Weekly Update

Hey all, 

It's time for a quick update on Loser. I've finished Jesse's new AT, and have now moved on to Diane's 2nd AT. This is why I've been so quiet recently. I've been focusing heavily (60+ hour weeks) on squeezeing as much content into Loser as I can before the end of the month.  I should be releasing the new Loser update early-mid next week so yay!

That being said, I will be doing the End of the month Stream on Tuesday & Wednesday. I'm trying to give myself as much uninterrupted time to develop as I can, and the EoM streams are big interuptions. Ideally I'll have the test build out by the End of Month stream, so that oncew the End of Month stream is complete, I should have had enough time to chase down all the bugs. 

That's the plan anyway. I'm gonna get back to work now. o/

Weekly Update

Hey all,

I thought it was good time to get everybody caught up on progress. First off...Becky's new AT has been implimented and I'm more or less done with ironing out it's bugs. So I'm pretty much right on track there. Becky tends to take longer than the other characters due to the party renders. And I have now started on Gina's new AT.

I've also continued to do work on updating SP characters forSP2. I've gotten most of the more popular characters built with Gen8 models now. Which is good. I'd like to be able to sprint toward a working game, as soon as possible next month, and having art assets ready to be used will be a big help in being able to do that :)

So here's my current planned schedule. I have about 3 weeks left of Loser dev. Then I'll take a short break to deal with any bugs in Loser, and finally finish the last SP1 update. Then 8 weeks of SP2 Development will start. I'm pretty excited about all of it :) Hope you are too :D

Weekly Update

Hey everybody. Just giving a quick update.

Progress on Becky is moving along. I've finished most of her house renders, and have been updating the party for some of the new mechanics. Namely the mood modifier mechanics. Currently I'm only implimenting it for Becky and Jay since those two characters are heavily entertwined. Sally will be updated once I start working on her AT.

In my free time I've also continued to be updating the SP models. I estimate to finish Becky's AT by the middle of next week. Ok...gonna get back to work. Just a reminder...End of Month Livestream next weekend :o

WeeklyUpdate

I'm coming up on the end of week 3 of this Loser Dev cycle, and I've made some pretty good progress. I've added a few new minor additions, such as mood modifiers, character outfits, and a new job and location downtown. I've also started working on Becky's new AT.

So things are moving along smoothly. In my off time, I've also been converting some of the old SP models to Gen 8 versions. Currently I've adapted Billy Jean, Maggie, Stephanie, Sandra, Denise, and Allie. Now these don't look exactly the same...My goal is to make them recognizable as said character, not make exact copies, cause that's just impossible. Allie is very distinct in that she has some cartoonish shaping in her face, and cartoonish skin textures, that are just not transferrable to much more realistic body shapes and skin textures. Plus...this gives a more unifying look and feel for SP2 if all the characters are all Gen 8 models.

Anyways. Nothing else to report. Just a quick update that Loser is on track. I'll check back next friday with a further update. Have a good weekend :)

I'm alive and regaining sanity

Hey people I'm alive. I got back to Austin a few weeks ago after a very shitty week+ in Amarillo. I have been trying to figure out how to write this up...but it'd probably be easier for me to just say it plain. SP is killing me. I dread working on it. I hate the amount of spaghetti code I've made in it. Working on it is a serious pain in the ass, the ephasis of the game is a nightmare for me, since it requires a lot of writing(something I find very draining), and feature creep has made creating a new character a monumental effort. These are all issues that new Devs face...but new Devs eventually start new projects with much fewer of these problems. I've been roughing this out for probably 2 years longer than I should have.  Now...I want to be clear...I didn't do all this world building just to fuck off. I still love night city and the SuperPowered world....I'm just done fighting with the mess that is SP. And a lot of this has to do with Ren'py.

I've come to loathe Ren'py as a gaming engine. It's great for VN's, but it is not suited for what I want it to do. The game is ugly and clunky, the images are too small and pretty desturated due the process I have to run them through to reduce thier size, and modifying the UI in anyway is a goddamn nightmare for me. Some people are good with co-ordinate based UI work. I am not. I need a visual editor. For 2 weeks before I left, I'd been in a state of writer paralysis....And a huge part of it is just how much I'm burned out with this game, and how much of it is due to structural problems. Granted those structural problems I made...but I did make them years ago when I had no clue what I was doing. The game is so big at this point Refactoring it would take longer than just starting over. So...I've decided to Start over. Not completely though.

