Hi legends, just want to thank you for your patience with the orc biker mob. July was a massive month filled with designing lots of cool miniatures for you, and I'm not quite finished with the biker mob. Do not worry, if you were a subscriber during July, you will get this set without a doubt! It will be added to your library when it is finished in a few days. We would all much rather a release be a touch late, with lots of nice details included, than a set that is rushed out. There are some really fun details in this set, including a high tech brakes system made from a wrench! There are 3 bikes and you can put any weapon on any bike, swap wheels, customise your ride with all the spike bars, swap any front window part, each rider can swap any head, any body, some are holding two handlebars, some are holding a weapon which can be swapped too. In addition to this, this is biker mob A. There will be at least biker mob B which will be completely compatible with this one. Also each one has a thunder runt. These can be attached to any bike.
As far as releases for August, these will include a full set of detailed coastal bases perfect for the dredge (or any faction), the insidious dredge caster, and more speedy vehicles for the orcs. Just let me get biker mob A from July finished, and then we'll have some updates on the August releases. Cheers mates.
Just want to show you how the orc bikers mob is coming along. These will be the second reward for all Legends subscribed during July. This image shows a work in progress shot of one of the bikers from this set, and his 'thunder runt'. Each biker will have a thunder runt sidekick doing something crazy. All the spikes are optional. One super cool thing about this release is that it's the first kit in a new dedicated orc faction of road warriors. More info to come on that. I have a bit more work with the details on this set before it is finished, so I better get back to it!
Hi mates, it is finally time to release the kraken… I mean this huge multipart set of DREDGE MARINE WARRIORS! I want to thank you for your legendary patience, this is a colossal set for me and you’ve been so good to wait while I perfect it. I wanted to give you the ultimate dredge marine set. You can make so many variations with this and I strived to make sure that, even with so much customisation, the poses remained awesome and dynamic. Some of my favourite parts from this set are the shark fist, the angler fish head and the dredgeling hiding in the shoulder pad. Check the assembly instructions on the product page, there is a lot you can do with this set. I hope you love it.
Announcements:
I am now back onto the multipart orc bikers and they’ll be out this month too. Very excited to be designing some scrappy junk machines with crazy greenskins.
Next month there will be some dredge accessories and bases, as well as dredge heroes and for the green boyz, something I’m very excited about, ‘da ultimate profit-boss’!
Your files will be sent to you via MMF invitation. If there is ever any problem with your invite, just send a quick DM and we'll sort it out.
I also want to remind you legends again, that you are welcome to join the Mezgike discord. I am active there and approachable every day and the people in our growing community are just top-tier, kind and helpful humans.
One more thing. Help Mezgike grow by posting photos of your printed and painted minis. If you love the miniatures I'm making for you, spread the word and tell everyone about it. The more Mezgike grows the better it gets.
Hi mates, thank you so much for being so patient with this month's releases. The multipart dredge marine kit is absolutely huge and has taken a little longer than expected, to get all those cool details finished. Like this example; some dredge marines opt to take a blood bag, which they feed off like a parasite. Putting the finishing touches on these and they will be in your library in a couple more days. Then I will be finishing off the biker boyz! Stay tuned Thanks matez.
July, innit. What we've got coming up this month is awesome. Multipart dredge marines and multipart orc bikers. I love multipart kits. If you're new here, we normally have our first release in the middle of each month and the second release at the end of the month. Also working on getting the next loyalty reward up, which is a sinister dark lord.
Also, if you use any Phrozen products here's a 15% discount code to use on their webstore: 22PRMIDP15
Also, a reminder that if you're not already, you are welcome to join the Mezgike Discord here https://discord.gg/Dv3WWWn I know I don't often post a lot here on Patreon and Tribes, but that's so I don't clog up your inboxes. I am reachable almost every day on Discord, so it's a good place to ask me questions or see what's coming up. Plus there are a lot of bloody good people in there.
G'Day mates, just in the nick of time, we have the final release for June, da good boyz - go and give them a good tummy scratch right away, ya legends!
