Inktober 19 - Shin Getter 3

Done with this block of awesomeness. 

I think in the end this one is the one that looks more okay of the 3.

Inktober 18 - Shin Getter 2

Day 18 and I'm kind of alive... kind. of.
Anyway, pokey robit of the getter team. 

This is where it aaaall falls apart in my sleep schedule lol

I had some serious issues with this perspective... And I don't think it's perfect in any way. But hey, I made an effort~

Inktober 17 - Shin Getter 1

This was a fun one, I was looking forward to it, and I'm glad it worked somewhat. I like the fact that all three Getter machines look ridiculous and awesome hehe.

Inktober 16 - Scopedog

Had many options but ended up making the Red Shoulder one and attempted to make a contrast play... It just looks lazy.
Well that's about what it is tbh. 

Inktober 15 - Gundam Maxter

G Gundam must be one of the most fun series I ever seen... It comes with some ridiculous designs such as this one, Gundam Maxter from Neo America~ 

I do apologize for not posting these earlier, it's just not easy to post things every day in 6 different social medias.

Inktober 14 - Jagd Doga

The idea was to make only the Gyunei version, but I ended up making all of them...

Inktober 13 - Kampfer

Angry boi.

So... The idea was to make a perspective shot but... It didn't work. Aside that I tried to make it full of weapons for the giggles, but it turns out that's just how it normally is. Huh. Oh well.

Inktober 12 - Gerbera Tetra

The sweetest pink girl. I was gonna make her dressing a dress of sorts but since I streamed the linearting process I got shy about it.

I really really should come back to these robots and give them a new color work cuz I've been loving the results so far.

Tho in this one, this gurl so curvy that I couldnt pose her the way I wanted. Maybe next time~

Inktober 11 - Nemo

I really like the simplicity of this suit, it's still unique in its own way. I tried for a bit more dynamic pose, but ended up trimming the bits that looked off.

I was able to pseudo background it tho so I'm pretty happy with the result.

Inktober 10 - Barzam

 I tried sketching this in class and ended up drawing the Refined Barzam instead ; - ; But I managed to switch it back digitally. 

Actually gotta appreciate the simplicity of older suits, so I wanted to do the original version. Ended up making it roundier than it should be, but I'm quite pleased with it. 

Inktober 9 - Pallas Athena

 I should come back to these robits to give them a nice color work once Im done with Inktober... And probably make them patron only content :3c 

I didn't think I'd finish this one. Its design is rather complicated for what I'm used to... But I'm glad I did- and a full body too! I'm really happy with the result. 

... I swear I tried to trim the picture and only do a bit of this robit, but I couldn't... I had to do it whole... 

Inktober 8 - Chibi Qubeley

I actually wanted to draw a normal propotioned robit with a real sick action pose but... It didnt happen.

I feel this robot marks the end of the 'easy' robit designs on the list. Things are about to get serious...

Inktober 7 - Kapool

Aw yis.

This took a bit too long. The Kapool has a bunch of roundy bits, and those take some time to line. 

I was dared to draw the Kapool in a bikini (not really but I felt as if). I think it looks quite good in the end if you pretend the background looks okay lol

Inktober 6 - Acguy

Yay. I decided againt coloring the traditional doodle since it looks pretty okay like this and it'd look weird like Metabee if I did a digital coloring.

Acguy is really hard to pose... Cuz he's supposed to be intimidating but he's all round and bulky, making him cuter than he should be. Tho the dramatic shading helped make him look somewhat cool.

I'm not completely happy but I'm trying to build some confidence in my traditional ink lines. And this one and the first inktober day have been helping out. 

Inktober 5 - Cain

This guy... Oh God.

His head was troublesome, a thing I expected since friend suggested him to the list. But uh, I guess this works. ... way better than my first attempt. The cartoonish style looks way better than the realistic-ish one I had at first.

But now he looks really out of character. I kinda like it but kinda don't.

Inktober 4 - Tachikoma

This little guy is a great success. 

I never felt so comfortable drawing a robot haha, tho the roundy body was time consuming.

