My weekend was busier than I expected, so I didn't hit my render goals for the week, but apparently, I still locked in on the script. Those numbers may not be as visually impressive on the report, but getting ahead on the final script and having an exact plan for the accompanying renders is still a huge win for the game's progress.
For some reason, though, I've been rotating between 4 different sections of S8 instead of concentrating on just one. To a degree, it was meant to help ensure that everything would work in tandem without having to backtrack to fix anything; however, it's not the most efficient. Regardless, the momentum is still building, and apart from one thing that I've been stumped on, and my bouncing between segments, everything is rolling so damn smoothly. In the end, as long as I keep myself working, I think I've had a good week.
I'm genuinely so excited for the Part 2 release. I may struggle to post big numbers, and I probably shouldn't be trying this hard for a game that isn't even on any major platforms, but damn it, I'm just in it for the love of the game, baby! This could be my shortest release yet, but I'll be damned if it isn't some of my best (or at least, favorite) work as well.

It's been another interesting week, but I'm happy to have some better numbers to show for it at least. Thankfully, I'm finally starting to build up some momentum again. So far, everything in S8 is astronomically easier to work with than anything in S7, and if I can keep pace, I should be able to knock out at least another 50-60 renders this week. Perhaps even an animation, if I make it that far.
As I briefly mentioned last week, I broke S8 down into 5 smaller and easier-to-manage sections. So far, 3 of those scenes have already been built, and I've started rendering and finalizing the script for 2 of them. Usually, I would only work on one thing at a time, but I've reached a crossroads with one of the scenes and moved on to give myself more time to consider my options. I may have to post a subscriber poll this week to get help deciding, but we'll see... I'll only hint that it has something to do with a potential 'variety' path scene.
Remember, the next release is only going to be S7 and S8, so we are definitely past the halfway point. And if my S8 momentum keeps building, then perhaps we're even well past the halfway point.

It's been nearly a month since the last 'Favorite scene' Poll, and so I figured it was a good time to drop one for the next chapter on the list. The scene list is a little lengthy, though, so let me know if you think I should break these up into half-chapter polls, or alternatively, if I should try to condense them more so as to avoid having too many options. For example, I combined Gloria's scenes from before and after meeting Kaela into one option, and I excluded some very small scenes, like crossing paths with Cordelia in the woods.
Either way, there are a lot of scenes to list, so I'll get to it.

I'm sorry for missing this post last week, but I hope you enjoy the renders. While I obviously love the adult side of the game, I do enjoy the more touching and emotional moments as well. I hope you do too!
I don't have huge numbers to show off this week. I won't lie, large chunks of the week were a mental health write off. I'm sorry, but I'm still trying to deal with some personal stuff in the background, but that's not important for the report.
There was still some still significant progress made, if only in plotting out my new plans for S8. As with most things in the game, I usually have grander plans than what I'm able to accomplish, so it took me a couple days to trim S8 down into something much less intricate. Afterwards, it took me another day to buy/download/assemble the pieces for a new S8 set, and thankfully, the renders in this new set seem to finish very fast so far. I should actually be able to throw up some decent numbers this week.
Also, I apologize for missing the Subscriber post this weekend. I think it's the first missed subscriber post since the last release, and I'm a little bummed about it. Sadly, I was stuck in bed with a brutal migraine for half of Saturday, and Sunday was a family/chores/more migraine day, so I just couldn't do anything about it. However, do not fret! That post will be carried over to this week, so that there will be 3 subscriber posts instead of just 2.

Over the last several check-in polls, it's become obvious that Cordelia and Sheila aren't as favored as others, and it makes the polls a lot less interesting when the winner is always the third option.
So I decided to release their check-ins at random intervals and reset the poll with a more balanced roster. Hopefully, this can make these check-in polls a little more competitive going forward.

Also, no! The recent Ariana and Olivia posts were not check-ins, those were just random pin-up renders.
It was a bumpy week, but I did what I could. There's been some things going on behind the scenes that I can't really discuss here, but I'm doing my best not to let it distract me too much.
Apart from that, I've been struggling with hard drive space on my C:\ drive for a while, and it came to a head on Saturday morning when my frustration peaked. I finally decided to transfer all of my 3D software and associated assets (450GB+) over to another hard drive. Thankfully, it seems to have worked for the most part, and I haven't lost any save data. However, it was slow AF, and my PC was mostly out of commission for the entire day. To make matters more frustrating, while my saves were fine, it did mess up some of the asset downloads that were essential for me to work on anything. So that's why half of Sunday was also lost while I reinstalled what I needed to get back to work. Thankfully, it seems like that's all settled now.
In other development news, I've been struggling to finish the difficult 'middle section' of s7 and I'm torn on what to do. I'm heavily debating cutting one of the choices for that chapter, but it's difficult when I feel like it's such a good addition to the game. The problem is how difficult the scene is to deal with. Between the characters and the set around them, it's such a dense scene that I have to keep the entire set hidden/turned off until everyone is posed because it takes 30 literal seconds for each individual click of the mouse when it's on... And sometimes it HAS to be on. It's just been slowly driving me crazy, so, instead, I spent my week refining and expanding on S7, while finishing all the odds and ends I could find along the way. I'll probably just move on to S8 going forwardand hope that I'll be more motivated to dive back into my self-inflicted flagellation in s7. If I decide against it in the end then at least S7 would technically be finished right now.

