Its always a pleasure to shoot with Steph Sinn. She is so sure of what her modeling, her art, means to her. She believes it deep down, and flows out of her when the camera is pointed her way, so I don't have to do anything at all except observe. i really love to watch an artist in the flow, in the zone, enjoying what they are doing. For Steph its seems literally like "flow" as her movements and poses seem like the yoga flow she practices.
The only thing I would do really is give her a new setting from time to time, then watch what the new setting would spark in her. The first clearing inspired a lot of movement and play (stretching, and tossing snow), while the second spot she felt like she was in some snowy bed that she wanted to relax into, like we were doing some sultry bedroom shoot.
Her vibe is, well, pure good vibes! That is all I can say - if you need a pick me up you should follow her and try checking out her OnlyFans maybe!

I missed all the proper winter weather in Los Angeles, as we didn't start getting rain in LA until the week I moved to Japan (and it almost hasn't stopped raining since, which has been good for keeping people shut indoors during Coronavirus lockdown), but there was one decent storm system back in December that dumped snow in the local mountains. Steph Sinn and I went to check it out a day or two after the system passed, on a blazing sunny weekend day in the Angeles National Forest.
There were tons of people crawling up and down the Angeles Crest Highway that snakes through the local mountains, but we did our best to find empty pull off so we'd have a spot to ourselves right off the road for a quick shoot, though we were interrupted within minutes by other cars seeing ours and pulling up behind us. I will NEVER understand this herd mentality of stopping because you see another car stopped. i am always trying to find a place on a highway where no one is around, but others seem determined to bunch up around other strangers, instead of enjoying some solitude and quiet. Oh well!
Even though I was totally distracted by this, Steph was not. She was like "Let their kids see a naked woman! It will do them some good!"

I posted two quite different posts to the Memory Vault (both with images and a video) this month for the $20 Tier.
The first was from the very end of my last shoot with Suicide Girl Eirenne, when we had pretty much finished shooting and were sitting in the set smoking weed and chatting, I remembered I had been given this pair of panties and never been able to use it in a shoot. i showed it to Eirenne (who loves lingerie) and she wanted to get some shots in it. Maybe not the best shots since we were both tired and stoned, but she was feeling really open and sultry so they are still pretty entertaining I think!
The second set is from my productive road trip with my friend, model Kitty Malone. We were on our way down the coast late in the trip, making a last stop in Oregon so she could act in a fetish film (someday I will release the crazy BTS footage from that shoot!) in Sisters, Oregon. When we were almost there we stopped along the side of the highway in a burned out forest so she could pee, just as the sun was setting. We took the opportunity of the stark setting, the beauty of the sunset, and her need to pee to make some beautiful images!

Last of my instagram posts from my shoot in December with Steph Sinn in the snow during the one big winter storm we got in Los Angeles this winter. I think i will post this whole shoot later this month.
In other news, it seems like i escaped the US just before the insanity of coronavirus hysteria blew up! I am safely in the countryside of Japan (where people are far more rational about the whole thing. I think they are more used to massive national disasters than Americans maybe?), just hanging out quietly working on the bamboo forest next to the creek in our back yard. So i will finally be able to start posting regularly again! I should have a proper post or two up in the next 24 hours.

Maybe you have noticed i haven't been posting much on instagram and haven't yet posted here on Patreon this month. Its been HECTIC of late. My wife and I are moving to Japan in 4 days! So there has been a million things to finish and issues to solve and fires to put out. Its been non-stop and both our art Patreon and this one have not been attended to. Once we get settled in the Japanese countryside (where we have a 130 year old farmhouse that we've renovated) I will get back to posting more regularly. I will definitely get a few posts off before we fly out, but will post more regularly before the month is through.

A little preview of a set I am uploading to the Memory Vault ($20+ patrons) today. One of those perfect days last summer in my secret canyon hiking with an animal loving friend, Megan. She REALLY likes animals, and in fact works at a wolf rescue center, so its nice to go hiking with her specifically to look for and photograph critters. She is also used to being in front of the camera and running around naked, so I thought she would really appreciate the secret canyon. There were still interesting wildflowers in the canyon like Humboldt Lillies. Also there was still a ton of water flowing in the creek so it was also a swim day on top of all this. Can't ask for more from our local Los Angeles area mountains!

