I've begun to finalize the story, finally getting a "vomit pass" in so that I can look at everything now thats it fully written down on a sheet paper.
Without offering too many spoilers, my biggest critique is to deliver more on the fantasy aspect during the fun n games section of the story. There's a lot of talking, not a lot of doing.
While I re-write the re-vision, I've started sketching up rough pages to start zeroing in on the style goal. It's funny, I was showing my boyfriend everything I've worked on for this project and he said "Wow you've been in a lot of work into this huh?"

A well off runaway teen named Cettus falls into a trap made by a forest infernya named Dahlia. Cettus, unable to use magic, can’t return to the surface fast enough before the rain starts. Instead the two are forced to wait out the storm stuck underground watching the water rise.
I didn't want to announce this until I was confident in executing it so I waited about a month. I started pre-production for the art aspect and nailed down this short little story. This universe is based on infernya lore with some characters I'm very familiar with. To start I'll be doing a small short story of their first meeting.
Because I am starting this comic, this does mean I have stopped working on the toy comic I started. I found it difficult to navigate the lore when I don't own it and therefore don't have the rights to change it. That's why I went in this direction instead, this is a lot more homegrown and a lot more me!