I plan to make an SP2 in Unity. Sorry for all you Ren'py fans. I'm not completely ditching the Ren'py version either. I'll still be leaving it open for people to add to, and I'll still be adding some content to it from time to time to make the transition from one game to the other a little smoother. I will be figureing out a way to transfer your progress from SP1 over. This is something I have to do. I started tinkering with the idea last month when I started working on Gen8 versions of Maggie, and it's just been festering the entire time I've been struggeling to write. It's nothing but torture to try to write decent dialogue for something you have absolutely no inspiration in. I've just made the characters too manditorily complex, which has really burned out my creativity for the project. Making every character have all these  intricate and distinct interactions is great...but making them required to creating a character....is draining. There's something to the effect of 12 base states for every character, with that number being multiplied for some characters. It's just too much writing/rendering/and coding. I need to cut those manditory base states down to like 5 or 6, and then add in the intricacies in other ways. I also need to put more emphasis on game and less on writing. Loser is a pretty good model for me in this aspect. I made SP very narrative driven in part because when I started, It took me 6 hours to render an image, so I tried to compensate for the low image count, with dialogue. I don't really need to do that anymore, but it's built into the structure of the characters now. So yeah....I'm gonna be working on a streamlined SP2 in unity. I'm gonna be focusing more on the Superhero/villain stuff, and adding in the support cast as I go. I will continue to work in the Ren'py version for a while to finish what's already in the game, but I don't plan to go much further beyond where we are now in terms of story.

 I had to stop working on the  Ren'py version for a bit, just to get over this block I have with it currently, So I've started development on Loser. I will be putting out one more Ren'py SP update in the nearish future, but I'm not pushing myself to insanity anymore over that game, so it's taking a backseat to Loser, SP2, and my own sanity. I hope you all can understand. Bit I am also sympathetic if you don't.

Anywho...Let's stasrt this year off right shall we!

Loser:

I've been working on Loser for about a week, and here's what I've gotten done so far. 

Introduction Scene

New Downtown Location: Boutique

New Job: Cashier

Temporary Reputation Modifiers

Purchaseable/Giftable outfits for characters (these are scene specific. Don't expect everything to be rerendered just for a new outfit.)

New Location: Stripclub

I'll begin working on Diane just a bit later tonight. And tomorrow I'll be doing my end of month stream. So here's what the future looks like for. I'll work on Loser through January, and release near the end of Febuary. During that Time, I'll be working on A new AT for Diane, Becky, Gina, Jesse, Tilley(probably), and a second AT for Diane(if time permits).

Once Loser's done, I'll be focusing full time on SP2. I expect to have a working Tech Demo out within 2 weeks and hopefully have the 0.01.00 finished by the end of the first dev Cycle.

So yeah 

TLDR- SP1 has ran it's course. SP2 is on the way. Loser is already in Dev. End of Month Stream this weekend.

Very Late Update

Hey everybody! I'm back. I never really left, I've just been bad on giving an update here. So I took a week off for my birthday, and since then have been busy working on Danni's unstable content and am almost done with it. Which will just leave her fetish content. And then I can start focusing on the next set of content. The Poll results are in. I'll be focused on the Coffee Shop and Sohpie next. 

Looks like Girlfriend Gina won the Loser poll as well. So I'll start focusing on that next Loser Update.

Anywho let me give a quick progress rundown.

Anyway...sorry for being so late here. I took my birthday vacation, and then just focused on rendering when I came back, and kept pushing this update further and further back. Some people have to fight against procastination or motivation. For me it's communication. I'd always rather be doing, than talking about doing. So sorry. I'll keep trying to be better at it.

The Logistics division will add a bunch of scenes to fill out  the upgrading process for Jobs, as well as possibly encounter other characters you've met previously. And it will include fully Developing Courtney, your Logistics Division case worker.

The Coffee Shop will add in two jobs, as well as fully develop Sophie, who's been in the game for while, but only as a special event character. The Coffee shop will also be a good gateway to tie in events with school charaters for those that have graduated ;)


This vote will last 2 weeks, and I'll tally the totals here and on Subscribestar to determine the winner once those two weeks is up.

