Happy Friday, updates coming this weekend

The update covers ground early in game, with 2 new animations, one with the first daisy doggy style scene (a close up) and one in the Lisa anal scene (another close up). Those are going to be added to both the .019 and the .20 versions this weekend, along with a bunch of other updates.

• Update, the new release notes for .20 include what's changed, along with download links;
• Also, the release notes are updated for the .019 version with new download links for all Guests.
• Last but not least, the VIP .21 edition was updated as well. VIP Guests can download the updated .21 and everybody can read the release notes which are updated in this Patreon post with the download links.  

I'm going to continue working through newer content, and begin rendering the next scene this weekend now that I have everything mapped out, and I've scratched my itch of updating some of the things in the earlier parts of the game that really needed improvement. Ten renders in total were updated, along with some other changes, and a bunch of new two frame animations were updated as well. I think it makes the earlier parts of the game a lot more fun.

New Guest Updates: .019 for all, .20 for Special Guests

Her Heart's Desire .21 Update Release Notes & Download Links

The earliest release on Patreon is the .23 edition, get the links in this post along with the release notes. 

What's new in the .21 Her Heart's Desire Edition last updated May 27th?

• 63 new full HD renders; 
• More than 30 animations; 
• New scene in replay gallery with Daisy and MC in a hotel room
• Story up through Day 5 sunset / evening with Daisy & MC after the picnic at the park finishes up
• Quality of life improvements including a notification for love score improvements in the upper right corner of the screen;
• Multiple new two-frame animations sprinkled throughout earlier content to improve the feel of the interactions (everything is *far* more interesting now, even the scene with Daisy puking has a few two frame animations that make it just so much better!).
• PLUS: four new animations, two in the latest Daisy + MC scene (one for each path) and then one for an earlier Daisy + MC scene doggy style; and a close up of Lisa + MC anal.
• Also 10+ older renders have been edited, removed, or replaced with better versions, some rewriting has been done in earlier parts of the game, as well as multiple new two frame animations.
• Final - final - update June 25th: backported a few nickname issues, other variable changes, and more text to ensure continuity for the endings that are coming soon.

Animation previews live on Discord for all patrons

I've had an amazing amount of support pour in from people the last few months and wanted to say thanks for everything. Recently, I've had some family challenges, and ended up wiping out my entire life savings.

As a gorilla in his mid forties, it's scary to see everything you worked for just disappear. Now I'm carrying some credit card debt for the first time in a while, and just hoping things don't get worse. Health issues mean I stay locked up in a bubble and work remotely, so no worries there.

The distraction though when it just goes poof, it's a real thing. If you can help by writing a review, sharing my game on social media, or supporting my endeavors that would be an incredible gift in my time of struggle. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on making Her Heart's Desire an incredible game, and it improves every release.

The .21 coming soon also has quality of life improvements that go all the way back to the very beginning; I've been working hard on anything people point out that could be improved, as well as making an epic amount of animation for the new update. It looks *spectacular* and all the patrons can see it in the #basic channel on Discord here.

Dev progress on .21 Update

It's been a few days, but I'm confident today I'll be rendering the last of the current animated scene. For the .21 there are two sets of animations, depending on your preferences. This is a lot more work than the "extra," portion of the scene in .20 where there were a few animations beyond the standard if your preferences matched. 

Bonus, if you play twice, you can have a different experience, on the downside, if you like a game where one playthrough = everything, the last two updates change that. Feedback on this appreciated, as I'd like to ensure I can make the same kinds of tradeoffs, for the same reasons, when I work on the next project later this summer.

Her Heart's Desire Version .21 in progress

If you've already played .20, you know how the current .21 is setup. That is continuing, and I'm keeping my goal of shipping an update in similar size to .20 later this month. There are 47 static images in the next update, a few smaller two frame animations, and the first 30 frame animation in progress right now.

I'll be posting up a poll soon for the content that comes after the scene in progress :) 

There is at least one preview images for all patrons in the discord in the Basic channel, if you've signed up there. If not the link is here if you want to join the Discord community.

HHD Access Update for Guests: Version .019 and .20

For those who just got into the .20 especially am curious what you think about the latest. I think it was a fun scene ;) and I'm excited you'll get to enjoy it soon.

.21 later this month: work started :)

So after the .20 update what's next? Well, .21 of course. The amount of content overall will be similar (you'll see a theme here...) as I'm wrapping up the game in the next few months.

If you played the .20 update, you might have a sense of where I'm trying to "push," let's say, the overall experience. Better? I thought so - but you'll be the judge when you play through that content.

I'd forgotten about my first attempt at a project under this label, Big Chungus Productions, until I saw somebody point out that it's not abandoned, it's canceled. Yep. That game won't ever happen - I'm referring to Magical Restart. I learned a ton and whelp, animated fairies and depth of field over some daz assets to create the world's slowest most boring magic effect animation...was boring as shit, honestly.

