It hasn't been an incredible week. No excuses. I've just been feeling drained and I wanted to take it easy. I spent the majority of my dev time testing scenes for grammar, and to find any sections I might have missed hidden in the walls of text.
I've also been running tests on some animations. I'm in the process of rendering a final out animation right now but it's taking an eternity. I'm hoping it will be done by morning but either way, I'm including it in the numbers for this report.
I'm really hoping I can lock it in this week and make some real progress. Pray for me, y'all... Much love! JB

This is a bit of a new character spoiler, but I teased her ages ago when I was struggling to lock down her name, so I felt she was overdue for a bit of a teaser reintroduction...
That being said, I feel the need to point out that a majority of these 'Pub Night' renders were made over a year ago!!
This chapter has taken an insanely long time to release (totally my bad...), and for some reason, these were some of the first renders I made after finishing Chapter 3. So... yeah... Just keep that in mind when comparing them to my newer content lol.
I thought I would keep things simple this week and throw out a poll for the next teaser post.
Just like the last time I did this, most of these have been teased before and I'll leave it up to you all to try figuring out which is which.

I spent most of the week coding and organizing content into the game, and I'm proud to say that both S9 and S12 are finished. At least until I start testing them and inevitably find missing sections, but that's a worry for a later date.
S10 is a big scene with a lot that still needs to be rendered and coded, so it definitely won't progress as fast as the rest of the scenes have, but seeing as that's the only scene I have left for this chapter, it's about to get my FULL attention.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week. It's been another busy one and I lost track of the days again. I'm likely going to put out something else tomorrow to make up for the lack of content.
Below are a couple of 'pin-up' shots I was messing around with this morning and although they turned out a little darker then I'd hoped, I cranked the brightness and contrast and they look much better now.

There isn't a long report this week since it's just been a lot of the same stuff as last week. I've been rendering out the second outro and it's been taking a while because of all the figures in the images. However, not only have I finished all the renders with multiple figures, but I'm easily at least three-quarters of the way through the entire scene and I only need to finish one small before it should be ready to finish coding and testing.
I also made a breakthrough with S9 this week. I didn't exactly get a whole lot of work done on it, but I made it over one of the hurdles that's been holding me back with it. There may be one or two more issues to iron out before I'm able to finish wrapping it up, but once I start properly focusing on it again I think it will be much easier now.

I was planning to do another poll, but I've been busy this week and I've been behind on NSFW posts, so I figured I would just put this out so I could get a NSFW out later this week.
Despite several PC hiccups, it was a surprisingly productive week! I accidentally downloaded an update for one of the programs I use, which usually means I have to spend several days readjusting to the program's new quirks and lost features. However, things seemed to actually improve overall, which was a huge surprise! Despite having several PC crashes since the update, my renders seem to finish much faster than they used to with comparable quality.
If I hadn't been working on renders with multiple characters that sometimes required 3-4 different passes each, I might have even been able to get a significant portion more finished this week. Mind you, I was really excited about these scenes and had a little extra time off this week. Regardless, I'm excited to see if this newfound render speed carries over to other scenes or if I just got lucky with the ones I'm working on now.
Anyway, I don't have much else to report today. Hope you all have another great week!

I just wanted to make a quick little teaser post for any who are interested.
Below is a little teaser for the second half of chapter 4.
Make sure you DON'T scroll any further down in this post unless you like teasers/spoilers. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of them, but I certainly can't fault anyone for wanting to get early previews of content they enjoy.
My ADHD was in high gear this week and I think that the development reflects that. I feel like every day I was bouncing from one thing to another. I honestly can't even explain how or why that happened, but that's why there are only tiny little bumps in most of the numbers.
I'm still stuck on S9's script, so I've been focusing elsewhere in the meantime. I keep flip-flopping on the direction I want to take with the scene, and since it's a potentially important moment, I really want to make sure that I do it right! I know that I'll figure it out eventually though.
I also wrapped up one of the outros! Told you it was short!
However... I've been slowly hashing out the second outro, but I'm hitting a bit of a wall there as well. My heart wants to "Go Big or Go Home" but my brain keeps telling me to tone it down a little for the sake of both my sanity and the development timeline. As usual, the glutton in me will probably win out in the end, and the scene will likely end up being bigger than originally planned.
Oh, and I also finished the initial testing round of S8 and tested what I could of S9.