I was going to save this set for a Memory Vault post (and I think the content is worthy of a $20 tier set surely), but I didn't shoot ANY video or something that could be considered BTS during my first bath shoot in Portland with Kitty Malone so I couldn't make a BTS shoot for you from that day. Thankfully, we did shoot yet again in the bath once we got finished with our 3 week road trip. Back at my house in LA, Kitty was preparing to jet off to Korea to be the model of a body painting artist competing in an international body painting competition. For that task she had to shave her body completely and she asked me to document the whole task to make some content for her to sell to her fans.
I mentioned in my previous post that the bathroom in Portland was a lot more photogenic than ones I had access to, and you can see what i mean when you look at my OWN bathroom in LA, which is entirely functional, but not interesting to look at. Kitty shaving her whole head, pubes, and body is fairly entertaining though! The video is pretty silly and graphic at the same time, and I also included some BTS iphone images of Kitty lounging around on my bedroom floor after finishing the long task of shaving down.

The shoots I did with Kitty Malone in Portland were much more play than work. She was actually working her ass off in the city the days we were there. While I was doodling and hanging with my friends, she had long days meeting up with photographers to do shoots, sometimes quite challenging and tiring ones. We had plans to do various kinds of shoots in the city (since we mostly had shot in the wilderness on this trip), but in the end she was too exhausted from her other shoots, so mostly in Portland I only shot her lounging in bed, bathing, exposing herself in bars, or drunkenly playing with her model friend Jordan River (I have some amazing sets to post of them together in the coming months!).
Kitty really started to get comfortable in the bubbles after a while. He exhibitionist side came out as the warm water eased her muscles and she began to perform for me, or maybe she really was just enjoying herself. Either way, I think it yielded some really nice, sensual, intimate bubbly fun!

Monthly Kitty Malone time! This month's set from our epic road trip up the West Coast is from the middle of our trip, when we were staying with an artist friend of mine in Portland. There was a great bath tub upstairs, and on one of our last days there Kitty asked me to come with her when she took a bath, to document it. The setting was much more photogenic than most bathrooms we'd had access to, so it became a full blown, intimate photoshoot.
It gets more intimate in the $10 set...

I really didn't remember to shoot anything at all beyond the images we were attempting to create. I dunno why, I guess we were just caught up in catching up as i hadn't seen Jay Marie since August. i did have a few images that I edited that didn't make it into the other sets, and one lousy pic I took of Jay Marie when we went to lunch afterwards.
HOWEVER! The video is really fun and silly. I don't think she would ever allow an actual man to be taking advantage of her, but I maybe she makes an exception for certain fictional bad boys like Darth Vader. Afterwards she confessed that she never tries to act, but was willing to try it for me and Darth. Thank you Jay Marie! :D

I have shot with Jay Marie about every six month for the last year (this was our third shoot together). She was quite new to modeling the first time we worked together, but now a year later she has grown quite a lot. Much more confident in who she is and what she can do. Still, this shoot really felt like we were both stepping out of our comfort zone. We really just wanted to meet up while she was in LA, and didn't have any plan for what exactly we wanted to shoot, so I concocted this idea of shooting at my friend Amir's home studio. He is a guitarist in the band The Voidz, and they were getting ready to record their next album in the studio. Luckily our shoot day was right before their first day of recording, so it was all set up but empty.
I really don't have a feel for shooting in these sort of low light indoor environments, or getting a model to work a man-made environment like this, so i was kind of petrified. Jay Marie doesn't have a real rock n' roll vibe to her, so trying to get into that character was a challenge for her. We didn't put any pressure on ourselves though and decided to have fun with it. The results have a sort of low-rent 80's pin-up vibe (minus the overblown lighting since I had none with me) that kind of makes me laugh. In this set she also has a run in with a VERY handsy Darth Vader ($15BTS Patrons will get the video where Jay Marie throws herself into the role and tries to gracefully fend him off as he gropes her...hah!)

