We told you in a past post that we would be trying out something different at the next monthly poll:

This time we're going to leave you, our patrons, to fully decide about the contents of the next picture, including the characters and situation.

This means you'll have a chance to send your proposals, here as a comment or on the special channel "poll-proposals" made for our patrons at discord.

This weekend we will gather all your proposals and we will make a poll for our patrons to vote! The winning idea will be brought to life as the August reward~

-Each patron can present no more than one proposal.

-The picture may include from one to three characters.

Shadre.net / Entry nº9 - Zastravingar

The insular territories of Zastravingar started to be colonised right after its discovery at the beginning of the age of the oceans. This new land was deemed ideal for developing manufacturing complexes and industries. This is because coveted natural resources and minerals were abundant and particularly easy to extract in the Zastravingaran regions. Thus, a rush for gold and many other precious metal drove many professionals to the new Terian and Esfirian territories overseas.

Eventually, as did those of Karkand, war came to the Zastravingaran territories. The land, claimed by multiple Terian and Esfirian factions, was submerged in an internal conflict, far more costly than the Karkandiak war.

The Zastravingaran people grew accustomed to these continuous wars and skirmishes over the control of the land. Eventually, peace came, but the war left in its wake a largely destroyed realm, deprived of most of its precious resources which had gone to the old continent.

Years passed, during which Zastravingaran resentment towards their oversea masters festered and grew. Many organisations, companies, and paramilitary groups, controlled by powerful and influential figures, started to unite the colonies under a single secret flag. In the meantime, the fear of losing the Zastravingaran colonies drove Terian leaders to build a union of countries. Though this would solidify their grasp, it was a tedious process that gave time to the Zastravingarans, who were building and training, in secrecy, the most advanced army of all time.

When it came, the Zastravingaran uprising swiftly took over the most important provinces, and soon cornered the unwelcome foreign armies against the Arkandic ocean. This movement served as an inspiration for other nations to face the allied powers of Teria, Esfiria, Ursikan, Albanir, and Karkand.

The war of the silence had begun, and this initial series of Zastravingaran victories would prove to be crucial in defeating the allied powers in the future.

The war of the silence lasted fifty-five years. It was a slow but deadly burn – a prolonged series of campaigns full of costly battles for all sides, but also the perfect inciting incident for the development of new technologies. In this time, Zastravingar found a new philosophy, and developed a new martial-based culture, determined to keep the flame of the rebellion ignited. This was their land, after all. And having lost it once, they were determined to never lose it again. It was time to decide their own destiny as a nation.

In the end, Zastravingar and its allies (Jardovia, Nosrisia, and Osteria) won the war after succesfully developing nuclear weapons. Unable to keep waging such a war, the allied nations surrendered and finally recognised Zastravingar as an independent sovereign country.

Zastravingar is considered the strongest nation in terms of raw military power in the current time. It has the biggest sea and land fleet, army and reserve pool in the world. It also has a mandatory military service, transforming its young and bright-eyed civilians into hardened soldiers, ready for war, but committed to keeping the peace. In the absence of such wars, Zastravingar is ready and willing to provide some of the best mercenaries and PMCs worldwide.

It is fortunate that Zastravingar benefits economically from its military, as besides its soldiers and arms, the country’s economy is stagnant. Its main exports consist of military hardware that, while reliable, are considered to be inferior to the high-tech goods manufactured by the Helian corporations. 

Zastravingar takes care of its citizens – after all, how can a starving and deprived country be ready to fight? Salaries range from medium to high, and the quality of life is good. Still, there is a large gap between the social classes. The largest groups consist of soldiers, workers, and other specialists, or top military personnel, governmental agents, and politicians.

The geography of Zastravingar is not considered particularly interesting. Its territory mainly consists of badlands, low density forests, mountains, and big deserts, and many of its lands were ravaged by its mineral boom. Its climate is hot all year round. It is not a favoured destination of most tourists, though numerous Jardovians and Osterians still visit to enjoy its many beaches and night clubs.