Weekly Updated

Hey everybodies!

So I just finished and released The Loser Update. Yay! Which means starting next week I'll start working on Danni some more for SP. Ideally I'll finish her this update and start working on the next location...which means...I'll need to hold a vote for what location to focus on. It'll be between Logistics Division w/Courtney or the Coffee Shop w/Sophie. I'll probably post that vote a little bit later today, so keep an eye out.

There's another Vote I'll be posting later today as well. With this last Loser release I've finished Gina's base content path, and will now need to decide where to take her content next. I have a high tier supporter contributing toward Stripper Gina, and that will happen regardless, but there will be a few other options. Girlfriend, Stripper, Cam Girl, or Start working on Lisa. Each option is pretty self explanitory, so keep an eye for that vote as well.

Finally...I'm taking the rest of today, and Tomorrow off. I kill myself near the end of Dev cycles and I need a little bit of not making games time so that I can play games, or just not be at my computer. What's it mean?

1 new AT for Gina : Self Explanitory

3 new Sub AT's for Gina : It is now possible to revert Gina back to earlier AT's of her, while maintaining any new permissions you may have earned. These Sub AT's are SWB 4 star, Bartender 3 star, and Bartender 4 star. They operate just like her previous AT's with those names, except you have more options now.

1 new AT for Becky : Self Explanitory

1 new AT for Diane : Self Explanitory

Sally's first base AT : Self Explanitory

2  new AT's for Jesse : Self Explanitory

1 new Job- Personal Trainer : The Fitness and Healthy skills have been updated to unlock this job, and improve your pay with it. Fitness 1 Unlocks the Gym, and Fitness 2 unlocks the job.

3 new Locations- Jesse's Bedroom, Downtown, Gym : Self Explanitory

Dynamic Afterparty Event : Rather than the Friday night afterparty relying on Becky's AT, now the results of the Afterparty are determined mostly by what you do during the night. If you spend all night dancing with Morgan, she may drag you off into the closet. The same goes for all the other girls. There's also some specific content for Jay + Becky if you spread your time between them, and meet the lifestyle requirement.

New Mechanic- Travel Cost : Some places will now have a cost associated with traveling to the location. For Example...The bar takes half an hour to travel there, so to Travel to the bar I charge a little bit of stamina and 1 hour. Traveling home is free. I just make you pay upfront, so that you never get stranded. This also means some places may require Nathan to drive if he can get some keys, or ride the bus.

New Mechanic- Star Rating : This is the system that determines Nathan's general permissions with a character. This is how You'll be able to progress Gina to her Latest AT which has 4 stars (sex allowed), and then transform her back to SWB(4star) and still be able to have sex, even though you didn't have permission to have sex with SWB Gina previously.

Sex Minigame- Gina : Self explanitory

New Lifestyles: Sexuality , Order/Disorder, Dominance/Submission, Moral/Immoral all now have lifestyels that you can find on Nathan's Skills page. Most of those skills have been updated, modified, and improved as well, with new Actions, Permanant Topics, and Embraced perks.

Lot's of UI Improvements: 

  • Timestamps on Saves, 
  • Trashing Full stacks of topics, 
  • Pondering full stacks of topics, 
  • Filtering Secondary Interests in the characters screen, 
  • Item Count added to Hotbar Overlay (TAB)

Weekly Update

Hey all,

I've been working hard on the Loser update, and things are progressing well. I'm a touch behind, due to the Party update being somewhat bigger than I initially planned (137 images + lot's of dialogue and Sally fiinally has an AT) But I'm not too far behind. I've started work on Dianes new AT, and should have it done by this weekend. Which should give me just enough time to add in Jesse, and the new Job before I start working on SP again sometime next week.

I'll keep this update short and sweet so I can get back to work. The next Loser update will probably be out in about 2 weeks. Once I've finished all the content and have cleaned out all the bugs I come across.

Weekly Update

Hey all,

I wanted to give you all an update before I get too focused on work and forget to do it, like i did last week :o 

So This is the start of the 4th week of Development for Loser, so I have 5 weeks to go. So let's take  look at where I am at.