You just can’t have an orc army without including your best friends. And these adorable little red monsters are absolutely ‘orc’s best friend’! They’re the goodest boyz, too. Grab this set of 10 unique good boyz to either include in your runt mobs, your grunt mobz, your warboss, your vehicles or terrain. You can use them as stand-alone miniatures or as a conversion pack to add flavour to your other orc miniatures. Brimming with character, one of these little fellas is fetching a space marine arm, one is rolled on his back waiting for a tummy scratch, one has just dug up his bone, one is chasing his tail, once is delivering the dakka and some are even relieving themselves!
Next month will be the biggest month of releases yet. We have a massive multipart set of Dredge marines, so you can pose them and arm them however you like - melee, meltas, icon bearer, new champion, new heads, the works. For the greenskins we have the same kind of multipart set, but for biker boyz! Don't miss next month, it's going to be epic.
Righto, sorry about that mix up mates. You need to re-download the supported folder. We now how 3 port side screws and 2 port side gears, as well as 3 starboard side screws and 2 starboard gears. Apologies for the mix up, but all fixed and tested.
IMPORTANT: Mates I'm really sorry but there's a mistake with the sea grub. Please don't print the screws yet. I'm updating the file. If you have printed them, I'm really sorry, you'll have to print them again when I re-upload the part. They don't use a lot of resin so it's not too bad. I'll let you know when they're fixed. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Righto Legends, check your email. You should now have been sent your invite to download this month's monstrous tank and start printing and painting it up. Made some instructions to help you assemble it. Now we're onto the orc release which is just around the corner. Don't forget, next month is orc bikers and multipart dredge marines with all the options.
In most Dredge assaults, the deafening thunder of a foreign ocean crashing down is all around you. As the heretics rip a hole through your sky, a portal connects you to their rotten sea world. Invasion is imminent. In deep continental gorgeways light years away, a colony of sea grub destroyer tanks send deathly ordinance from their abyss-shaker mortars through the portal, to rain down on you from your own sky. After their initial bombardments, these scuttling screw tanks join the main desolation force. Relentlessly sliding towards you, using their brutal close-range weapons to eradicate you from your hiding place.
Hi mates, we have the first release just about ready for June. I've done some late nights to get this tank done, it's been quite a big job. We're just doing the supports and test prints so this monster will be in your library in a few days, along with more images and a bit of description and lore to go with it. For now, enjoy these renders!
The orc release for June was originally intended to be orc bikers. However this tank has taken much longer than I would have liked, so we have run out of time to do another large multipart release like biker boyz in June. So we will be releasing a set of angry red space rats as the second release this month. Next month is going to be massive though; we have multipart/multipose dredge marines and multipart orc bikers.
Thank you for your patience while we got the Meznobs from May finished up. For all May legends, this multipart set is now in your MMF library, go get 'em!
So for June, we have a Dredge tank in the works. This is still at least a week or so away from completion, then the June orc release will be revealed.
I also want to have a chat with you about the recent orc poll. See the attached image with collated results from both Tribes and Patreon members. Now when I created this poll, the intention was mostly to get a really rough idea of what people were wanting, not necessarily to find a winner and loser. I would love to start work on a dedicated orc faction, either speed waaagh or beast waaagh (something with a theme, lore and characters, like the Dredge faction). The results for speed vs beast are almost identical. And a lot of the individual set's we've voted on could be included in a speed waaagh (bikers, battlewagon, stormboyz, the prophet etc). I'm also very keen to create a beast hunter faction as I think I could bring a much more unique flavour to this, than a more generic speed boyz army. So here's my proposal; we'll create some of the popular units from the poll as a more generic orc unit (but with the Mezgike vibes), such as bikers, stormboyz, the Prophet, battlewagon, dread, melee gruntz etc. That should satisfy the speed freaks. Then we can create a unique Mezgike beast hunter army with monstrous hog boyz, special characters, kill rigs etc. What do you reckon mates?