Futaba Sakura

She's winner of September, and Im... yea I'm late. But that's okay! The result is pretty satisfying imo.

I managed to get pretty close to her original style. I still lack some... Contrast, I guess. And posing. And making noodly-thin teenagers. But it was a real good experience.

I'm also adding the star pattern I made to use here in the link... It's really not well done, but I can edit it a bit if you need a new imagine of it to use for whatever.

Inktober 3 - Terminus 909

I spent literally 80% of the day watching streams that weren't progressing at all lel and took a bunch of time to finish this boy.

However... I got a lot more of it then I was expecting. Specially the head and torso bits, the sketch showed nothing and I just put the pieces together until it looked okay.

This is the kind of approach I wanna have to robots sometimes. Less 'exact' and more expressive. I think it worked somewhat here... Could be a lot better tho.

September Fever

So, if you're a patron or a watcher from Twitter you must have noticed the crazy amount of drawings during September. I wanted to stabilish a pace so Inktober didn't take so much of me. 

It kinda worked, I'd say, but as the lazy butt that I am, I forgot to post them here... Tho, technically, I dont like flooding this page with low quality doodles, so I guess its okay.

Summer Robin

I got to pick between two pretty gals this month (I suppose last month since Im late) so here's summer Robin~

I like her dressed lol but I got to practice some skin shading and I think in the end it looks really nice. The pose is basically what I had in mind, tho the background is a bit meh.

I was first only going to do water splashes under her but the picture felt bland so I added the floaty water bits. That made it 200% better!

That said my water shading is not the best yet, but this looks okay...

In the link there's a bikini-only version and a render, along with the trim I'll post on twitter. So yey~

Taokaka

Patron choice picture of july~ I would post the link with the alt background version, but this one is the superior version lol.

I really like Taokaka and I'm glad I had an excuse to draw her, tho it never really seems to come out right. In the process she had a really creppy face, I saw some other fanart and found out how to make her look cute, but she still hm. It's as if when I draw her, her design doesn't really pop out as interesting. 

Maybe it's that feeling cooks get when they've tried their food in the making process and when it's done they don't think it delicious anymore. LOL.

I guess this is well done, but I should really start to think of backgrounds for my drawings.

Derrick - Final Form

This one was requested by one of the patrons and my friend~ who's been working on his characters for a while, and has shown me lots of drawings of his own.

It was really fun to make after I finally figured out how to, luckily I could use organic shapes and didn't have to worry about it being absolutely symmetrical. I think this piece is really different from things that I usually do, and it's a good thing to be able to work on these once in a while.

I started sketching his dragon face on a different angle cuz I thought we were going to make an icon out of it at first. It was nice to have an idea of how his face and hair were before going to the actual picture.

I think I'm getting better at dragon faces... I gotta work out the teeth tho.

Uh. I suppose I gotta work on drawing actual faces.

Elf Family Picture

I was commissioned to do this lovely family with their dream armors on :P This... Took way more time than I expected ; w ;

At least Im getting better at making details on stuff I guess, haha

Anyway. I need to work on my backgrounds. Tho if I made anything too flashy then the characters would disappear a bit so I chose to keep it simple and mute. I think it kinda worked.

Aggretsuko Cuties

This theme was a surprise and it winning made me watch everything Retsuko had to offer lol It's a fun series.

... So I made two pictures cuz my heart couldn't stand not making the second one. Yay~

On a side note, I didnt nail the style, but it's always fun to try different stuff and this one was simple enough that it came out cute anyway.

My May conclusion - Urabe Mikoto and Taiga Aisaka

I'm super proud of what I managed to achieve this month even tho it wasnt all that I wanted. This one came between some stress but was also super fun to make, in request of one of my patrons, two waifus and their band! (band to come lel) 

Taiga is from Toradora and Mikoto be from  Nazo no Kanojo X or Mysterious Girlfriend X.

As for the rest of the month, I didnt manage to make 31 amazing pictures, I did 29 okay ones, and to fill some of the remaining days I made a doodle request stream and these are the results!