Refactoring back end stuff + adding in some new actions and Lifestyle  took up the first week.

Gina's Final Vanilla path AT took up the second week.

I've opted to make a few SubAT's over making a whole 2nd AT for Gina. What that means is Now you can Promote Gina to her new AT, and then revert her back to the SWB  AT while still maintaining the new permissions you've earned with her new AT...(She'll sleep with you). From the new version of SWB, you can then revert her back to Bartender Gina, While once again still maintaining your earned permissions. So there's a lot of new scenes for older AT's added ;) This took up the third week.

As of this last weekend, I've started updating the Party scene. The party scene up until now has been very focused on Becky's AT, and I'm now adding in systems to make them less dependant, so that Nathan can chase after other girls. For those that are not fans of Jay... I understand...but Jay makes a good default for Becky to fall back on, when Tilley or Morgan decides to steal you for the afterparty. It works for both monogamous and slutty playstyles since Jay will never be pushy the same way someone like London would be.

 It'll probably take most of the week to finish the Afterparty overhaul since I'll be making scenes for each girl and a scene for Becky + Jay. Because now if you spend all night dancing with Morgan, then Morgan may drag you off during the after party. If you spend all night with Tilley, she may decide to give Jack a rest for the night...ect...

Once the Party is done, I'll start on the new Becky AT. I already have most of her standard renders done. So I don't see it taking any longer than a week, which will leave 3 weeks to work on Diane's new AT, Jesse's AT's and the new Job. So far it looks like I've scheduled myself well this time around...but we'll see :P

So I think we're all caught up on progress, and direction. I want to remind my $30 Patrons that this upcoming weekend will be the End of the Month Livestream, so make sure I know what I should be making for you. Ok back to work now.

Weekly Update

Hey all, 

I wanted to have a full week of Dev, before giving my first real update for Loser. So Here's where we are:

I've implimented 4 new Lifestyles: Moral/Immoral, Order/Disorder, Sexuality, and Dominance/Submission. In preperation of the new Job I plan to add I've added a transition scene for certain locations. Specifically those that take time to travel to,  and I've also added shortcuts to avoid/reduce that time loss. And I'm about 80% done with Gina's first AT. Her Transform and Mini game scenes are complete and most of her renders are done as well. I'll be trying to finish her up today, so I can start working on her next AT.

Here's what's planned for the next 6 weeks: Another Gina AT, Jesse AT 1 & 2, Diane AT, Becky AT, and the new Job. I'm keeping the list relatively short this time around to avoid overbooking myself again. Plus Becky's AT is gonna be a lot of work. Anywho...gonna get back to work...just wnated to give everyone an update.

Anne's Nympho Scenes: Since Anne starts as this...I've reduced the frequency and impact that her scenes have on Billy. Since you know...he's not to blame for her condition, unlike say...the whole Cheerleader squad. And leaving the negative consequences just seemed abusive. I've also tied her scenes to work, rather than "on arrival" since I don't want to lock a player out from getting injections, or getting first-aid.

Anne's Obsessive Scenes: For those that know how to manipulate Anne into this state...Don't expect it to last...This girl has issues :(

Globex Psych Evaluation Scenes: Now when you get a brand new power, Anne will test you for your new flaw as well. Not much gameplay...but adds a lot more flavor.

Sandra's Critical Success Classroom Scenes: Now Sandra can join the ranks with Allie and Samantha for having specific scenes for when you get a critical success in class.

Watching TV with Stephanie Extension: If you have 10 control over Maggie, and meet some of the other more obvious requirements...there's a new option for giving Stephanie a massage while you watch TV.

New Positive Alignment Mission: Operates just like the other Positive Alignment missions.

New Reputation Group - Jocks: And just like the other Positive Alignment Missions, There is a new Reputation Group you can improve with. The sporty jock types.

VERY VERY VERY LATE Weekly Update

Hey all...It''s been wayyy too long since I put out an update. I'm to blame for a good chunk of it, but some of it is legitimately not my fault. I kept pushing the weekly update back so that I could release the test build, and announce that the Test Build is finished and the next SP full update is just a few days away. But then I ran into some serious writers block. I had an issue with writing Danni. It probably has to do with the fact that I started writing Danni, right after I finished writing Anne, and thier personalities are a bit similar, so everytime I wrote Danni, she sounded like Anne, and no matter how much I tried I couldn't get Danni's voice to sound/feel right. 