Her Heart's Desire - what's good?

Animations for certain, and the hotness of some scenes...plot, story, emotional impact isn't really the caliber I'm aiming for however. What we have is a fun, nonsensical romp through a mediocre writer's mid life crisis. I mean, if you've seen Falling Down, which kind of experience is better? The Michael Douglas one, frankly, was disturbing. This one is cheesy and will be only more so as we cruise through the content.

Hey everybody, thanks for following my page! As usual, after the subscribers get teh update, then it'll eventually go public for free in a week. The download links for .20 are available here in this post; read on below for update details.

What's new in the .020 update?

• After the events of Day 5 morning, MC arrives home (or never left, depending on your choices) and is in the mood for some brunch. Daisy interrupts him with a proposition - how about lunch in the park? Refuse, well, you skip basically the new content of the update. Accept her invitation, and day 5 afternoon ensues with special time between you and your tenant.
• 100+ new Full HD images
• 15+ new animations (depending on choices) lots of smaller ones as well)
• 1 new replayable scene in the gallery
• Altered a previous scene in the yoga studio to skip if preferences aren't met
• Improvements to code, bugs, memory management to ensure animations work seamlessly across a wider range of computers, and miscellaneous script improvements.
• Updated May 28th; includes two new animations, one for an earlier Daisy + MC scene doggy style; and a close up of Lisa + MC anal.
• Also 10+ older renders have been edited, removed, or replaced with better versions, some rewriting has been done in earlier parts of the game, as well as multiple new two frame animations.
• Final update June 17th: backported a few nickname issues, other variable changes, and more text to ensure continuity for the endings that are coming soon.

Basic Guests June 12th; now open to all patrons. To be updated on June 19th with latest edits and other improvements.

Updates have been every 2-3 weeks the last few months, so time between updates overall is pretty short at the moment. Future updates to be at least monthly.

Thought I'd make this public; I'm shipping the .20 update of Her Heart's Desire later today, and if you know of any bugs, areas for improvement, etc, please drop a note. I've got time before I push the update to the cloud, and am attempting to validate the "game freeze," on some computers with not enough memory due to the high amount of animations in the game.

Game Updates for Basic Guests, Special Guests Today

I wrote up a short note in Discord but wanted to make sure it's here as usual, and share an update on the game, how things are going. For starters, Basic Guests (and all others) can download the .018 update, get the links to download here. Special Guests (link restricted to Special, VIP) can download the .019 update here. 

For the .20 update this weekend, it'll be a chunk of what was going to be later this month since I'm trying to ship updates twice a month now with new content, as a complete scene, animation, sound, code, etc, takes about two weeks.

So what's in the next release?

• 74 new images; Daisy is the focus of all the content in the update
• Story continues day 5 afternoon;
• 300+ animated frames for longer animations, and multiple shorter animations earlier in the content.
• Replayable in the scene gallery with MC / Daisy;
• New sound effects (pending);
• Potentially additional animation on some older scenes; preview images available to all patrons on Discord in the Basic Guest channel.

.20 Update Progress Early Availability May 10th

Hey all, as you might be aware, I'm a fan of feedback; so how does a game developer like me get more feedback faster?

Well, you don't *have* to download it, but in about a week (maybe sooner, we'll see) I'm going to ship the first half of the .20 update - the second half will be later this month, but I thought since I'm making some quality of life changes (older animation included, etc) it makes sense to ship an update earlier than planned, gather feedback, and then ship the regularly scheduled update.

Once I get closer I'll share the fix it list and the new content details. Until then, if you got requests, shout.

Good morning perverts! If you haven't joined the discord, there's more content, a little more preview, etc, and you don't have to be a supporter to access (though of course, there's more content if you are a current paid Guest for my page).

As usual, this week there's another game update cascade Thursday for the .018 version, and the .019 version. After those two is the .20 version, which is in active development, and from a static image perspective, is about 35% of the way toward completion. Animation wise, it's not as far along, but my process is to finish static images for a given scene before I move on to the animation.

There was a mention recently of sharing animated extra content that wasn't yet in the game from previous scenes, which I've got on my list to update. Also if you have any feedback on the game, here or elsewhere, feel free to share. It doesn't mean I'll make those changes, but without knowing where things are weak, what could be improved or which parts you don't like, I don't have a clear understanding of what to prioritize (other than new development, which is always on-going).

Thanks for your interest in my games, and even if you don't sign up here or on Discord, please share them, write reviews, or talk about them online. The more chatter, feedback, & buzz, the more likely I can keep doing this for as long as ya'll enjoy what I'm making. 