Back with another content question for everyone. I'll save further development polls of this type for a later date, however, since this is kind of the second half of the poll from earlier this week, I wanted to get it out to you before I forgot.
This time, I'd love to know the type of content that you like to see. As I mentioned, I spent a lot of time working on Subscriber content last week and I wanted to pitch some things as well as gauge what content I've made in the past that you've liked.
Pretty straightforward, I think. I'll give each option a small description below and there are no wrong answers! I'll likely be making all of the following content regardless. However, this poll will help me know what you guys like the most and maybe what I should put more effort into in the long run.
Some of these I've done before and have listed references, others are newer ideas with no examples yet.

Character Sheets - Images displaying and describing the ladies. I'm still working out a format that I like, but I think I'm nearly finished and would like to start rolling these out before too long. (no ref.)

Lately, I've been wondering what people expect, or hope for, when subscribing to my page. While there are a couple of questions related to this concern, one of them is concerning the amount of posts people like to see. I usually aim for 2 posts a week, not including the Progress Reports, and I try to rotate the posts evenly between the tiers. However, as many know, I haven't always accomplished that, and I usually panic when I don't.
I just want to get a better feel for my subscribing audience and what they like to see so that I can do a better job of keeping you all happy! I would love any kind of feedback or opinions on the matter in the comments. The whole reason I'm doing this is to get your opinions so don't be afraid to be honest with me in the comments or the voting.

I was honestly finding it quite hard to stay on task this week. I don't know if I've been burnt out or if I just need more downtime, but I decided to take it easy for most of the week, and honestly, I'm feeling pretty refreshed! Also, none of this is to say that I didn't buckle down and get some shit done!
When I was finding it hard to work on the game I spent some time planning out Pat/Substar content, and I now have numerous polls and additional content lined up and ready to go. I'm probably going to go a little hard on polls this week so I can try to get a better gauge of people's preferences and expectations concerning the rewards offered, but that can wait for now.
I finished testing S7 and dove into testing S8, but for some reason, I keep hitting a wall with S9's script. I just haven't hit the inspiration I need to untangle that scene yet, but it's bound to happen eventually. Also, I've actually been doing a lot of scripting and scene organization on S10, but it's just such a massive scene that it doesn't appear that I'm making progress.
I also made a couple of "animations". I use quotations because they're both closer to the "slideshow-styled" animations that I usually wouldn't include in the numbers. However, since I had to run them through Premiere to properly blend the renders and sync the audio, and since they're going to be video files that take up more space, I figured it counted.

I won't lie, it was difficult to find the energy to work this week. My day job was busy and my energy levels after getting home were low. Overall, I still made some decent progress, but I definitely feel like I could have done better.
I don't even have anything else to report this week apart from that. I'm still planning on a Pat/Substar poll and follow-up post this week but otherwise, that's about it.

First and foremost, I needed to take a break from Scene 7. I was finding it hard to concentrate on so I just moved on to Scene 8, and as you can see, that went very well! As I mentioned before, most of the scenes are relatively small compared to 7 and 10, so things are progressing very well all things considered.
I've also swapped some of the colors on the report. I don't know why I didn't have the colors like this to begin with... It just makes more sense to flip the yellow and green IMO, so hopefully, it isn't too confusing for anyone...
But just to clarify for everyone: RED = Previously completed content YELLOW = Newly created content GREEN = Tested/Completed content