Eventually I realised that Danni was talking too much. Anne has been around a while, and has things to talk about other than sex, even if sex is her favorite subject...Danni...not so much. At her age, she'd probably rely on her smarter friends to carry the conversation, and she'd just look pretty. Once I did that, it fit her well.

But that was a good week and a half of writing and re-writing before I finally was happy with the results. During this Dev Cycle, I got my covid vaccine, and the first one was a bit rough...I spent 3 days and 2 nights in bed...the second shot sent me to the hospital. I spent a week in the hospital being treated for sepsis caused by a very rare side effect. I got out of the hospital this last weekend, I did an owed livestream, and then took a day off. It was the last day I was on prescribed painkillers, and was too wonky to try and write anyways. And then since then, have been finishing the last of SP update. The test build was released earlier today...so yay!

I am sorry for how long it's been since I made an update. I was trying to use the update as announcement of release build, and after the first week...I should have just given an update that I was behind, and struggeling with writing, at least so you knew what was going on. For that...I'm sorry. I'll do better. 

Anyway...Onward and Upward!

So This means outside fixing bugs in SP, I'll be switching over to Loser. In Loser, Ive limited my refactoriing time down to a week this update, and I will not exceed that week. I'll also be doing the End of the Month stream Sunday and Monday, so that I have a day to chase to bugs in SP.

If I can address all the bugs...SP 0.44.00 should be released by Monday. Woot!

It's been over a week, and I wanted to give everyone an update on the next SP build. So let's get into it.

Here's where I'm at:

So As You can see, I finished rendering all the planned content for this update. And have moved onto a floating objective with starting work on Danni. This will be her first content update, with the next SP Update after this finishing her content and possibly adding more content to the next location I'm slated to work on.

I'm pretty excited for this cause the fewer characters on my to do list in SP, the faster I'll get to more hero stuff. After Danni, only Sophie + Coffee shop, and Courtney + Logistics Division will be left to develop before I start on the initiative, and with my new dev cycles I have noticed an increase in effeciency, since I don't have to stop as often to test builds. It will mean a slightly more intense testing phase probably, but I'll burn that bridge when I get to it :D (Probably early next week. Was planning on this weekend, but the end of the month stream is happening, so the time testing will need to be pushed back a bit to give me more time to write for Danni's content, and finish Anne's/Globex's content.)

Weekly Update

Hey Everyone...Update time!

So it's been a week since I finally released Loser. Outside of a few minor bugs that I'll probably address this weekend...The reception of 0.05.00 has been pretty positive :D I've been working on SP this last week and as of last night I've now finished Anne's Unstable state renders, and have finished writing her nympho scenes, so progress is going well. I'm gonna start working on her fetish content today.

And that will wrap up week 3 of SP, Techically week 4...but last week I only worked on SP for 2 days as I worked overtime to release Loser, so I'm not counting it. Which means I have 5 weeks left to develop Anne's fetish, and make the psyche evaluation scenes for Globex...So I expect to have some extra time left over to start working on the next voted content. Vote coming probably next week ;)

Loser v0.05.00 Released

This release has taken way too long. With a Winter storm, and a dumb back injury I can help but think that IT is out to get me. Whatever IT is. Needless to say this last month of development has been a struggle. I'm sorry for the delay. Because of the Delay I decided to cut Jesse from this release. All her images are rendered, but I really need some time to not be working on two games at the same time after the month I just had. So she'll be released in small update sometime in the future, or possibly in 0.06.00 . It depends on my feels. Right now I just know that not counting bugfixes...I'm not touching Loser for at least a week.

Auto-Refreshing Hotbars - Now whenever you enter a location that gives you access to your inventory, your hotbar will try to pull topics from your inventory are refill your hotbar as is.

Stackable Topics - Your inventory will no longer be so cluttered :D

Hotbar Toggle (TAB) - By pressing the TAB button, you can look at what you have loaded into your hotbar now.

New Wardrobe Panel: Stash - There's a new storage panel in your wardrobe if you unlock it with Disorder Rank 2 for storing all your illegal goods in. 