Also, if you use any Phrozen products here's a 15% discount code to use on their webstore: 22PRMIDP15
Also, a reminder that if you're not already, you are welcome to join the Mezgike Discord here where I am contactable almost every day https://discord.gg/Dv3WWWn
Just in time (kind of). Hey mates, first up, thank you for your patience with this set and I’m sorry it has taken so long. I’ve tried to get it done before the month ends, with only a few hours sleep over the past few days. I’m going to ask you to wait just a little longer, as I can’t get it finished in time, tried though I have! There are so many parts in this multipart set (something like 50 parts), I underestimated how long it would take to detail each one. Have a look at the iron gobz on these guys, see all the scratches and damage etc? Well, I need to finish that kind of detailing on other parts like the legs, weapons and all that. Plus, I wanted to add a few fun details like fungi and a little red space pet so you can further customise yours. This is still a release for May, but I will need to add it to your libraries in April (should be no more than 2-3 days from now).
Anyway, a few words on this set. This is my favourite orc release so far; I just honestly love it. I think that’s one reason it has taken this long to complete; I just can’t put it down. There are all sorts of cool details for you to find. I feel that this set is one of the most nostalgic orc sets I’ve made, reminding me of the first orcs I got as a kid. There are about 6 heads and one of them has a hat, another has a horn bolted on, one has a cheeky smile. All can pivot. There are multiple engines, including an orc version of a space marine power pack. The legs are separate from the torso, they can pivot and all parts are interchangeable. All arms can go on any body. The weapons are all split in half and you can use any combination to create your kombi guns. There are 6 shootas, 3 rockets, 3 burnas, 3 klaws and saws will be added too. Anyway, thank you again my friends for your patience. I hope you love this set as much as I do. Mez
G'Day mates, just a quick update to let you know the next release will be done in about a week, just in time for this month. It's multipart 'Mezanobz', a very requested set! Next month the first release will be for the Dredge, another highly requested miniature, the Sea Crawler tank! Haven't had a chance to talk about the orc poll yet, but we'll have a chat about that once this release is done. Mez
Let me present to you the first release for May, the ‘Fetid minebringer’. Legend subscribers will find him in their MMF library.
The fetid minebringer is one of the legion's specialist lieutenants. He carries with him an array of deadly sea mines, filled with a poisonous fume that leaks and follows him as a fog. This fume is lethal to all but the dredge, who breathe it with joy. Agonizing and torturous even to a dredge marine, yet it fills them with vigour. The minebringer himself breathes only the sludgy vapour spewing from these iron lungs, with a network of hoses that lead from the core mine directly to his mask. He wields a morning star which can as well vent the poisonous fume, or explode on impact - if that is the will of the great sunken one.
Announcements
1. If you're new here, I just want to remind you that you will always, without fail, get at least 2 awesome releases every single month. The first release comes in the middle of the month and the second release comes at the end of the month. I don't like to bombard you with posts, but rest assured that if posts are quiet, it's because old Mez is in the workshop making miniatures for you!
2. The next release which comes at the end of this month is for the orcz! This is not a release that was mentioned in the recent orc poll, as it was already in process but it's something very cool that you're going to love. Let me get that finished up and then we'll have a chat about the orc poll results and I'll share the combined Patreon+Tribes figures.
3. The next releases for the Dredge which I've started working on are; sea crawler tank, tide lord terminators, THE PRIMARCH, multipart marines and more lieutenant/heroes. Haven't decided which one will be first up but that gives you an idea of what is coming.
Hey my friends, we're starting off the loyalty rewards with a little two month miniature - be a Legend tier Patron for 2 consecutive months and get Ded Killy da bush runt for FREE! Warrior tier Patrons can also get this reward after the equivalent value of 2 Legend months. When you earn loyalty rewards they will be added to your MMF library at the end of that month.
Ded Killy da bush runt is a special little runt inspired by the infamous Australian bush ranger, Ned Kelly. He wields dual koltz and wears the iconic iron body armour and helmet. He stands atop the remains of an unfortunate imperial guardsman, whose helmet looks mightily like the Victorian coppers who hunted the Kelly gang. You can use this runt as a squad leader for your runt mobs, a mate for your warboss, or even standing on top of vehicle - whatever you want.