This set was from the same day Grace and I shot underwater at my friend's pool in Palos Verdes, CA. I had some pieces from another friend's clothing line, Together California, that I wanted to shoot some look book images for and Grace was down to help out. This bikini matches well with my friends' bountiful kumquat trees so we used them as a background. Grace had never tried kumquats before in her life. I told her to give them a try, warning her that they can be mild or quite tart, depending on the tree. I captured her first reaction to tasting the fruit and it was pretty hilarious. Together California posted the image on their instagram - and later told me it was the most liked image they had ever posted! Hah!
After that Grace ditched the bikini and we got to work!
The rest of the backyard shots of Grace (99 images over two sets) are in the memory Vault for $20 and up patrons...

Hi folks! A new month, some new sets for my $5-$20 teirs! Always trying to mix it up here, with a variety of models (from professionals to amateurs, to my friends helping me out) and a variety of locations (indoor, outdoor, the beach, the forest, a bathtub, even a recording studio!) and some different vibes (from naturism, to arty, to outright erotic). There are probably more sets coming this month, but these are the one that I have decided on so far...
I got together with Jay Marie when she was visiting LA last month and tried to step out of my comfort zone and shoot in an indoor location, choosing my friend's recording studio, to see if I could play with a rock n' roll vibe. It was waaaay out of my milieu, but Jay Marie ALWAYS looks darn sexy so I hope you will like it!
One of my patrons asked when I would post more from my shoots with Grace, and I did manage to finish with editing those shoots, so I will be posting those, likely to the Memory Vault, this week. This set was from after our pool shoot, when we started using all the foliage and garden around my friends pool to do some stuff above water.
This month's monthly Kitty Malone set, again from our road trip up the West Coast last summer, is a quite intimate bath time shoot we did one morning in Portland. Its funny, I don't really do bath shoots much, but Kitty always invites me into the bathroom when we are hanging out, so I have shot her a bunch of times in baths actually. This one was the one time where we tried to do a proper "shoot" and she was feeling pretty open - the results are fairly explicit.
I will also be posting a set from last summer, one of several I did in my secret canyon in the mountains near Los Angeles, with my friend Megan, who models and also photographs models. We really just went up there to sunbathe naked and look for critters since we are both obsessed with animals. I did take some pretty shots of her though that I want to share with you all!

Just a bit of a taste of the kinds of stuff I posted exclusively to the Memory Vault folder for $20 and above patrons in January. This month I jumped around from place to place and year to year with sequences from a couple shoots I have never posted on Patreon, andfun stuff from a shoot I have posted that just fell through the cracks at the time.
I added a set of 54 images (and a video) I shot with the voluptuous, inked beauty Shelby Mason back in 2018 when she and another model friend were staying with me in LA and I took them out to Joshua Tree. It was her first time there, and we made the most of it!
I also added a sequence from my shoot with Ariel Fahey and Steph Sinn at the pool from August of 2019. I posted much of the underwater images last month, but had forgotten about all the fun we had topside afterwards. I made a special $15 BTS post of images of them spitting water and spanking one another (with slow-mo video footage), and then I still had this sequence of 26 images of them posing together by the water's edge left over so I put it in the Memory Vault.
Lastly a little portion of an underwater shoot I did 9 years ago with my friend Angel, who invited her girl friend to jump in with us. They had clearly never tired modeling underwater (and I was not so good at shooting underwater back then), but I just let them enjoy themselves, and it was still pretty amazing to watch these young, slender bodies at play. Plus Angel had a nice pool with trees hanging over it that really enhanced the interplay of light above them. I uploaded a whopping 77 images from that shoot, but when I went back and looked through that old shoot, I realized actually I have a lot more fun images I could post. Maybe I will add them to the Memory Vault in the near future!

I forgot to post this whole fun sequence when I posted my underwater shoot with Steph Sinn and Ariel Fahey a while back. Shame on me though!! So I am throwing it in this month as my second BTS set.
After we shot a long time inthe pool, these girls were just having such a good time that I kept right on shooting, documenting their shenanigans. After shooting them sitting together at the edge of the pool (which I should also post - I will throw that in as an extra Memory Vault post for $20+ patrons today).
For some reason they decided Steph should give Ariel a facial of sorts spitting water into her face for a slow-motion iphone video. Steph took on the guise of a statuary fountain, while Ariel, well just took it in the face like a champ! She got her revenge though when I suggested some spanking in the water might also look good in slow-motion. I could tell from Ariel's bruises that she loved a good spanking, but surprisingly Steph volunteered to receive it and Ariel gleefully obliged...

