AKIRA'S EXPLANATION

for those who saw the video, you will know that Akira is the reincarnation of the admiral, and that is something I have been planning for a long time.

what you see in the first image is the original model of the little admiral, that's how he was originally going to appear in the stories with that model.

the reason why I didn't use that design and changed it at the last moment, was for two reasons:

• it was going to be very obvious that it was Akira, and there wouldn't have been any surprise, besides I wanted to see how Atago fell in love with him, without knowing that it was his little admiral
• I wasn't sure about making Atago the rival in Moyako's love, I was between Atago or Rinko, but in the end I decided for Atago.