Ded Killy is causing all sorts of mischief here in da scrap piles. First, he knicked some of da bosses teef, then he krumped a few of da boyz wiv his kolt blastas. Worst of all but, he started finken fer himself when he made his own 'eavy armour and saying stuff like “such iz life”. Now he’s da most wanted little git ever.
The next loyalty reward will be a 3 month reward and it will be live soon, followed by a 6, 9 and 12 month reward.
Note: To earn loyalty rewards you must be currently subscribed and have been a Patron for the correct number of consecutive months.
Hi mates, I am working on all these new orc sets (plus Dredge stuff of course), but would like to know what you guys are wanting first. Please cast your votes, plus find your monthly discounts below:
G’Day you bunch of bloody legends, thanks so much for your patience. This kit has been a big one, but now they are finally ready to begin hunting the worthless enemies of the Dredge! I hope you love these, Legend subscribers will find them in their MMF library.
When the Dredge assaults its enemy, an ocean spills out from a tear in the sky - a portal waterway known and navigated only by the Dredge, originating from the depths of their rotten sea. An inland city can suddenly be drowned in a tidal bomb. This is the wave style warfare adopted by the Dredge. When the waves begin to settle, demonic iron fins emerge and begin to hunt the flood. Death tide drones are utterly predatory constructs armed with a variety of brutal weapons including tide spewers, torpedo launchers and the bloodthirsty reef slasher - a ravenous machine whose purpose has long been forgotten and replaced as a means to mince enemy lines.
This multipart set allows you to make as many death tide drones you need, as all parts are interchangeable! The set comes with 18 pre-supported parts, ready for 3d printing. This includes 3 face plates, 3 lower jaws, 3 weapon types, 1 rear body and 1 propeller. The weapons you can make include dual tide spewers, torpedo launchers or the terrifying reef slasher. One face place comes with two eye options, one face place features explosive sea mines embedded as the eyes, and one face plate features a mutated, monstrous prawn! Each face can be mix-and-matched with any lower jaw. Each jaw features some hidden details inside each maw. If you reflect some parts you will get even more unique models! . The set comes with a pre-supported 60mm plain base.
Announcements:
The first rewards model is sculpted, but not quite ready to deliver. It will be available in a few days as a ‘2 month loyalty reward’. So if you are a Legend for 2 consecutive months, you will get this model. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but I thought it would be nice for me to give you a bit of my Australian culture in this model. You will see the model in a couple of days. There will be a 3 month reward as well, followed by 6, 9 and 12. But these ones will be released gradually, not all at once.
A word on the design of the drones. I want to point out that I have deviated from the original concept. This is one reason why I often don’t like to show the original concepts. The concept sketches are never final in my operation and if I feel that the model should go in a better direction to the sketch, I will give myself the freeom to make that call. I am after all, the art director, the concept illustrator, the sculptor, the coffee maker, all in one.
Stick around for new orc and dredge releases coming in May!
Runt mob B is finally here! Include these runts in your orc army, if not for their tactical advantage, then for their comedic value in watching them get stomped by a knight. Runt mob ‘B’ includes 10 unique runts. One runt has somehow survived long enough to need a wheelchair. The runt and his chair are separate parts, allowing for easy conversions. One runt is an homage to a classical runt, one of the first miniatures that young Mez ever painted. One runt stood in something sticky. What is it? Depends how you paint it. One runt is barely visible, since he is wearing his ghillie junk cloak. What is his scope made of? Which is your favourite runt?
If you are a Legend subscriber, runt mob B will be in your MMF library. Enjoy :-)
Next we will get the Dredge drones finished up. These are still a ways off, so they’ll be up towards the end of April. Stay tuned for more updates.
Also I want to show you some concept art for the Dredge drones that are coming at the end of this month. This is a multipart kit that will let you build all 3 weapon options. These were once noble sentinel submarines used to patrol the rigs, until the ocean bed tore open and they became possessed with daemon spirits. They exploded from within, cracking and shattering their mechanical shells. Now they drag their fleshy and rusted carcasses from the water onto the sand, their eyes twitching from inside the hull, searching for prey.
These are still quite early in the sculpts, so you are welcome to give me your thoughts and they might be included in the final models.