This was one of our first proper shoots on the trip, and a lot of the conditions were working against us - we didn't get out of the campground early enough to beat the families on to the beach, so there were lots of kids milling around down the beach (having regular people around is always more distracting for me than the models I work with somehow), the rocks and seaweed were dangerously slippery and wet (and where they weren't slippery they were jagged sharp), so walking was treacherous, we didn't get there early enough to get the good morning light, but early enough that it was damn cold, and I couldn't quite explain to Kitty what I was trying to shoot (because I didn't quite know).
Months later though, what stands out the most was Kitty telling me that all this was fine, and then relating to me a story about another photographer who had her sitting on a log for a long time, and forcing her to stay put to get the shot even though the log was filled with termites, and she kept complaining about it, and he kept telling her it was fine, and she said "No, I literally have termites IN my vagina. Its not fine. Nothing is fine." (I caught the last bit of that story on video and threw it into this set for you because it always makes me laugh when I her relay this tidbit of modeling horror story.) I remember her finding a juvenile scorpionfish in the shallows, which I told her was not poisonous so she wouldn't freak out. I also remember making our way up the long path bath up from the beach, trailed by some children, and passing a couple going down to the beach. When the kids passed them moments later they said "Be careful guys folks - don't go to the end of the beach. There is some people naked sunbathing!" (referring to Kat). Hah!

More images of Kitty Malone shot in the morning at the tide pools. I notice that Kat has this range of of posing that she excels at - very statuesque "nude art model", spare poses with really intense stares into the camera that are more like edgy fashion editorial, super lurid sexual work where you feel like she might start playing with herself spontaneously, doing just strange and goofy stuff (licking things in nature, playing with dirt, making silly faces), and even sometimes just relaxing and putting on very innocent, shy appearance. She can kind of do it all, and runs through them silently, often without any prompt and I always wonder what her thought process is. I probably should ask her, but even though we are great friends, I have been afraid to.
During this shoot, I had some idea in mind that was super vague and I couldn't communicate it. I kept mumbling to kat not to pose this way or that, and she was getting frustrated because she was giving me good stuff, but I couldn't figure out why it wasn't right. This a second sort of test for us that morning that would determine how the rest of the trip would go, a test more on me though, and my ability to communicate what I was after in each shooting location. She really knew what she wanted to accomplish, but did I? She had to slow the whole shoot down and sit and talk to me about what my photography was about, who the characters in my photos were, in my own mind, so that she could better embodied them. After that we just had some laughs, and discussed how strange and silly this whole enterprise of nude photography can be...

I was responsible for planning the route for most of this 3 weeks long road trip Kitty Malone and I went on last August. For me it became a bucket list of places I had been to before, but not with a great model, or with anyone that really wanted to capture this kind of imagery at all. Kitty is a workaholic though, and hates wearing clothes so she was a rather perfect companion to revisit places I had seen and wished I could have made images at in the past.
This stop was one of our first shooting locales. The Humboldt Coast is cold and the ocean even colder. I love this kind of weather and water, but I knew Kitty is not actually partial to freezing her ass off, so this would set the tone for how much we could accomplish the rest of the trip (the lakes, rivers, and waterfalls of the PNW are gorgeous, not known for their warmth, to say the least). Kitty is a trooper though and standing in cold water till her feet began to burn from the cold, she fought of shivers to remain posed so I could capture her statuesque poses. It gave me a good feeling for the adventure we were starting!
After we got a good amount of shots, we turned to exploring the pools and Kitty turned out to be a good critter spotter, so we had a lot of fun for to start our first full day out far from the city exploring the wilds together!

A little preview of this month's Kitty Malone set for you. This was only perhaps the third shoot we did on our three week road trip up the West Coast, but looking back on the pictures it seems like Kat was pretty frisky that day and molesting all the sea creatures...
We woke up at this State Park along the coast of Humboldt Country in Northern California and went down to check out the tide pools there. The weather was that typically sort of moist, cool gloom that is typical of the area - the one part of California that is cold and wet even in summer. That meant this would be real work for Kat - the water was frigid, the air wasn't much warmer, and families already littered the beach. As usual though, nothing much phases Kat, and she went right to work.
I will be posting 90+ images between my $5-$15+ patrons (plus video for $15+ patrons) this week...

