Really needed to take a break from house painting and all of my projects to just get this out of my system. In my quest for Adam Scott's work, I finally watched Party Down and it quickly became one of my favorite shows. Adam Scott and Lizzy Caplan keep delivering the best disaster couples, and I thank them 💖

March Update

Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well 💖

First, an update on Arc 10. Last month, I finalized the script and reached out to all of the voice actors. Almost all of them have the script and are working on recording, I'm just waiting to hear back from one of them. If you didn't see yesterday, I opened voice auditions for a few small parts which you can get more info on and apply for here! I also started designing character outfits on my streams. I'm almost done with those, which I plan to finish in the next few days. After that, it's on to backgrounds, and there are a lot 😭 My goal is to finish them all by the end of this month so I can hopefully start production in April.

Arc 10 has a total of 15 parts, plus a detailed credit sequence (so I'm really counting it as 16 parts). A good amount of these parts are on the lengthy side, so I don't know how long this arc is going to take me to make. At least I don't have to animate hair blowing in the wind this time 😅

I'm planning on launching the next Office AU merch collection sometime this month 👀 Everything has been designed, I'm just waiting on a couple of manus to get back to me. More info on the launch and Patreon-only perks will be revealed soon!

I mentioned this on one of my streams, but I'm planning on publicly live streaming my entire process of the first part of Arc 10 once I start production on it. The final animated part will still be released here first. I think sharing my process will be helpful to those who are interested in seeing it, plus it'll give an idea of how long it actually takes to make these episodes.

A few other updates: Next weekend I'll be away visiting family, which means this week I need to focus on getting work done for one of my clients since their deadline is next Tuesday. After that, I can focus on the Office AU again. We're also finishing up the house renovations (yay!) and we're going to start painting today. The house is my priority right now since I really need to get back into my office (working in the bedroom and living room has not been ideal). Hopefully if nothing delays us more, the timing should work out perfectly with the start of production on Arc 10, and then I'll be able to really focus on it 🤞

February Update

Hey all, got a few updates for this month!

First, I tried taking it a bit easy last month as sort of a break since December was still crazy with the holidays and everything after arc 9 dropped. I worked on all of the merch for the Office AU and it's all pretty much done! I have to wait a few more days to reach out to some manus about price quotes (because of Chinese New Year) but once I have all of my pricing set, I'll start working on mockups and shop graphics. Hopefully I'll be able to open preorders by the end of February 🤞 You will all have priority access to my shop before the public since there will be a couple of limited items/pricing available 👀

Second, I've been putting together the pins from my DanDaDan collection and I'm SUPER happy with how they came out! Still waiting on the other set of pins to come in; I'm assuming there are shipping delays because of the holiday. Once I get those, I'll be focusing on shipping out all DDD POs ASAP. As far as leftovers (and all other products that were in my shop + my extra Kacchako merch from last year), I'll be reopening my shop with EVERYTHING - including leftovers from this new Office AU merch line - after POs ship for the Office AU merch. This means it probably won't be until summer / early autumn that all of these extras become available.

Third, I have rewatched all previous Office AU episodes to prepare for writing the final arc. It's been a very long time since I've seen most of it and I can't believe what I've made 😂 I'm incredibly proud of the story and characters I've built and I really want to give it a proper send off. I have compiled an outline for arc 10 that is quite long - there are a lot of things I want to address and explore before saying goodbye to this series. I was anticipating this arc to be on the shorter side, but I think it's going to end up longer than I expected. For the next week or so, I'll be brainstorming and writing to figure out the full script. My goal is to have it completed and sent off to the voice actors by the end of February.

My streams for this month may be a little all over the place until I have a solid script and can begin working on outfit designs and backgrounds. As always, I stream Thursdays at 8pm eastern! Thanks for reading and for your support 💖

January 2025 Update

Hello all and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I am back from my vacation and jumping into work immediately 🙃

I have a client deadline for Tuesday that I have to scramble to finish this week/weekend and then take a breather. I'm canceling this week's live stream because I need to play catch up on other things.

I'd like to focus on finalizing the new Office AU merch line at the beginning of this year, so once I'm past this deadline, that's what I'll be putting a majority of my time into along with planning/writing Arc 10.

There are a few ideas I have had planned for finishing the series, but I'm going to do a full rewatch to see if there are any other loose ends I need to tie up in the finale. Once written, I have to reach out to the voice actors (as well as record Allegra) and work on backgrounds (noooooooooooooo 😭). After that, for those of you new to the process, I edit all of the voice acting and start making each part of the arc! I'm not sure how long this last one will be; after the script is finished, I'll have a better idea.

Arc 9 had such a positive outpouring of support from the community, so I thank all of you for being there for me while I made it 💖 I can't believe this series will be over this year, it's been quite the wild ride, and I'm so glad you all have been here with me 🥰