New Job: Drugdealer - A new job that requires Disorder rank 2. If you have items in your Stash, you can go and sell those items at a marked up rate. Only available at night in the Park.

New Location: Park - Self explanitory. You can visit the local park, and possibly run into people there...or possibly live a life of crime :o

New Character: Richard - Nathans Father has finally joined the game.

New Richard Archetype: Father - Richards starting AT.

New Richard Archetype: Career Father - Richards First Transform AT.

New Diane Archetype: Restrained Mother - Diane's newest AT in her "Vanilla Path"

New Becky Archetype: Clueless Sister - Becky's newest AT in her "Vanilla Path"

New Gina Archetype: Hot and Bothered - Gina's newest AT in her "Vanilla Path"

New Function: Lifestyles - Certain skills oppose each other, and now Nathan can embrace one to ignore the benefits, and drawbacks of the other. Each Lifestyle has a 2 week cooldown so don't try to go all willy nilly with em.

New Lifestyle: Tidyness/Laziness - You can now choose to be a neat freak or slob...or just stay somewhere in between.

New Lifestyle: Healthy/Unhealthy - You can now choose to be a Health Nut or a Wastrel...or stay somewhere in between.

Skill Updates: Healthy, Unhealthy, Tidyness, Laziness - All of these skills have had minor tweaks to fit the new lifestyle system. Noteably Laziness, and Unhealthy have gotten some improvements, but only if you've embraced them. Gotta make those drawbacks worth it somehow :D 

New Skill: Sexuality - Currently just a placeholder. I wanted you to be able to gain the xp for this skill, for when the skill is actually fleshed out, but as is, it doesn't do anything. There will be a lifestyle for this skill added in a near future update.

Weekly Update

I am alive...Sorry for going awol...I hurt my back helping my roommate out, which ended up causing an older injury in my shoulder to flare up, and for about 5 days I couldn't sleep for any serious period of time without waking up with sharp pain shooting through my collarbone and neck. I went to the doctor yesterday and got some muscle relaxers to help reduce the inflamation long enough to sleep so that my body could repair the issue...but...this last week wasn't pleasant. I have however still been working although it's been slow going. 

I'm used to foggy headed insomnia, I'm not used to plain ol' delerium, which was where I was at all weekend. Anywho...the muscle relaxers worked and I got my first 7 uninterupted hours of sleep last night. and was finally able to work on Loser some this morning...I've also been working on SP since last week, and already have Anne's Nympho scenes rendered. 

Regarding Loser...I'm almost done...I swear...Diane is a bit more complicated than I estimated, and I wasn't really able to work on her much what with the complete lack of sleep seriously messing with me. I will have her done soon...(soon being a few days).

Regarding end of the month Livestream...I normally do them on the weekend, but I'd really like to dedicate the weekend to making sure Loser is in a shipable state, So I'll be doing the end of the month stream on the actual end of the month. (Tuesday the 30th & Wednesday the 31st). So for those that know who you are...Be sure to send me your requests if I don't already know what you want made.

Weekly Update

Hey everyone...It's been a while, but there's a reason. For those that don't know, I happen to live in Texas, and spent all of last week weathering freezeing temperatures, rolling blackouts, a burst water main leading into my complex, and intermitten internet...Which is to say...I got no work done. So...I pushed my cutoff time back a week, since I wasn't actually Developing the Loser. 

Needless to say, everything is returning to normal, and I've been working on Becky for the last few days and have now finished a test build with her new AT. I still have a good amount of work left to do with Jesse AT 1 & 2, Richard AT 2, And Diane AT. 

I think Gina's 2nd AThas to be cut...I lost some serious momentum with this weather issue, and Becky has taken me a bit longer to finish than I planned, But after making Becky...I feel okay with the decision. She has the most complicated AT so far (on the backend anyways). Just her transformation alone has something like 70 images, that's twice as many images as her entire first AT :o

That also means that Gina WILL be getting two AT's in 0.06.00 since she'll be at the front of the Dev plan as well as the Support list.

So what's next?

I'll probably spend today (after I wake up...I pulled an all nighter getting Becky done) fixing bugs with Becky, and then tomorrow I start working on Jesse. She has fairly limited windows of interaction so I'm quite confident that I can finish her very quickly. After that, Richard pt.2 . I added his base AT in to make it easier to work around his schedule while work on other characters, but I need his second AT for Dianes next AT. 

