Many of you have already noticed the problem with links to the game here and elsewhere. The archive with the game on various clouds and file storages is constantly unavailable, deleted "for violating the conditions" and all that. What is going on? Some suggest that the problem is growing from copyright, since the game is based on the Star Wars universe, however, in reality, everything is much simpler.
A couple of months ago, a character appeared on the F95 forum with a new, obviously fake, just created profile without a single message. He immediately stated that he was banned by me on Patreon for criticizing me, which is an outright lie, because in the entire existence of my account I have not blocked a single person here, nor for criticism for any other reason. Further, the character stated that I was a scammer, I actually did not create any game, but only periodically "draw screenshots" to show you and earn money from the "supposedly working process". And even if the game actually exists, then I'm still a scammer, because I've been making it for too long. Well, really, create a project of this level alone is just a matter of just a couple of weeks, isn't it?
What followed was some absolutely wild ridiculous "evidence" that I own to some other Patreon accounts and, of course, another accusation of scam. In the process, the "accuser" was banned several times by the moderators, but each time he created another fake account and continued to talk nonsense. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to see the overall picture of what is happening, since the f95 moderators have removed most of his "art", but something remains in the quotes:
In a word, a certain schoolboy who was sick in the head imagined himself to be the arbiter of destinies and decided, as he put it, "to clear the Internet of my project." After that, btw, he was ridiculed even by those forum visitors who, in general, criticize my work in the same way. As a result, now he sends complaints about my files on various file storages, as a result of which they are blocked or deleted.
However, in addition to this, "clearing the Internet from my project" also includes:
- sending letters supposedly on my behalf in support of Patreon and other platforms demanding to block my account, since he is the real owner, and I stole it from him.
- using my phone and e-mail to register in all sorts of dubious services, microloans, applications for bank loans, social networks, car dealerships and even on the website of the Ministry of Defense (this schizophrenia was especially pleased xD xD xD). The funny thing is that there is no sense in these actions without MY participation.
- publication of fake "screenshots" in which I allegedly speak impartially in someone's address.
And all sorts of other little things like that. By the way, as our "fighter for justice" said, he is an adult, accomplished person, who is doing well in life. Well, as you understand, it is precisely such people who behave exactly in this way, don't they? At the same time, our undoubtedly "absolutely honest" man (woman? fuck know who are else?) never showed his real face, cowardly hiding behind dozens of fake accounts, email addresses and stupid nicknames.
Well, as you understand, the scammer after that of course I am.
Btw, I perfectly understand that he is now also here and reading this. Well, rejoice - your actions are equal to absolute zero. Nothing has changed in my work, I am still easy and happily continuing the development of the game according to the plan, and everyone who is interested in this is guaranteed to receive it. The only real way for you to interfere (not stop, just temporarily interfere) with my work is to personally come to my house and burn my computer. Come on, dare.
And to everyone else - thank you very much for your support and interest in the project. I do it for you.
As for the problem with links - it will be solved in the coming days.

As you know, many open world games have a change in time of day. I also thought about adding such a system to the game and now, while working on dialogues and quests, I came to the conclusion that this is really necessary, because many tasks and events look much more logical and interesting if they need to be completed at a certain time of the day.
The essence of the system itself is inspired by the mechanics from The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. If you need to come to the right place at the right time of the day, you can open the menu and simply "scroll" the time to the desired moment without forcing yourself to wait for minutes and hours of real time. However, in addition, in the mentioned games there is also a background day-night cycle, where the game time smoothly changes over a couple of real hours.
From here, I have a question that I want to discuss with you - do I need both of these mechanics in the game, or can I get by with just one, for example, simply choosing morning-afternoon-evening-night in the menu. After all, this is still the universe of star wars, where there is no binding to some specific days and the number of hours in them. On the other side, a smooth change in the time of day can add atmosphere to the game world.
So, what is your opinion - is it worth implementing both systems or will it be enough just to change the time of day through the game menu? I note right away that technically these systems are almost the same, so the question is not the complexity of their implementation, but only how it will be better for the gameplay.

New Year's and other holidays, as well as family matters, knocked me out of my working rhythm a little, but it's time to get back to business :) I think you are already waiting for a new game update, since the recently released demo didn't satisfy many of people, which in general is quite understandable. But that will be fixed soon.
I'll start with a question about broken download links that many of you have probably experienced in recent days. Yes, the problem exists, for some reason, file storages such as Mega and Google Drive deleted the archives with the game, explaining this as some kind of violation of the rules. I don’t know what rules I violated there, despite the fact that archives with previous versions continue to be safely stored on these services. I suspect that it's more about complaints from some envious "well-wishers".
Hovewer, it doesn't matter. In the next few days, I plan to launch my own site, which, in addition to another source of news and other information about the game, will also serve as a repository for downloads. Thus, the link to the current demo of the game will always be available to you :) I'll tell you more about the site in a couple of days.
Now for the game itself. Firstly, as you know, the last demo has a strange performance issue, which results in 20-30 fps even on powerful computers. This issue has been resolved, although I had to rebuild something in the game project, which slightly moved the release date of the update, but it will still be released in the next couple of weeks.
What will be included in the update:
- Dialogue system. You can talk to absolutely any of the characters you meet, some of which will prefer to get rid of you with insignificant phrases, while others, on the contrary, will tell you a lot of interesting things.
- Quests. Most likely there will be no plot component in the demo yet, however, small tasks that you can get from some NPCs will brighten up your pastime and allow you to better explore the location.
- Additional hairstyles, jewelry and tattoos for Shana, as well as color variations of costumes.
- Additional characters, droids, new races (like Wookiees and Trandoshans) and interactive objects.
- And sex, of course. The game will not yet have events for Shana herself, however, there will be many moments that you can watch with pleasure, and sometimes peep through the keyhole :)

2D or 3D level map?
Hey.
While I'm working on fixing performance and control bugs, I'll be integrating the actual gameplay part into the game along the way, in particular the dialogue system, quests, trading, and so on. One of these elements is the level map, since in the town of Mos Phalla (and later around it) there are many points of interest, and it will not be so easy to find some of them without a map (for example, not everyone immediately found the cantina in docking bay 34) .
So the question is: which card would be more convenient in your opinion? It could be a simple 2D scheme like in the first Battlefront.
Or it could be an interactive 3D level projection like in Fallen Order.
The question is rather not in visual beauty, but in ease of use. As for me, the map from the Fallen Order was rather inconvenient in places and confused the player, at the same time, the map from the Battlefront was not very informative. But this is only my opinion, and yours I'm waiting in the poll results and comments.
