animation: 0.3+0.59
Cast Range: 1300
Max Travel Distance: 1300
Hook Search Radius: 100
Damage: 150/220/290/360
Cooldown: 27/22/17/12 Mana: 125/130/135/140

This skill has an incredibly high amount of pure damage, although it's an unreliable skill since it's a Target point skill. You shoudn't necessarely rely on this skill to play  Pudge because you are not going to hit it everytime, you should treat this more as a possibility than a garanteed thing.

Also consider  Meat Hook for:

Saving allies(You can hook enemies or allies)
Dealing extra damage at short range
Chasing
Initiation - sometimes initiating with a hook and placing an enemy on a bad position will be the only way to win a fight, be calm and wait for the right moment, try unexpected positions, hooks from the fog, don't be afraid to bait your enemies into thinking you're not going for a hook when you actually are. EX: Walking sideways without looking to the place you're going to hook.
Ganking - although it it's an unreliable skill it is certainly good for ganking and can be made into an reliable skill if you have some sort of stun or disable, such as:  Rod of Atos,  Clumsy Net,  Scythe of Vyse or even a stun from your team.
Hooking runes -  Pudge can hook runes, this will help securing runes for your team or for you(if you are playing midlane).

Pro tip: you can cancel an enemyTown Portal ScrollwithMeat Hook, unless the target has aBlack King Baractivated, then you will need to get a perfect timingMeat Hookand as soon as hisTown Portal Scrollis ending, it will not cancel theTown Portal Scrollbut the targeted enemy will be brought to you as soon as hisTown Portal Scrollends, you can also do this to allies to bring items or reffil a bottle from fountain.

as core, Pretty much never, if you are going for a kill you can consider leveling it but it's still bad, you will be sitting with a 140 mana unreliable nuke wich can't go trough creeps, doesn't help your laning, if you do this mistake you will soon regret it.

as a support, i personally don't like it but it's doable, you can try hooking heroes from the fog, combining with your team's stuns or nuking from short range, consider this only if you have a very clear kill potential or if your team has a very good hook setup early on into the game, otherwise it's gonna be bad since you will have low armor, low regen and you will not be able to harass your enemies if you miss the hook.

When to skill  Meat Hook on LEVEL 2?

Since it's a high burst of pure damage early on into the game( 150 pure damage ) It pays up for being unreliable if you manage to hit it, if you have a good kill potential or a good setup for harassing with hook you can consider it, it's not bad as a level 1  Meat Hook since the lane will be in a slightly different position and at this point you will have a higher kill potential. I would think alot before skilling this level 2 tho, you need to make sure  Rot isn't a better choice.

When to skill  Meat Hook on levels 3 and 4?

Pretty much always you'll want to have this skill by level 3 or 4, combined with your  Rot harass and  Flesh Heap regen outsustaining your enemies, you can certainly open a window to punish your enemies by this point, it really depends on the matchup you're against, which we will talk about further into this guide.
Soo... Level 3 or 4 ? Depends wether you can actually kill with  Meat Hook at this levels or if would rather just harass more with  Rot and keep farming (Keep in mind you can still kill people without  Meat Hook and just with  Rot).

There will be situations where not leveling  Meat Hook at level 3 or 4 will be the best choice, those situations being: You have low kill potential on the enemy, then you would rather just slowly harass with  Rot. also use  Rot to help your last hitting, focusing on farming and sustaining with  Flesh Heap and  Tango.