So yeah...a lot to do and only 1 week and a few days to do it. Gonna be some late nights for me. For all you SP supporters...nothing has really changed since I had planned on taking a week off with the Loser release anyway. I'll just skip the planned time off in favor of the unplanned winter apocalypse. Sidenote, End of month stream is this weekend (Sat & Sun). If you're of the correct teir to do so, make sure I know what you want me to work on.

Weekly Update

So I've been working all week on Becky, and I'm coming close to finishing all her renders, Hooray :D Unfortunately it's been a bit slow due to all the party renders (they are slow going due to the amount of characters and size of the scene). But her transform scene is almost done, and the remaining scenes shouldn't take as long. I expect to be working on Jesse by the end of the week with Becky finished. There's only 2 weeks and a few days left of Loser Dev, so I'll be continueing to keep my head down and grinding away at renders and writing. Not much else to report.

Weekly update

Hello, it is now early week 4, and time for an update on my progress.

Last week I got Richard and Gina's new AT finished, and starting today I start working on Becky. Currently things are still going fairly smoothly. Gina took a touch longer than planned, but not by much, and I expected some hiccups along the way.

Weekly Update

Hello everypeoples. Just giving another end of the week update. 

In the first week I did a lot of Refactoring, and QoL improvements. I also started adding in the new Lifestyle feature.

This last week I've finished the 2 lifestyle options that I plan to add this update (more to come in future updates). I created the park location. I've given Lisa a proper store action. I've created numerous new actions and interactions that pertain to Lifestyles, or the park, and created a new job in the park. And I've created the starting AT for Richard. 

I initially planned to add two jobs, but the second job will take even more work than the first, so I've moved that to back of the line. If I have time near the end of this cycle, I'll add it in, but I'm ok with it getting cut if I can't get to it this release, and adding it in the next release. 

As of today however...I'll be starting work on Gina.

Weekly Update

This is coming out a little late, but I wanted to see how much work I got finished before the end of the first week before I started Jabbering about progress...

Here's what I've gotten done in Loser.

Finish Refactoring from the last update. 100% done. There are no more buttons using the old code in the game, and I've extracted the Archetypes to be Scriptable Objects, which makes it easier for me to work on them.  :)

Inventory and Hotbar overhaul. Done. Topics now stack in your inventory and storage, and your hotbar remembers what was in your hotbar and refills to the best of it's ability when you enter a room that allows you access to your inventory.

New Feature: Lifestyles...These allow you to embrace/reject particular skills you've picked up. For example If you're tired of Laziness reducing your stats, you can embrace Tidyness, which rejects Laziness, and gets rid of all the positive and negative bonuses from the laziness skill. Currently: Tidyness-Laziness is complete. Healthy-Unhealthy about 70% complete. More Lifestyles will be added in future updates, but I only plan to release these two in this update.

This weekend I plan to finish up the planned lifestyles and start working on a new Location The park, and begin working on adding in a new job or two.

Anywho...not bad for the first week of Dev...things are going fairly smoothly...and it won't be long before I start working on new AT's .

Changelog for 0.43.00

What's in it?

  • 3 New Jobs at Globex.
  • 1 new task
  • Learning your powers scenes
  • An updated first aid scene at globex.
  • A new Obsessive Mary variant (Terri-ish) Additional Content
  • A new Public Ops variant (Allie) Additional Content

What's it mean?

The new Jobs have minimum stat requirements as well as an introduction requirement. These Jobs are all intertwined in some ways. And most of em have a lot of variations. The third job is somewhat limited right now as I'd need Maid Manners developed to finish it...but it has a fairly limited window anyway ;)

the new task is a guide on how to get the job at Globex. All you need is an  awareness + mental of 7+ and the task will be added to your task list as optional.

Learning your powers scenes have been added to each rank of each power. That's 29 new scenes...though some scenes are shorter/more involved than others. Still...lost of stuff there if you're into the lore of the game. Some humerous scenes if you don't care about lore, and an occasional naughty scene if you can't read, or refuse to.