I had a decent week, despite still feeling a little brain-dead from the previous week's sickness. Did anyone else feel super lethargic after getting COVID? I'm still not sure if that's what I had, but it's the first time that I haven't gone back to 100% after being sick so I'm starting to suspect...
Anyway, I've nearly finished with Scene 7! I decided to add a small section to the end of it so I could avoid having to do another full scene in later chapters. Surprisingly, I was able to tac it on quite easily and managed to render out most of the material I needed to round off the scene. Apart from a handful of renders and a few lines of dialogue, S7 is practically finished! Of course, I still need to thoroughly test it, but that can wait for now.
I realized seeing a lot of empty bars still is a little concerning for some, but rest assured that S7 and S10 are by far the biggest scenes in this update. I would guess that around half (maybe even two-thirds) of the content for this update will be coming from those two scenes alone. Mostly because they're technically several scenes combined. The outros aren't planned to be very long, and I'm still debating if I'll be cutting one or not, and the other two scenes are much smaller by comparison so they shouldn't take anywhere near as long to complete.
As for the Patreon reward that was promised Sunday/Monday I apologize that I was a little late completing the render so I'll be posting it first thing tomorrow! Also, since I was late in posting it, I decided not only to make a 4k version of the SFW render but to make a NSFW version in 4k as well (for gold members)! That one will be posted on Wednesday. And yes, They're actually 4k this time! I swear!

I'll be honest, this was one hell of a bad week for me. I spent the majority of it sick AF, with so much pressure in my sinuses that I could barely see. It might have been COVID, but I've never had it before, as far as I know, and they weren't the typical symptoms that I was aware of so by the time someone suggested that's what it might have been it was too late to test for it.
Long story short, I did the best I could this week, and I was at least able to work an hour or two at a time here and there. Still, I did make some progress despite being in bed most of the time... I scripted and rendered what I could, I tested all the finished content for S7, and I figured out some dumb coding that was giving me a lot of trouble the last time I was working on this section. It's amazing how sometimes the smallest coding problems can require the largest solutions.
Anyway, I'm sorry that I have a shitty immune system. I promise that I've been taking my vitamins and eating my veggies all week. I swear! Thankfully, I've been feeling progressively better every day since Thursday so I hope to get some proper work done this week!

This was a good dev week despite the lack of massive numbers. The reason is that I'm trying a slightly different tactic with this half of the chapter by trying to work on the scenes in order. I hope that this way if I feel like the update is taking too long, I should still be able to release a handful of the scenes that are ready to go. I'm still going to try to release this half of the chapter as a whole update again, but I definitely won't be going another year before another release, so we'll see what happens.
This week, I coded and tested a large portion of Scene 7 and started rendering out any missing pieces I could find along the way. I've almost caught up to where I left off the last time I was working on this scene and should be able to make some more solid progress this week.

Finally! Pat posts are back! It's been a while since I've made any Patreon renders and even longer since I made one specifically to be a desktop background. I had meant to post this last night, but after I threw it together and ran some tests, I fell asleep waiting for the final render to finish. I suppose that first thing in the morning will have to do just as well.
I hope you all had a great holiday and enjoyed the newest update. Apologies for the late report, but I got distracted cooking lunches and cleaning.
I honestly haven't made a lot of progress on part two yet, apart from the work that was already done, of course. Partially because I was still on vacation and haven't taken any proper days off since this time last year (apart from my birthday), and partially because I spent most of my vacation's "work hours" worrying about patches and complaints, and trying to work on my socials and shops.
I don't have any more to report today, but I'm back on the grind this week with an already massive head-start on this second half. So overall, things are still looking great!
The long wait is over and the update has arrived! I'm sorry that it took so long but it's been a crazy year and, as usual, I also bit off more than I could chew with this huge chapter. I think going forward, I might continue to aim for half-chapter releases to reduce the time between updates. Especially for chapters this long and complicated. Thankfully I have huge chunks of the second part already finished so the next release should be muuuuuch faster! Regardless, these are all concerns for the future.