Last week, I bought another $100+ USD worth of assets from the Daz store, and I have more in mind I'd like to get to improve scene quality, locations, outfits, and more, but that requires resources. Life to date, I've spent more on game dev than I've made, which is fine, but it results in lower quality than I believe I could create, given a larger budget, more assets & resources.

.20 Update Preview: Picnic at the Park

Working on the next update, and I have been crafting a new scene for the main character and Daisy, since they haven't had any quality time together just the two of them in a few days. :) 

For this one, I've got an idea to make the scene a little more interesting, though it'll take some work, which will be customizing some of the animated parts of the scene depending on previous choices and preferences. That means if you want to see this particular scene with each version, you'd have to play through the game more than once from much earlier on. 

Personally, this way I get to experiment with a few different animations and then everybody gets a little bit of their own personal, from the game so far, preference into the scene. A win all around.

Update cascade for supporters; .20 progress :)

Hey all, happy Friday!!! I had a headache yesterday, which was why the delay last night in getting the links modified for ya'll. I did post in Discord (not sure if everybody here is there, or just most) but either way, next time I'll make sure I post here too with the details.

.019 available for Deluxe, and VIP now; .018 is available for Plus Guests (or above) and Basic Guests can only get the .017 Final until next Thursday, which is when Basic Guests will be able to download the .018 version.

Next week, I'll have a small teaser available for VIP, including the additional animation in an update to address a few issues (lemme know if you see possible improvements) mainly related to attempting to address a memory issue some folks reported. If your computer has a higher end GPU, I'm sure you haven't noticed, but lower end PCs have stuck on the animation b/c the app runs out of memory. There is a fix, it just takes a little bit of time.

Scene in progress right now for day 5 afternoon is MC and Daisy, only :) It's going to be a fun one.

Existing scenes, add in more animations?

There are a few scenes I've already got animations rendered - I could add those to the game, or not, depending. I think for a scene or two, I thought "hey would this look good?" and then added another animation, and then ultimately didn't put it into the game.

What are your thoughts? If the scenes are already animated & good, do you think it's not needed? 

Second and related question to this: there are some scenes were I could easily add more animation with different speeds (code change = very easy to do); would this be good? Or not? Any particular scenes you'd want to see changed like this?

Last but not least, work continues with Daisy & MC for the day 5 scene I have in progress. If folks want the animations updated, I could ship a modified version with those fairly quickly. Just need to know that it's something people want.

Three More Monthly Updates for Her Heart's Desire?

Hey all, happy Monday. I've got a plan for the remaining updates for Her Heart's Desire, and based on the most recent poll among everybody, the most popular ideas were more scenes with the primary characters (and some others, but with the .019 update, Tricia has a fair amount of content now, and nobody voted for Elizabeth, lol).

Today I'm working through script updates, and of course rendering for the next .20 update. Next weekend, I'll have a better idea of where things will land, and then I'll be sharing a poll as well for content. 

Between now & then, most of you have joined the discord but if you haven't, there's extra stuff there, and I'm always reachable either here or there if you have questions, comments, or suggestions.

To ensure the game has a satisfying finale, it could be that producing the last animated scenes will take some extra so there's a chance the last update will be August or September. We'll see.

• About 150 static images, and maybe the most animation in any given update? Dunno, it's  a lot though.
• There are three new scenes in the replay feature for this update, and two of the three scenes feature three characters in the animated scenes.

HHD Update Tomorrow for All Supporters :)

I won't always have content early but I've been busy lately trying to finish up things, improve stuff, and generally create something epic. Maybe? Maybe.

Tomorrow, VIP guests will get a first crack at the .019 update (yep, a few weeks earlier than the initial schedule) and then there will be a cascade of other updates for supporters, and there will be something new for everybody.

It won't be the whole .019 update but I wanted to ship something to get feedback and of course to say "You rock!"

All patron poll: Smoke 'em if you got 'em

Hey all, I'm going to have the .019 update early (woohoo!) this weekend, with either planned content - or extras :) - included Sunday, April 24th. That means every tier of supporters will get something a little earlier than today's schedule; isn't that awesome?

August / September will be the finale of Her Heart's Desire, between now and then, there's a bunch more story, scenes, animations...and fun to pack into the game.

Characters who need more screen time...here's the list, if you're super excited about getting more of "Character X," let us all know, that way I make sure not to ignore things ya'll really want (naturally if nobody cares I've already got a plan so no worries there).

Last but not least, those who haven't had a sexy time scene will be at least one per my existing plan (otherwise, they wouldn't be in the game, ha!) however if there are characters you really want as much as possible from...well, those are the ones you should vote for.