I've also added an actual scene for when you get first aid assistance, and this scene does change based on certain stats that are determined in the new jobs.

All and all...I made Globex a more solidified location. It has something of identity now, similar to how the school has it's own kind of identity.

Mary has a few variants of her final Obsessive scene depending on what flaws you've unlocked. A new variant starring Terri can be seen if you've gotten at least the first rank in MC.

The public ops mission for political canvassing has a new variant with Allie, if she's been reprogrammed as a personal assistant or sex bot. This scene can only occur on the weekends.

Yes. This is the last 5 week dev cycle update, and it has a lot of new content. The next SP update will be on the 2 month cycle and should finish off Anne as well as finish most of Globex. I say most of Globex, because until I start building Maid Manners character Globex won't be fully done, but that won't happen for a little while longer.  :)

Weekly Update

Hey everybody, Happy new calendar day! I released a test build earlier this week, and I plan to release another one tonight or possibly tomorrow, once I finish adding in the additional content. That means the next SuperPowered update to be released to all my Patrons should be out on Monday or Tuesday, once I've cleaned out all the bugs. 

Then I'll probably take a day off or two, and then begin working on Loser :D

Weekly Update

Hey Everybody,

Here to give a quick update. The new Globex content has been finished being rendered, and I'm now Writing everything. I expect to have a test build finished sometime this weekend. What to expect?


A scene for learning every power in game: Now rather than a single line of text after getting a shot, there's a scene where Ann walks Billy through the new power. Resutls may vary. (as seen in the attached image). I'll be adding in the psyche evaluation next update (for gaining new flaws).

3 new jobs: Unlike the school that has something for everyone, Globex will mainly focus on mental characters.  Globex will have a slightly more in depth mechanic than the school jobs as well.


That's about it. There are some features of the new jobs that won't be accessable until I start developing the Initiative, but the stage is set for that content, and I'm sure people will be happy to have a new avenue to gain money and influence. 


Side note: I'm gonna be  pushing the end of the month livestream back a few days due to Holidays. It'll be happening on next Tuesday and Wednesday on the 29th and 30th repsectively.

I've finally started working on 0.43.00.

Here's what I plan to add in this update.

  • Injection Scenes: Psychosism 1, 2, 3
  • Injection Scenes: Polymorphism 1, 2, 3
  • Injection Scenes: Mercurial Speed 1, 2, 3
  • Injection Scenes: Armor of Terra 1, 2, 3 

These scenes shouldn't take all that much work to render, but that's gonna be a lot of writing. I don't expect to finish all of it this patch, but I should get close and be able to finish it easily enough in 0.44.00 :) Regarding the Globex jobs, I plan to make them a bit more complex than the jobs you got at NCH. Well, the LAb Assistant and Administrator Jobs anyway ;)

I'm gonna Go ahead and call the vote now even though there's one day left to vote. Both results were a landslide.  It looks like I'll be changing my Dev Cycle after this next release, to 1:1 SuperPowered : Loser on an 8 week cycle. Also it looks like Jesse's vanilla branch will be the next character I develop in Loser.

SP Hotfix 0.42.02

There was still a few bool issues remaining. I believe they are fixed now. This hotfix also fixes a bug with one of Stephanies Coerced scenes trigging it's costs and effects twice, and corrects a bug that required the cheerleader reputation group to be unlocked before the nerd groups bonus would be applied  to the gossip action.

Anne's new content: Self explanitory.

New Positive Alignment Mission: Allie - Like all other positive alignment missions. You need to ahve done a certain amount of Crimefighting, either through the neighborhood watch, or from school jobs, as well as have an Alignment above 60.

New Reputation Group: Nerds - Like previous positive alignment missions, your reputation within a new group will improve, and give additional bonuses once you complete the positive mission.

New Drunk Maggie Scene - A new Scene for when Maggie comes home drunk. It will only trigger if both her and Stephanie are nymphos.

New Lunch option with Terri and Stephanie - If you have the good brother perk, and Billy and Stephanie are willing to indulge in Terri's fetish (which must also be unlocked), you can have lunch with both of them for a nice little discussion ;)

New Mischief Action: Ms. Hellens- The last and final administrative mischief action that can be performed on school staff. It has the same requirements as the other mischief actions of the Administrators wing.
