20$ Tier changes update

Okay! Here is how I want this to go. I am going to discontinue the 20$ tier in two weeks. If you want your future reward (for example in 6 months) you could pay the difference (120$USD)

This basically is giving you a discount with the 6 months of already being subscribed (120$USD) as the total for 12 months is (240$ USD)

Let's give some more examples. Reminder that a shell reward is every 12 months

You have been subscribed 34 months and have redeemed 1 faceshell so far.

1. 34-12(Redeemed shell) = 22 "Credits" Remain

2. Therefore you can redeem another shell. 22-12(Redeem Shell)= 10

3. 10 Credits is not enough to redeem a shell, HOWEVER as stated previously you can pay the difference and add the 2 credits for 20$ per credit. (40$ = +2 credits)

4. You now have 12 credits and can redeem a shell. 12-12 = 0. Problem Solved!

I am trying to finish all previous redeemed shells by the end of the year.

I will email the current 20$ tier members how many credits/months you currently have

THERE IS NO RUSH TO REDEEM THEM,

I actually would prefer if you do not need a shell in the near future to wait!

Once all past physical orders are complete it will be a lot faster for me to finish the patreon reward orders.

I have unpublished the 20$ tier (no new people can join that tier) as I do not want to make physical rewards in the future.

(Which will give me more time to make digital content and focus on school)

If you are already paying towards a 12 month goal you can remain on the 20$ tier until you hit your goal. After you hit your next milestone of subscription payments (ex 12,24,36 months) I suggest hopping to the 10$ tier

I must clarify all people who have been paying the 20$ tier will still be able to get their rewards they already earned as well

As far as the t-shirt rewards I will see if I can figure out if that can be switched to a one time purchase type of thing, or see what other options I have for that.

The 125$ tier still earns credits for shells and is unaffected by this change

You are allowed to sell prints of any patreon files. Just do not share the files themselves, and be sure to let people know that the design is from the patreon

5$ tier Changes

5$ Tier will now have access to digital/computer based tutorials. Such as faceshell modelling and pattern related things. (you still have to buy the pattern base separately if you want to learn how to make them with the 5$ tier). Or you can upgrade to the 10$ tier for a month to get access to the base, download it, then drop back down to the 5$ tier.

Pattern creation tutorials are not posted yet but will be within a month or so.

Other changes

Starting next month the 50% discount code will only apply to the 10$ tier and up. I have also updated the posts for the 5$ tier to only have access to the current monthly files.

Previously they had access to old monthly files and it was not supposed to be like that!

Also expect a molding and casting tutorial soon, I have new urethane on the way

Suggestions for 20$ tier

Starting august I will be going back to college. However the workload with all of the other things I do will be wild. So that leaves a question, how do I handle the free shell reward token system? I like being able to give free shells every # of months to subscribers, however keeping up with the tokens is quite difficult.

Would you guys be okay with going to a free shell once a year? (at the end of the 12 months) of course this would not reset progress on the months/tokens you have already gained, it would just transfer over. Also shells would technically be 40$ more expensive which I feel is fair now that there is a lot more content here (and you have the option to get a mask with webs if you so desire)

Keeping up with several rewards to be redeemed with tokens is just too much work.

I feel that the 20$ tier should also get discounts on printed patterns, and perhaps a free sewing pattern every few months
