"EQ" behind the scenes
Some making of footage with various levels of silliness... (I accidentally set the release time to PM instead of AM...)

The final version. Almost identical to the pre-release :) (I accidentally set the release time here on Patreon to PM instead of AM...)

The tiny streak at the horizon from a ship below the horizon: Hot air from an exhaust refracts the sunlight.

I finished this video just now (version 11). It's basically 'final'.
I'll give it a rest and look at it in a few days. Maybe we discover something stupid ;-)
I have no clue what title and thumbnail to give it yet, probably 'EQ'
Also, I'm doubting whether I should release the new music as pre-release.
But I really want the next release to be a full album again...
I have very few of such captures and it's been years since the last good one. This one comes close but too blurry and of course the ship is too close 😉

I finally used an ND filter to do the classic "long exposure" trick during this sunset. 30 seconds to make the sea look like that. The clouds didn't move that much, apparently.

A composition like this is perhaps more suitable as a digital desktop wallpaper.

A stranded large branch. I wonder how long it has been on the sea and where it came from.

I love it when the sun almost touches the horizon but is still bright enough to light up parts of the scene.

I like the colors and contrast in this one. And it's nicely sharp, that doesn't happen often due shimmering of the air.

the last but of sun, with dune grass in front and a tugboat.

The whiteness of seafoam is not really visible with the strong backlight of this sunset afterglow.

Only for a few minutes longer, then they'll be standing above the sun ;-)

The sun is shining in between two cloud layers. This doesn't happen often, relative to sunsets in general..

A very brief report of SAIL 2025...

This version has only minor differences, mainly the intro and a notice near the end. It's not really a lazy video but obviously not worthy of the main channel and also not why you became a patron... 🙄 But since I was doing the build anyway it only made sense to make a video about it. And then it turned out the be an hour long video.. New personal record! 😉

The nicest equalizer I've seen. With round knobs instead of sliders :) It's a Kenwood from the 90's. To be featured in a future video about equalizers...

A cloud peaking over the horizon in front of the setting sun, with an inferior mirage.

I think this is the first time I captured a raindow shortly after the sun had already set. Higher up in the sky it hadn't yet of course. If you're ever witnessing a sunset at sea, bend down, and when it's gone quickly stand on your toes, you'll see it set twice 😁

Not released yet! This Lazy Posy video went completely out of hand. I expected to make a 7 minute video... It turned out to be a bit longer...

Water warmer than the air water creates a mirage, the reflection effect you often see on roads.

A more unusual red sunset. I'm not sure if this is very stretched virga or not. It was opposite the sunset and it's shot at a very wide angle, in 2022 (re-edited raw file). In shots like this it's tricky to determine the 'straight' horizon. As the sea is lighter and the dunes go up, it looks like it isn't straight.

A video about equalizers, from one knob bass-boost to digital room correction. The plan is to hopefully keep it understandable for a wide audience, a bit in the style of Every sound is Sine. I finally found an affordable big equalizer with the nice lights, to make a complete video of all types of equalizers... The green lines are actual measurements.

Difficult to see with the naked eye I managed to capture this comet in a nice landscape setting with some ground fog. While I was there I took some more photos of Venus (probably) and street lights...