Thanks for your patience with the releases this month, the first release will be live in a couple of days. The first release is for the orcs, and as I mentioned the Dredge will see their release at the end of the month.
Here we go, how about some mad gobbos for release 2! If you are a Legend, runt mob 'A' is now in your MMF library.
Runt mobs are one of the most important unit choices to include in your orc army. Every warboss loves them for screening, holding objectives or even just for the amusement of sending them up against a tank - gives all the boys a good morale boost! This is runt mob ‘A’ and includes 10 unique runts. One runt can be assembled with a banner or a blaster, while the rest are one single part each - which means less time assembling and more time giving them important missions like “go and kommandeer dat oomie titan and bring it back ‘ere.”
This set of miniatures is made up of 12 pre-supported parts in STL format, ready for 3D printing. The set comes with a pre-supported 25mm base. All parts also come unsupported and the LYS file is included, if you prefer to add your own supports, you rebels.
NOTE: I'm working on getting loyalty rewards up soon. For this I was thinking of releasing more random models, so not Dredge-specific or orc-specific. This would give me some freedom to design for you some really cool and unique models from other factions. I reckon they'll be an 'every 3 months' kind of thing, so if you are subscribed for 3 months you will get that cool model. Let me know your thoughts on this.
P.S My favourite runt is the one pulling the bolt back on his blaster. Which one is yours?
Anyway, next month we will have an absolute badass, sinister Dredge release as well as some more runty greenskins up to no good!
Well mates, what a set of miniatures we have here!
The order of the Deep Shroud was created to accompany and guard the Dredge Primarch. There have been many assassination attempts throughout the millennia, yet the Primarch endures thanks to his impenetrable unit of utterly devoted bodyguard. These veterans wear the ammonite pattern heavy power armour and shroud their faces in dark, tattered robes. Deep shroud marines swore oaths to never part with their two weapons; their ancient anchor scythes - dreaded and brutal power weapons designed to bludgeon, cut and pierce any armour, and their tide spitters - wrist-mounted canons that fire a caustic ocean sludge that melts almost anything. The Dredge Primarch has yet to surface for over a thousand years. Could the emergence of the deep shroud prelude his return?
This multipart set allows you to make as many deep shroud marines you need, as all parts are interchangeable! The set comes with 29 pre-supported parts, ready for 3d printing. This includes 3 sets of legs, 3 torso backs, 3 breast plates, 3 sets of arms, 3 anchor scythes, 5 shoulder pads, 2 optional hands and 4 head options including a mutated blob fish head. If you reflect some parts you will get even more unique models! Note that heads and bodies can be rotated, allowing you to turn them as desired, but the arms fit in set positions. The set comes with a pre-supported 40mm plain base.
Enjoy your new Dredge miniatures, if you are a Legend member you will find them in your MMF library! Stay tuned for the next release this month, something for the orcs.
G'Day mates, just getting the first release for March finished up. Still a few days off, this is a tricky kit to design! The deep shroud are multipart which is keeping me problem-solving. Thanks for your patience with this release, not long now. After that, there will be some more orc stuff. Some other things I want hit you with.
1. Loyalty rewards are coming! I want you guys to stick around and I want to reward you for your support. I am designing some special miniatures that you will get after certain time spent with me. I'm aiming to present the first reward beginning April.
2. A dedicated orc faction, along the lines of the Dredge is coming. Currently with the orc releases, the models are proxies for whatever. But I am working on a specific beast orc faction with a unique theme so you can collect the whole army like with the Dredge. The models will still fit with other standard orc armies, but they will have their own story. I'm working on this now so it is just around the corner and I hope to show some concepts soon.
3. We still have some more units to create for the Dredge, and then after that I am excited to show you some new factions. Two of them in the making are a new chaotic space marine army as well as a guard army.
Also, a reminder that if you're not already, you are welcome to join the Mezgike Discord here https://discord.gg/Dv3WWWn
I know I don't often post a lot here on Patreon but that's so I don't clog up your inboxes. I am reachable almost every day on Discord, so it's a good place to ask me questions or see what's coming up. Plus there are a lot of bloody good people in there.