Day 5 morning started, .019 alpha testing plan

Now that I've got the animations going and scene written through day 5 morning with Rose, you'll see she wears a cheerleader costume in the scene. For the alpha update, there's already over 130 stills, and 500 animation frames...hm, maybe 20 animations between the two scenes, with variations including camera angles and speeds.

For patrons at the highest level on discord there are several animation preview images, and in other channels I've posted some content not shared here on Patreon.

Updated Game Schedule, Newly Unlocked Downloads

I've updated what version which patrons can download, and making this public so everybody can see (especially if you're on the fence about supporting...come on, you know you want to) :)

• Special, Deluxe, and VIP Guests can download the .018 Alpha Edition here; 
• Regular and Plus Guests can download the .017 Final Edition here (fully animated, etc with everything included). Plus Guests will be able to download the .018 Alpha Edition on April 21st.
• Basic Guests can download the .017 Special Edition (no animations, but does contain the special image gallery feature, and the initial relationship change edits), next week, they'll be able to download the .017 Final Edition.

Reminder that on Discord there's always more information, you can ask me questions, send messages, etc or discuss the game with other supporters. The next VIP update will be in about a week and a half, around the 24th of April, and you can read more about what's coming next in the game in this post here. 

More details on the May HHD Update

While I'm creating new content for the game, I figured I'd share something about the scene in progress with Elizabeth, Tricia, and MC. Features two different poses so far first with Tricia / MC, and then with Elizabeth / MC.

Once the animations are all done, it'll be time to switch gears for the day 5 morning scene, which is next on the list for the update. After that, I've actually written out the updates for June, July, and August as well.

Those, as mentioned on Discord, will be the "final*" updates to the game, and conclude the story. 

* While I say final, what I mean is that story will be finished, and have at least two endings, which will also round out the tags listed on the Patreon page (as there are a few not yet in the game).

So if there are expectations you have of those last three updates...hey, make requests now :) 

.019 Progress, Release Date

To make sure I've got enough meaningful content in the new update, I'm aiming at .019 alpha to be ready at the latest May 1st. There may be an earlier release with partial content, TBD, but the full update should be ready then, if not earlier.

What's in the plan and what's done so far

• Day 4 night, with 70+ new images with Tricia and Elizabeth after the end of .018;
• Day 5 morning 3+ animations for a new threesome scene with all three love interests; will be a "flashback," scene with Rose depending on preferences; will explain just how Daisy and Lily prepared for the threesome scene on Day 5, takes place day 3 of the game but is shared on day 5 morning by Rose to MC as she relates the story.
• More static images to round out the story for the above, and content into the morning of day 5 with Rose and MC.

Another week or so, I'll have a poll together for some aspects of what's going into the update and potential choices for the MC. 

New Discord Server Integration Today

I've set it up this morning, not finished, but functional I think as I had a few people sign up already right after I got the integration working :) Click here to join, it's open to the public, at some point there will be role restricted channels for previews.

Episode .019 In Progress, Tentative Plans :)

After the .018 update, obviously, there are some story lines clearly apparent that should continue...depending on the choices made, of course. So how does .019 kick off? Well, right where you'd expect - again, depending on your choices.

Scenes planned for the .019 episode so far include:

• Day 4 evening / night: Elizabeth, MC, and Tricia dinner, and group scene with animation
• Day 5 morning: Rose wakes up with MC, shares a story about how Dee, Lily, and her got ready for certain activities in the game...:)
• After those two, we'll see - I have a list of ideas, but those are the two scenes that are definitely going to be included given continuity of the storyline from the previous episode.

Hope you've having a great week, reminder the animated edition is the only one now, and every week there will be an update (either the Alpha moves through the ranks, or if there are bugs, I'll update, patch, and then release the improved version for the same folks).

.018 Update, Full Release Notes & Patron Links

What's in the .018 update?

• Updated since launch on May 8th;
• Bug fixes, a few preference related scenes, and other improvements.
• More than 65,000 words now - a good sized novel worth of story
• Day 4 afternoon, a scorching new scene with Lily, Daisy, and MC - the first group session with more than 50 stills, and 17+ animations (depending on your preferences in game, you may see some, all, or even none...)
• Day 4 evening, a date with Tricia, where there are 70 images and 11+ animations in the scene with a BDSM / voyeur theme.
• 5 new sound effects
• Partial rewrite of the script to date to edit out excessive mentions of the protagonists name, and instead, uses the specific nicknames that are set in the earlier part of the game.
• Easy access to the new characters screen, with changes for relationships with the 3 primary love interests, as well as 3 bonus galleries (2 new for this update) which are automatically playing slideshows of unique images that were specifically created for the new gallery feature.
• As usual, the two new fully animated scenes are accessible to replay via the menu in the left hand side as you play the game or reload from a previous save.
• Numerous bug fixes, edits, and improvements.
