My Dear Friends,
I am beyond excited to announce that we will be releasing our first song for listeners all over the world on August 4th!
It seemed fitting to have this first single be Lady Moon, since it’s the song that inspired this project in the first place, AND! If all goes well… the music video will be ready to release on the same day! Sarah is in the process of editing now and it looks beautiful. I snagged this still from the video shoot to be the single cover.

I’m very happy to report that things are moving forward! Our plans are shifting a little, so I wanted to give you guys a look at the big picture for this album release.
• We found a vinyl manufacturing company!
• Pictures are almost finished! Sneak peek coming soon 🫣
• Moving the release for the general public to spring 2023
• Planning an early exclusive release for Patrons and Kickstarter supports this October 🥳
• Moving the tour to spring 2023 so we have more venue options.

Friends, I’m blown away by your love and support. I never imagined this campaign would reach it’s second goal in less than 24 hours.
I spent most of the day just trying to catch my breath and think of how to tell you what I’m feeling.
I’m full of joy when I imagine you having your Records, CDs, Cassettes, posters, and Ts in hand.
My heart races when I think of having the opportunity to play for you in person and meet you face to face.
And now more than ever, I feel humbled by your support.

Dear Friends,
I am so proud and excited to share the finished masters for the record with you.
This time last year, I was just packing things up to head to the ranch and start recording these songs. Now here they are, recorded, mixed, and mastered. It definitely feels a bit unreal!
I couldn't have finished this phase without your love and support. Thank you for sending me so many kind messages during the unexpected twists and turns of this creative journey.
We're on to the next phase now, and I can't wait to get these songs into your hands in the form of CD and Vinyl! We'll be launching a Kickstarter very soon for manufacturing and album artwork (I used the clock pic as a place holder for now;).
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy listening to this album that you helped bring to life :)

Howard recommended a wonderful mastering engineer by the name of Dan Shikes, and we’re in the thick of sending mixes back and forth!
After spending so many hours shaping these songs, I have a good feel for how delicate they are. Dan has approached each one with a very tender touch, and it shows.
My greatest fear with mastering was that the songs would lose their dynamic beauty and feel squished. But the first batch of masters I got back made me cry. They were brighter, warmer and more dynamic than before.
I cannot wait to share them with you.

The mixes have been sent to the mastering engineer and we are officially on to the final phase of making this record!
During one of the last revisions I went for a walk in our neighborhood to listen. After I finished, I took my headphones off to take in the evening, and as I walked passed a large evergreen, I heard an owl hoot in the branches above me!🦉
I took it as a gift and a sign that it was time to move forward 🌝
I can’t wait to dive into the album art and the Kickstarter next! Thank you for all your support and encouragement, your kind messages and comments continue to carry me through each phase.

Dear Friends!
I had a great conversation with Howard recently, and he reminded me that part of what makes a self produced album special is it’s unique imperfections and the chance it gives people to hear the music the way the artist hears it.
I realized this was true for all my favorite albums and it helped me move into the final phase of mixing with confidence.
I can truly say I am pleased with and grateful for all that this album is. I’m proud of the part of my journey that it encapsulates… and I can’t wait to share it with you ❤️
If all goes well, I will finish the final phase of mixing this week. It feels crazy to say that out loud.

She Still Sings is probably the most delicate song on the project, and I enjoyed getting to put some of the knowledge I've gained to test in making sure I preserve that delicacy.