A little preview of a shoot I did just this past weekend with Steph Sinn when we went to check out the local mountains just outside Los Angeles after the first big winter storm of the season. I got stuck in Joshua Tree in the storm, so we ended up going a day later than i had hoped, which was unfortunate - by Saturday the sky was clear and blasting sun (nothing like harsh sun to ruin photos) and families were crawling everywhere along the highway - Angelenos looking to see some snow with their children. This made it quite hard to find a good place to shoot, and in fact our shoot was cut very short when a family pulled off the highway right at our spot and were determined to use it for snowplay. Steph doesn't actually care if people are watching her nude, but I find it super distracting myself. Thankfully Steph is a real pro and quite a figure to watch move (I have some great timelapses of her doing a sort of half nude yoga flow in the snow).
This set will go up in the new year, likely as a post for the Memory Vault ($20+ patrons) with 50+ images and videos.

Even though I still more set to post from this long shoot at the pool with Airel Fahey and Steph Sinn, I wanted to get a Behind the Scenes post with video for my BTS and above patrons before the the month is over.
The set is pretty revealing (if for nothing else then in that it reveals that the models allowed me to be naked during the shoot as well - hah!) and the video has a footage of some lovely bodies underwater. We worked through SO much stuff during the shoot, mostly because these gals had SO much energy and enthusiasm. Solo shots, lots of stuff of them together, sinking in bubbles shot, fabric play portraits, undersurface reflection shots, lookbook shots for my friends' clothing company, even a fairly hilarious sequence above the water that includes Steph spitting water like a cherubic fountain in Ariel's face in slow motion, and Ariel repaying her with a lot of spanking ( I couldn't fit that stuff into the other posts so I will save the photos and videos for next month, probably for the $20+ Tiers). We shot a really fun variety of stuff since these gals worked so well together and were up for anything.
And speaking of spanking - If you notice throughout all these sets that Ariel's buns are quite bruised up - she apologized to me for showing up to the shoot in such a state, but then a beaming smile crossed her as she revealed that the bruises had come from a recent and very FUN session with her lover. After that, I was pretty enamored of the bruises and just wanted to capture lots of images of her ass post-pleasure.

Could it be any more perfect for an underwater model? A beautiful, water-loving, natural redhead whose actual name is Ariel! She was able to come to the pool earlier than Steph for their shoot that day, so we had lots of time to play and get some good solo stuff at the beginning of the shoot. In some of these moments she did end up reminding me of The Little Mermaid. It made me think of having lurid fantasies about that particular Disney Princess when I was a young teen - am I the weirdo? Or just the only one willing to admit that sort of thing?
I digress though - Airel and I had a good time, although I got fixated again with shooting this model in the shallow end of the pool looking up toward her reflection (Just as I did with Grace a few days prior. These shots are always painful for a model), as well as making images for my ongoing "Sinking in Bubbles" series.
Ariel had brought this magenta dress to try and shoot with underwater. I thought it was good choice since the color really pops in the water, but the dress proved almost impossible to actually keep ON, so she quickly gave up on it (I guess this is lucky for all of us!).

This shoot back in August 2019 was beyond fun. So productive and such a good time. I had worked with Ariel a few times already and rather adore hanging out with her, and Steph was someone I had watched burst forth with creativity and a celebration of naturist freedom on instagram over the past year and talked about shooting with for some time before this shoot magically fell into place. The two gals had shot together before and got along so I knew there was a slightly better chance that they might be able to pull off shooting underwater together, which is one of the hardest things to do, honestly. I had such little luck with it in the past because its SO hard to capture those fleeting milliseconds when both models have everything going right. This is hard enough on land, but underwater it is frustrating beyond end. This time I really lucked out though!
Ariel and Steph had quite a good idea of how to interact with one another and what it might look like from the camera's perspective. They tried lots of things and more than usual succeeded, creating an elegant underwater, 3 dimensional dance for me to capture. I hope i can find more and more folks with such good underwater skills - I would love to FILL a pool with such beauty and skill someday!

