There are some small changes to the cheerleader due to an issue I had with rendering all the necessary bits for sexy time, ha. "Her female parts were off color," just sounds weird, but that's the issue I had in a nutshell.

Now though, everything looks incredible (really, the skin for the black haired woman is HD and looks very hot when she's naked, trust me). 

I'm on the third new scene since the .014 version, and plan to do a small update the end of this week, which might not include new animation, just static renders + story.

I bought new clothes, a few other things, and plan to get a few more locations sooner than later as well, which will make their way into the .015 / .016 update.

.014 Her Heart's Desire Game Update Details

After much delay, here's the release notes. Tomorrow, I'll begin work on the next update, as there's a lot which was planned, and not yet developed.

Her Heart's Desire .014 includes:

• Basic or Animated version links
• For patrons at the (level), find the download links for the version with 30 FPS animations here. 
• For all other patrons, get the Basic version download links here.
• 100 brand new full HD renders 
• No new soundtracks, or sound effects in this version
• 1 new adult scene with Daisy + MC, also added to the Replay gallery
• The animated version includes 8 new 30 FPS animations, and the Basic version has 2 frame animations that are similar.

Special Guest Deluxe and VIP patrons can download the animated version in this post from the links included; Regular Guests and Special Guests can both download the Early Access version here in this post.

Also, for VIP patrons, the next animation poll will be launching in three days, same time as the Basic version will be available to remaining patrons.

.014 Dev Update, New ETA July 19th

There are 8 animations in the new release in progress, and now 78 renders spread across four scenes, so far; one new scene for the Replay feature with Daisy / MC.

I am working on it daily, and think it'll be better if there's more content, at least to a point of finishing the dramatic arc I'm in the middle of creating. After this, the next .015 update will take about two weeks, and have a lot more content, both animations + renders.

To finish the update, I still have at a minimum the sound effects for the animated scene, as well as selecting music tracks for the scene, either current music, or finding a few new songs. I think something new, for the new location in the map, would be fitting.

Her Heart's Desire .014 Coming Soon :)

Am actively working on the update, noticed a bug (I think) with a missing animation...is there a missing animation in the version .013c that you've tried? Not 100% if it was a bug in the file that deleted something, OR an actual missing animation video. If it was missing, it's now fixed.

If it wasn't broken, well the good news is the update will have it working as well and it won't suddenly become broken.

While the last three weeks I've had a lot on my plate personally (moving across state lines, and hundreds of miles, packing, ouch, my back, etc, takes a lot of time & effort). Settled in, and the new home office is just as productive as the old one at last ;)

So yes, any & all bug reports appreciated as usual, but especially now on the eve of when new content will be arriving.

Dev Update, New Daisy MC Scene details :)

There are six animations so far, with another one rendering, and another one (maybe more, but I think one more should be it) to round out the whole scene. Daisy and MC, by request, start the day together on the third day of the game.

Today I've converted the still frames to videos, and then I'll convert them to the color-adjusted format for Ren'py for this scene. 

Everything is setup in my office now after Friday's much delayed final assembly of my desks. It's rough working on the ground, instead of in a proper chair. Neck still hurts from getting a crink in it, ha.

I expect the Daisy / MC scene to be wrapped up today or tomorrow, early; after that, it's on to the next couple scenes with less animation. I'll post an update once I get closer to the release day to give you a sense of what's going to be in it.

Dev Update, Poll Results

There were two characters who stood head & shoulders over the others in the polls. As many of you can probably guess, the patron favorites were the brunette with the shoulder length hair for the publisher role, and the redheaded cheerleader. 

For the past week, work has been really slow and little progress has been made on the game. I wanted to share that in case you wonder when the update happens in about a week, why there wasn't a ton more content. 

What's the reason for the slowdown? 

I just moved five hundred miles...like that song, "I would walk 500 miles just to be the man..." etc. Most of my life is in boxes, and the monitor is perched precariously on top of a stack of moving boxes yet to be unpacked.

The fantastic news is I'm settled in (sort of) after a few days, and I'm not moving again for a long time - if ever. I think I'll stay here, moving can be a little rough.

Animations + other items are going forward for day 3 in game, and armed with another half dozen characters, we've got much closer to a full cast...except for one, critical person.

Eric the Antagonist. 

Like other central characters, you can rename Eric. ;) Later this month, patrons will again have the opportunity to pitch in and help mold a few aspects of this critical character.

Okay, break's over, back to work for me. Hope you had a wonderful holiday if, like us Americans, you just celebrated independence day.

Day 3 continues, progress on .014

Thanks everyone for participating in the polls; if you haven't, they'll be open until July 4/5th, at which point they'll close and I need to start rendering the scene(s) with some future characters.