Zastravingarans are usually seen as evil, egocentric, and aggressive individuals, but also as ambitious, resourceful, and unbreakable people.

New VN Announcement - Silver Heaven

Hello everyone,

We're delighted to announce that our core VN project, Silver Heaven, is now in the works, with planning underway and initial concept and coding work commencing. Silver Heaven is an adult furry kinetic visual novel that takes place following the events of Echoes from Valeth, set in the nation of Helion, in the world of Shadre.

"Three colossal super-corporations hold dominion over Helion, the most technologically-advanced country in the world, its territories, its valuable resources, and its people. As insatiable greed, hunger for power, and a relentless drive to control and exploit a newfound meta resource consume the companies, the board is set for a cataclysmic clash. A corporate war is on the brink of eruption. But who will seize the opportunity with the first move?

Silver Heaven follows the story of a young grey wolf, Ian Davenport, who lives a monotonous life under these increasingly cloudy grey skies. When the storm arrives, the canine will be swept away to a new life of dark secrets, power struggles, and hidden agendas, where he will meet allies and enemies, and encounter passions and perils he never imagined. With the weight of a nation's destiny resting on his grey shoulders, Ian must navigate a web of strings pulled by corporations wielding more power than anyone ever knew. 

Will he rise above his humble beginnings to become a catalyst for change? The answers lie in the oncoming storm, where a young wolf's journey will determine the future of Helion and the world."

At the moment we are planning to release the first volume of the story, which will contain six chapters. The story is much bigger than this, however, the extent to which we can work on the story will ultimately depend of the level of support we manage to gather at Patreon. Your support on Patreon now and in the future is vital for bringing our ambitious project to fruition. We are passionate creators, but that passion can only get us so far when working on such a time-consuming project.

Shadre.net / Entry nº8 - Teria

In the actual time, the fact that the Shadreic species was originated in the regions of Teria is widely accepted amongst the best scientists. The Shadreics progressed, fought wars and built civilizations in that continent for millennia, unperturbed by any external actions.

The country of Teria, a union conformed by the oldest countries of Shadre (except for Esfiria) perfectly reflects its multi-ethnic and multi-cultural characteristics. Each of its provinces has different architecture, landscapes, climate, flavours...

After losing Karkand at the end of the age of the seas because of internal conflicts, the leaders of the old Terian countries started to realize they couldn't survive alone; the neighboring nation of Esfiria was united and strong, Ursikan was the strongest nation in that moment and Albanir was in the way of becoming a super power.

In the end, it was the fear of losing the Zastravingaran colonies what drove the Terian leaders to build a union of countries. It was a slow and huge social and political project, but a successful one in the end.

Shortly after the unification of Teria, Zastravingar declared war to his masters oversea. It was thought that the newly proclaimed rogue nation would be easily defeated by the owners of the Zastravingaran colonies; Esfiria and Teria. And its allies; Albanir, Ursikan and Karkand.

They were wrong.

The war of the silence lasted fifty-five years. It was a slow burn; a prolongued series of campaigns full of costly battles for all the sides, but also the perfect scenario to develop new technologies.

In the end, Zastravingar and its allies won the war and were recognized as independent countries. But this wasn't the end for Teria and its allies, all the opposite.

Zastravingar may be considered the strongest nation in terms of military power nowadays, but Teria isn't only one of the most powerful countries in Shadre. It is also a beacon of liberty, equality and hope. It is also the cradle of the Shadreic civilization and one of the most respected, if not the most respected and recognized nation in the world.

Teria is a country with a prosperous economy that grants equal social rights for his citizens. Salaries range from good to high, and the quality of life is high. Granted, there's still a big gap between social classes; one of the symptoms of the multinational origin of the country.

Finally, Teria is a stunning country, full of diversity of all types. It is one of the landmasses with bigger variety of biomes in the world, only surpassed by Karkand. It also has a warm interior sea, balanced seasons and an unending number of activities.

Terians are usually seen as pompous, egocentric and decadent individuals, but also as open-minded, smart and courageous people.