The first release for March is about a few days away! The first release is multipart Deep Shroud terminators. And man am I excite to show you this set. Gimmi a few more days and we'll be shrouding it up.
Righto mates, here's another release for February. A set of pirate orc heads, they fit with the new gruntz as well as other brands of space orc. Look at that one what thinks he's a dredge marine! Now I've gotta make some mega armour orks that are dredge marine wannabes.
Next up, we have the 'Deep Shroud' heavy marines. These are shaping up to be the darkest, meanest models I've ever made!
Anyway, these freebooter heads are being added to your library. Have fun :-)
Hey mates, here is the second release for this month. A set of characterful dredgelings to decorate your bases, vehicles or terrain. I made these little guys fun to introduce a slightly mischievous side to your otherwise very dark dredge marine force. I’m looking forward to seeing these guys appear in your conversions!
As always, these have been added to your library and the folder includes both pre-supported and unsupported files, as well as the LYS file in case you need to edit your supports.
We still have one more release this month, an orc head upgrade set for the gruntz. Next month there will be more gruntz as well as the deep shroud heavy marines for the dredge - those guys are mean!
Hey guys, thanks for your patience while I fixed up the scale of the gruntz. What I've done is reduced everything to 90% but kept all the supports at the same weight (so supports have not been shrunk). This means we have smaller parts but all the supports have kept their integrity. Sorry if this caused any inconvenience, but it means that moving forward all the add-ons coming for gruntz will be a much better scale and will all fit with each other. Your files have been updated in your libraries.
Just a reminder that there is a Dredge release coming up next, and the first release of next month is a unit of Deep Shroud terminators. Ork releases have been heavier than the Dredge for the past couple of months but there are some awesome bigger sets coming for the Dredge. Trying to keep both the ork and the chaos people happy but got some Dredge-loving coming up :-)
I am making a small adjustment to the scale of gruntz that I just uploaded. I am changing them to 90% of their current scale. I'm really sorry if this causes any inconvenience if you have already printed them but let me explain. In an early test print I determined that I needed to shrink them a touch so that they fit in nicely with the other orc models, but somehow forgot to make this change in the sculpts. So they're a little bigger than desired, they're about beast snagga or nob size. It's important that they are the correct scale though, because of the coming releases that are compatible with these ones. So if you have downloaded the files I would suggest waiting 1 more day so I can make the change and re-upload them, I'm doing this right now. Otherwise if you have already printed them, they'll be perfect for nobs!
Sorry about the inconvenience, it will all be fixed up shortly. Mez.
G'Day ya bloody legends, here is the first release for February; pre-supported orc shoota gruntz, multipart set.
Every orc army is made up of war boys, called gruntz. This mob is the shoota gruntz; they're snorty and grumpy unless they're pinning that trigger finger, blasting out dakka ontop of more dakka.
This multipart set allows you to make as many shoota gruntz you need, and all of them will be unique! The set comes with 31 pre-supported parts, ready for 3d printing. This includes 5 bodies, 2 base details, 10 heads, 4 shootas held with 2 hands, 1 shoota held with 1 hand, 2 arms with no hands and 2 additional hand options. There are 5 gun bodies which fit on any shoota, allowing for more customization and flexibility. Any gun or arm can go on any body. If you reflect some parts you will get even more unique models! Note that heads are hollowed at the back allowing you to turn them as desired. They will also fit on other orc bodies. The set comes with a pre-supported 32mm plain base.
IMPORTANT: Gun arms are designed to click into place. You need to use a touch of force when you push the arms from below, into the shoulder socket. We recommend you place a tiny bit of glue into the shoulder sockets before clicking the arms into place. You will get some movement to swivel the arms to get just the right pose.
We hope you love these boys! The next two releases for this month are a set of pirate orc heads and a 'dredgelings' set! We are also currently designing another set of gruntz, called 'chopping gruntz'. That set will be out in the next months and is fully compatible with the shoota gruntz, allowing you to swap bodies, heads and arms for even more unique models! Next month we will also see the multipart 'deep shroud' as well as a set of 'fun arms' for the orc gruntz.
P.S If you are a legend patron your invitation to this set will be emailed to you shortly!