At present, I'm on the morning, which will have Daisy greet the MC in different ways, depending on how the relationship has progressed so far. It'll be the fourth animated scene with our lead character.

I'll have preview animation for some tiers available in the next day or so.

Everybody poll: who's the favored of 'em all?

Updated again...but the woman with the votes wasn't changed :) Only the other two MILF options.

I've shared a few polls for select patrons, and now's the time to share the ultimate battle royale poll, where ya'll get to vote multiple times for the women that impress you from the line up the most. 

It's fun being able to get feedback on my creations this way, I'm digging it. 

To start with, we've got the MILFS: artificially scary dye job versus the "business only," haircut on the right.

Then, we've got the lineup of 19 year old women who desperately want the chance to shake their pom-poms for us, and then maybe get one of their massage therapists "special treatments." Now we're talking right? Woof. Left to right, we've got a darker skinned model, a pale black haired beaut, and a bonnie red head.

Which will take the title of "shakes it the most," in upcoming editions of our epic landlord saga?

It'll be patron only and I'm going to setup a special poll for higher tier patrons to get their take aside from a general patron poll about the new potential characters.

I'm not certain this is the final lineup, but there's something interesting about each of the characters (even though there are specific differences in skin, and the far left model is the stock base, instead of a specific character base. Seems to land in similar space in the end though.

Updated Cheerleader and Secretary outfit test

Updated to add a second cheerleader...still creating test variations :)

Technically the outfit on the right is a "secretary," bundle, but I was considering it for the publisher (name still TBD). On the left, maybe it's easier to imagine she's a cheerleader now with theme appropriate attire, rather than lingerie.

I'm going to do a few more characters + tests before I create the poll here for the options. These two are good enough to join a line up now, I think.

Patron poll upcoming: new character(s) for HHD

While we're all in love with Daisy, Rose, and Lily...there are already hints that we'll have another cast member - or two - on the horizon. With that in mind, I've been working through a few character concepts, and will be sharing them in a poll in the next few days for patrons to vote on.

Attached is the first of a few concepts, this is a MILF that would be the publisher contact Chad has for his novel. He'd meet her in an upcoming business meeting.

Her Heart's Desire .013c Game Update

Hey everyone; 

Further notes below original release announcement details.

Without further ado, here's the release notes & what changed:

• Finishes day 2 in game; story progression with all three main love interests
• 160+ new renders in full HD
• Scenes with Rose and Lily (fully animated)
• Brand new Scene Replay for all six animated scenes
• Massive animation improvement to every scene; game now has 70 different animations in the /videos/ folder if you poke through the code, and of course a lot of smaller animation as well.
• Six thousand words+ of new story / content
• Five new music sound tracks to add variety to the new scenes
• Four new erotic sound effects for the animated scenes
• Update June 25th: Re-encoded videos to better match Ren'py color space; should enable improved transitions from video to still image + back for all animated scenes. Also updated Nicknames, titles to lower case; let me know if there are any that are exceptions and need upper case instead.
• Updated June 23: adds bad ending, if enough bad love points are accumulated, and lowers the volume on the intro video.

Animation Improvements Should Finish Today for .013

Hey everybody - 

Hard at work over the last few days. Every animation in the game I've done the following:

• Convert from frame based to video
• Optimized frame count via Dain (AI software to increase frame rate)
• Replaced in code older frames with new video file & transition for seamless experience (in progress)

Once all the animation is replaced today, I have debugging, text & code review, and then a final play test to ensure everything is solid for the .013 version.

We hit a nice milestone over the weekend as well, with more than a thousand still images in the next update, and now 70 unique high quality animations, all of which if you're lazy when you download the new update, you can play through in a video :)

The Scene Replay feature is also working, pending adding the latest animated scene to the feature (it works for the first five animated scenes already).

.013 Update Progress: Lily scene

In which our hero, after a very long day two, has a chance to finish his night by getting a good massage. How do we know it's good?

Well, Lily shares a bit about herself, reveals what she does for work...and why she's good at making people feel stress relief when she touches them. Also explains how she could be so good as to teach Daisy how to give a nice massage as well ;)

The scene will have animation, one is finished, a second is in progress, and overall there will be probably 4+ in the scene. After this scene is finished, and some more rewrites, bug fixing, sound editing, etc then the original scope for the next update will be met, and it'll be time to ship it to ya'll!

Anticipating that will happen in the next three days, earlier than the scheduled update of June 24th.

Day 2 is (nearly) over

Thirty-five thousand plus words. Almost a thousand unique renders. Five incredible, animated adult scenes with immersive, custom sound effects. 

A good start. 

What's up next: well, day 2 night time of course, a scene with Lily...last but not least, as she's the only one of the three main characters without an animated scene that'll end up in the Replay feature.