Some previews for sets I am uploading to the Memory Vault this month for $20 Patrons. On top of all the posts for the lower tiers, I upload 2-3 sets to the Memory Vault every month. Often these are images from shoots I don't post at all to the lower tiers, and usually include some behind the scenes video footage. Sometimes they are abit racier or more intimate, or sometimes the sets are just overflow from the shoots I post to the lower tiers when I find more images I like or had forgotten to edit previously when going back through those shoots. Sometimes they were just really quick spontaneous shoots with friends, and there just wasn't enough images to make posts for all my lower tiers. Its kind of a catch all for stuff I want to share, but don't feel will work for my $5-$15 sets.
This month I have so far posted two very different sets - different looking people, different kinds of environments, and totally different vibe.
"Claren at Hot Springs" has 50 hi-res images plus a video from the time she and I spent the night along the Kern River to wake up for a soak by the river in these really hot hot springs in the Sequoia National Forest in California this past spring. The setting was gorgeous so obviously it made sense to make images with her as she tried out those hot springs for the first time.
The second set is with my regular collaborator Taylor, who is always full of ideas and yet always willing to help me execute my own. She is super generous, full of can-do positive energy, and a petite little beauty on top of all that. It was fun to see her play in my "Candy Chaos" darkness set, and transform herself into a sort of naked, futuristic, animé fairytale damsel so I could play around with lighting experiments in the dark.

I didn't shoot much behind the scenes stuff during this super quick shoot with Kitty Malone late in our 3 week trip up and down the West Coast, but the video footage definitely shows what a good time we were having! I will just say that when I sent the video to Kitty for her approval to share it with you folks, she said "Oh my - that is actually the FIRST time I have ever let someone film me popping a buttplug out of my ass!" (and in slo-mo, no less).
I try to let my BTS Tier folks know just where my shoots take place, though I can't really remember where exactly we pulled off the North Santiam Highway onto some tiny logging road, but I do know it was somewhere past Detroit Lake, which was memorable because we stopped for lunch at some local bar and Kitty was amusing me (and herself) by flashing me in the middle of the joint for me to sneak pics. A really entertaining day!

Looking back, I think its kind of good that Kitty Malone and I did the shoot toward the end of the trip. Throughout the trip I (as well as other photographers she booked with when we stayed several days in the big cities for her to book proper jobs) put her body through a lot in terms of being exposed to the elements. By this point in the trip she had various bruises and cuts healing, and her body hair (something I don't usually care one way or the other about) was growing out - all of which added to the feral nature of her character in this shoot. It was kind of perfect to me!

Perhaps since the first time Kitty Malone had stayed at my house in LA for an extended period I had wanted to shoot her using her foxtail buttplug in a forest. She was staying in my bedroom for over a week (I slept on the couch folks - we keep it professional here, folks!) and I remember coming up to chat with her while she prepared to head out for her jobs that day. She had bad of sex toys laid all out and was choosing which ones to bring for the erotic shoot she had booked that day. We talked about someday doing an erotic shoot together, although honestly i can't afford her erotic shoot rates - she does not come cheap (no pun intended). However I saw that buttplug with the animal tail attached (is not at all a foxtail, but that sounds so much better, that racoon or something) and it sung to me visions of a feral beauty in a damp mossy forest. It was so in tune with my interests, both erotically and photographically.
Months later, we had become good friends, and were on a road trip together for 3 weeks, shooting almost every day. Doing nude nature shoots, documenting her daily life, fulfilling most of my fetish interests - Kitty was game to try all the things I had stashed away in my imagination. We had a list of those things and were trying to tick them off when we could find the right time, setting, and light to shoot them in (sometimes we just never found the right spot and the list lives on still - hopefully our schedules will collide again someday and we can tick off the rest). The foxtail buttplug forest shoot was on this list of course, but we kept forgetting to bring the buttplug with us!
Finally , when we were making our way back down to LA again quickly, on the way to a fetish video shoot she had booked in Sister, Oregon, we pulled off onto a random logging road an hour or two outside Sisters because I was determined to try to capture this idea in my head. We went to work quickly to get the last of the golden hour light. Despite the rushed timeframe, we still got great stuff since Kitty is such a professional. I was pretty happy with how it turned out, although instead of satisfying this nagging idea in my head of shooting this scenario, now I want to shoot every model with a foxtail buttplug in nature!