I'll be honest, this isn't a very exciting poll, but it's one of those little issues that I constantly worry I'm wasting my time with. Essentially, it's just another analytic type of poll, but since it's not very important, I won't waste your time with a long post.
Do you prefer HD or 4K renders?
Of course, unless there's a landslide winner, I still intend to continue uploading both 4k and HD versions of my renders. However, as usual, it would still be nice to get a better understanding of just how many people are looking for that extra quality.

It's going to be a fairly short report this week because I was dealing with some personal stuff throughout the week and had a lot of holiday plans with friends and family this weekend.
I was expecting to finish the end section of S7 this week but forgot about plans and didn't have as much time as expected. The section turned out to be a little longer than expected as well, after properly scripting it out, but I'm extremely happy with how the scene is turning out. Still, there are only a handful of renders left before I can move back to the middle section, or on to S8 to continue my break from the grind of S7.
That's it for this week. As I said, I've been busy, but I finally got back from home in time to type this report and I'm going to try to knock out a few more renders before the night is out.

I'm still on scene 7, though thankfully, I'm finishing it at a steady pace. In fact, I'm nearly finished with the "outro" section of the scene, and I'll have to return to finish the denser middle portion of the scene before the week is out. I'll be honest, I can't wait to finish this damn scene! I'm more than happy with how everything is turning out so far, but holy moly, is it a GRIND!
Looking ahead, this S7 nonsense has encouraged me to rethink some of S8, and I may streamline it slightly. I'm not going to worry about it now, as finishing S7 is my only concern for the moment. We'll see what happens when I get there, but I think I would rather have S8 take a fraction of the time S7 has and be slightly less extravagant, but who knows? Maybe I'll throw the choice up on a subscriber poll when I need to make the choice.

I needed to dig myself out of the monotony I've been dragging myself through, so I decided to skip ahead and work on something new this week. I was hoping to throw up some better numbers, but ironically, I went from spending 1h setting up a scene just to have it finish rendering in <10 minutes, to setting up a scene in 10 minutes and having it take >1h to render. Working with 3D assets can be so confusing sometimes... Still, the fresh scenery helped me make some decent progress.
Honestly, I can't think of anything else worthy of mention for this report, so I might as well keep things short. When they're combined, they aren't even as large as one of my average releases these days. There's also the fact that these chapters contain much more world/character building than adult content. In the end, it seemed easiest to combine these two to avoid bloating the 'Player Choice Poll' collection with unnecessary polls.

Another week of slowly pushing this boulder towards the next update, although I'm very excited with the way things are starting to shape up. I've just reached the climax of the scene, and admittedly, there have been a few more reshoots than normal, trying to ensure everything turns out as I envisioned. I just hit my record for this release with 8 reshoots on a single render, hah! I usually don't need that many reshoots, if any, but this happened to be one of the most important renders for the chapter, so I didn't want to mess it up.
I am, as always, sorry for the seemingly slow progress. I frequently feel guilty when I can't throw up numbers like some other devs seem to be able to, especially when I have so much more free time now, but I really hope you'll understand why once you see the next release. My OCD/perfectionism certainly doesn't help speed things up, but I do have some incredibly dynamic scenes on the way, and I hope they'll be enjoyed and appreciated when all is said and done.
I honestly don't have a whole lot more to say this week. So, I'll keep things short and wish you all another great week. I'll see some of you for the subscriber posts later this week and the rest on next week's report.

It's been an interesting week to say the least. I've had a lot more time to work on the game than I usually would, and although I got distracted a lot being at home all day, I was still able to use my time more effectively than expected.
Firstly, I have to admit that I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this scene, but I've committed now, and hopefully, the game will (eventually) be all the better for my struggles. I'm trying to do things as efficiently and quickly as possible, but between posing so many characters and often having to do 3-4 passes on each render just to fit everyone, it's unavoidable that things will slow down.
However, on a related note, I've realized that I've been very conservative with my progress bar, and I'm definitely nearly to the halfway mark with scene 7. Potentially even farther if I'm still subconsciously selling myself short. Oh well! Better to undersell and surprise people than to oversell and disappoint.
Subscribers can look forward to a mid-week poll about a secret little something that I'm working on, and an end-of-week gold or silver-tier pin-up post starring either Ariana or Olivia. I haven't decided yet, but we'll see where inspiration takes me when the time comes.

I've been working on this game for years now, and it's about time that we get a definitive list of who the most common love interests in Homelander are. However, it's not really a competition. It's just a curious statistic that I would love to find out.
I'm only including characters who have the option to romance provided already, whether it's led to something or not, just to keep things a little simpler. Also, Ariana and Olivia will be excluded from the list, since their relationship is already implied.
