Bonus scene!! Aaaaa!!! And as some of you may have noticed, I've reworked how the bonus scenes are posted on Patreon! I have all the links to the old ones and this one in the Bonus Scene chat for Rainbow Tier members! There's a whole big post in there about why I changed it too so read that if you haven't yet!

Look at that! It's a new area in the forest, a secret little village inhabited by strange magical creatures! What could this all be about? Who's to say!
I'm trying to be a little more abstract with the development updates because Chapter 8 is very story-focused and I don't wanna spoil too much before you guys get the chance to play it! There's a lot more progress happening behind the scenes than I'm showing you guys, especially this time around haha.

Here you'll find plenty of weird new monsters and perpetual thunderstorms. It even seems like Mitzi'll be tagging along to help guide our heroes! Let's hope she doesn't try anything...

After a (relatively short) hiatus, Chapter 8 has officially begun development! This one opens with a flashback, something that I haven't done since Chapter 5, surprisingly! I should also mention that the public release of Chapter 7 has gone up on the itch page! It also has a couple bug fixes. (plus Cecily gets an Adventurer's Database entry now!)
Look forward to more updates on Chapter 8's progress in the future, it's a lot more story-centric than 7 was haha.

Here's something kinda fun to show off before Chapter 8 development begins- This is the programmer art I had for the burp contest sidequest before SeaBea made actual good art for it! I don't usually do programmer art unless it's essentially required for the game to function, and as you can see, there's a reason for that.

It's about dang time, isn't it? Here's Chapter 7!
This one took a real long time to make!! Some of that was just because I was a lot busier with life stuff but also, there is a LOT here. It's not super long in terms of story stuff, but this is by far the most dense and intricate chapter to date.
This is also a huge update in terms of art- SeaBea went all out on this one!! This is hands-down the most new art featured in an update and on top of that, all of the old scene art from Chapters 1-3 have been completely redone!! A bunch of the character portraits have been changed too, overall the game'll feel like a breath of fresh air!
I know I mentioned last chapter that I wanted to really "finalize" the look of Evoria, but this is it. This is going to be the main hub for the rest of the game, and as such, there was a lot of planning and development time spent on making the city as interesting as possible. There's stuff to explore and fun secrets around every corner!
I've also added in a save for Chapter 7 if you lost your old one and/or don't wanna replay everything! It's in the official Evoria Chapter Select folder!

Evoria anniversary month!! Woohoo!! This is gonna be a big month for the game, what with SeaBea's awesome comic that you've already seen, this playable bonus scene inspired/loosely based on said comic, and the fast-approaching Patreon release of Chapter 7!
And yes, you read that right- this bonus scene is PLAYABLE!! Just like the one from the holidays! (Though I think this one is even longer than that one was!) I figured it was a good way to celebrate Evoria's two-year anniversary! There's plenty of secrets and some interesting bits, so be sure to comment and let me know what you guys think!!

Wow, it's been two years already!? That's crazy!!
Two years ago, I had some free time on my hands and inspired by other games like SomeBS, I decided I wanted to make my own fetish game with a legitimate attempt at a story. At first it got relatively mixed reviews, though there was a lot of positivity to it. A little while after that, SeaBea offered to start doing art for the game, and that's when things really took off. Together, with my needlessly intricate story outlines and developing and his amazing art and animations, the two of us have created something that I don't think either of us could've done justice on our own.
I am incredibly proud of where Evoria is now and I'm even more proud to announce that Chapter 7 is now in its beta testing phase!! (Everybody cheer for the beta testers!! Woohoo!!)
That means it's time for my usual credits spiel- I will credit you as your name on Patreon unless you comment or DM me asking me to credit you as something else! Anyone who is a member on or as of June 12th will be credited in the release of Chapter 7!
And that's not all!! I'm sure a lot of you have seen that this month's dev commentary is out as of yesterday, but this month's bonus scene is gonna be a special 2-year anniversary scene, too! It'll be playable, just like the one for the holidays was! That'll be coming some time over the week, so keep your eyes peeled!!

In the same vein as the museum- here's the theater, a place where you can re-watch old animations from earlier chapters! There are even extra little bits of dialogue from the party members after each movie, to kinda get into how they were/are feeling about the specific moment!
I've also got a development update on Chapter 7! I know it's been taking a while and I'm truly sorry about that. This chapter is deceptively large, and I really do believe that in terms of content, there's more here than ever before. (I clocked in almost 3 full hours after exploring everything it has to offer!)
However, we are in a later stage of development! I'm currently working on the "cosmetic changes" as I like to call them- Adventurer's Database entries, Museum replays, and more fish to catch in the fishing minigame. After these are done, we'll be in the beta testing phase and from there it's just polishing, bug fixing, and finalizing the game's credits sequence.
I don't want to put an exact date out yet, as there's still plenty more to be done, but I figure you'll be hearing a more solid outline of when we plan to release a little after next month's special anniversary bonus scene! We're in the homestretch, it won't be too much longer!

Along with a consistent hub area, Chapter 7 also includes a few sidequests! There's nothing -too- big, a lot of them are just small minigames or little goals to work towards while you're playing, but I think they're a neat addition that'll help flesh out the game! Chapter 7 as a whole is a lot bigger than it seems, too. I've realized while working on it that even though it has a relatively small main story, you could spend hours exploring the city, doing sidequests, playing minigames, and really seeing all the game has to offer!
Chapter 7 is really chugging along now, it'll still be a bit but we're getting closer and closer to its release!

SeaBea's been hard at work for Chapter 7, not only remaking a lot of old scene art, but also overhauling the character portraits for pretty much everyone in the game!! Here you can see a clear comparison (Old ones on the left, new ones on the right), with the new ones looking way crisper! Witnesses will present their testimonies, and then you'll get to look at all their statements individually and figure out where the contradiction lies! (As usual, it's very Ace Attorney haha.) Some of these lies may be trickier to find than others, so stay alert!

Though, some people think that her "perfection" really comes from the underhanded maneuvers and dirty tricks she pulls in the courtroom. Have you ever played Evoria and thought "This should be more like Ace Attorney?" Well, good news for you- a big part of the story in Chapter 7 is gonna be a fun courtroom-adventure style trial! From all her studying when she was younger, Naomi will take the role as the defense lawyer! (She's even got a fun new outfit, featured in one of SeaBea's pictures from a while back!)