Another Chance at a First Impression: Edits Inbound ;)

Due to the speed at which I was obsessively crafting - everything - for the last month, there's been a few mistakes made. I've corrected a lot, but there are still some pending which haven't been addressed - until now :)

A story issue or two, in addition, the neighborhood being completely absent when Daisy arrives, to the lack of "see through," on the very first render, to the trip for lunch which, to use a phrasing found on a forum, "seemed like it was the missing Mortal Kombat level."

I did play early MK back in the 90's ;) and that phrase gnawed at me in no small way, as the thing is, you get a lot from the first impressions in a game. 

So those are planned fixes, along with perhaps others, and with that in mind if you got ideas, suggestions, issues, bugs, or what not, lemme have it. The goal is to make the best game experience possible within the context of building relationships with your house guests as a landlord, in whatever way you'd like to go.

The image here too I think is a better fit for Daisy's personality in the game. 

ETA on this & other updates? Between now and June 24th, at the latest. That way you have time if you haven't played, or bug hunted, please do it now...as I'll need time to incorporate any additional changes.

There are two new animations (so far) for the next update; one with MC & Rose kissing that I shared a picture from, and now this one in progress, with Lily grinding on MC.

I'm happy with the way the main character's face is taken out of the scene here too, without it seeming unnatural.

Her Heart's Desire: .012c Update Download Free

Thank you patrons very much for the support & encouragement! The latest build has enough meat that I know you'll want to sink your teeth in right away.

What's new & awesome in Her Heart's Desire?

• Updated text from the entire .012 previous version; there's probably a dozen or so things that were improved, polished, misspelled, etc - those are fixed thanks to a few fearless volunteers - thanks all!
• 5,000 (five thousand) words of new copy covering multiple new scenes with the cast
• 154 new full HD renders across multiple scenes on day 2;
• 9 new 30 FPS animations across two brand new adult scenes that are so hot, your monitor might melt ;)
• 5 new erotic sound effects that accompany the two new animated adult scenes.
• Updated, fixed reported bug with dialogue that didn't reflect choices from the diner scene with Jen + Daisy.

Sounds good, right?

She might not be the prettiest, but...;)

Turns out, some assets render a *lot* faster than others. Order of magnitude, sometimes. Take this restroom for example. It's a lighter asset than others I've used in the game, so renders take about a minute - two minutes max for closer up stuff.

With that in mind, I was like, "What if Daisy goads MC into trying something with the waitress? And what if she's up for it?"

Also I've seen other games where basically every woman in the game has sex - literally - at some point along the way. The scene will be skippable, and totally optional, won't "cost," anything along the road to a satisfying relationship with any of the house guests.

Three animations complete, at least two more pending; though I might play one or two at a faster speed for the scene in addition to a slower speed, similar to other animations in the game so far.

In addition to the scene list shared before, my goal is to ensure each character has an animated scene in the next update, which will also include the Scene Replay feature. I'm not 100% if it'll have the image gallery, but it's on my list to do sooner than later.

Her Heart's Desire v0.013: Update June 24th Plan

The next version is v0.013, for which I've got a scene list, and the first of three animated sex scenes will be finished today. 

The basic outline, if you're curious what's in store for next time, is this:

Episode .013 Sneak Preview: Day 2 afternoon

Working on the first of many scenes for the next update...Daisy, if your love score is high enough, waits patiently for MC to arrive next to her room after the new House Guests leave.

Are you excited yet? I definitely am!

• Introducing Rose and Lily (names changeable, as usual) relationship customizable, in similar style as Daisy.
• Ten thousand words of brand new story, updates & improvements to all previous copy as well to make sure everything is perfect.

Edits based on feedback about the two other House Guests that will be joining Chad and Daisy in the next update :)

I thought they were there before, but I did agree, they weren't as good as they could be previously. Now I love all three of them equally, he he he. I'm sure Chad will too - or whatever you name your character.

Morning on day two with Daisy :) Game Update

Thought I'd write a quick note; am working through new content after finishing the music selection for the script written (so far) that people got a preview of in the earliest alpha .01 version.

It's been rewritten and with the Extras & non-extras path (difference being the larger, 30 FPS animations are in the Extras version only) the game so far contains 22 thousand words; a little over six thousand since the update earlier this week, the .011 update that fixed a number of things.

What's left before the update on Friday / Saturday this week?

• More new renders, story;
• There's already about 10 new animations in game; multiple play at various speeds, and they are smoking hot.
• Sourcing sound for the other two naughty activities in the new animations, as I like the scenes to have both music + sound as well as the animation, it's a far richer experience.

This is the first still of a 30 FPS animation I'm adding to the next update this weekend.

There will be a few more animations after this, it's just the first in the series. Daisy didn't get to blow out a candle (yet...) so I'd like to make sure she gets her chance.
