Hi everyone! It's been 2 years since my announced hiatus of Lewd by Daylight. Unfortunately, I didn't come back to work on it because I'm no longer a fan of Dead by Daylight. But I'm here to announce that I'm making a NSFW parody of Marvel Rivals properly titled: Harem Rivals.
The gameplay will be similar with LBD but instead of 1v1, it'll be 3v3 which will offer various skill combos by creating proper teams of heroes. It's still in early development and you can view the progress I've made for it in the #hr-dev channel on My Discord Server
Now you're probably thinking, "If you abandoned LBD, what makes you so sure that you won't abandon this one?"
Like with Sage's Cravings, which will finish development in November, I'll limit myself to making only stories for seven characters no matter how many new characters are released to prevent burnout.

Content Drops
Hi there. I'm sure you've noticed in these past few months that I've been uploading image content intended for the month's update but no actual updates for the game itself. I'm here to clarify a few things about it.
Indefinite Hiatus
During the first quarter of this year, I've been going on and off in developing the game and eventually stopped at around April. As much as I love playing DBD itself, I've fallen out of love and have gotten completely burnt out from developing LBD. This is due to its poor code structure, low support, and the overwhelming abundance of started stories but no definitive endings.
Poor Code Structure
I started developing this game as an absolute beginner. If you were here since Day 1, you would remember bugs such as making the game think you've won 23 times by spamming the skip button in battle, the main menu crashing if you change the background image, and Huntress getting stuck in a moaning loop during the milking game. These were all eventually fixed but the core codes they were sitting on were not. This eventually lead to visual diarrhea as I kept stacking code on top of code every time I add new content. This made it extremely difficult for me to fix new bugs as I have to dig up what's causing it unlike if I organized everything neatly when I first started.
Low Support
It usually takes me around 11 days to work on each update. As of writing, I'm only receiving a total of $174/month worth of support. Of course, you don't owe me anything as this all started as a passion project and I'm very thankful for all of the years you've stuck with me. Making a should've been 6-month project to last for more than 2.5 years and on top of that, helped me pay some bills! But due to my other project Sage's Cravings making around 6 times more than LBD, it's simply not worth powering thru the messy code to make a new update when I can just dedicate my time to the more organized and optimized and more supported project.
Overabunance of Characters
The game currently has over 20 character stories but not a single finished one. At the start of the project, I was extremely passionate of the game that I thought I could pull off making stories for each character in Dead by Daylight. But as the years go by, more and more new characters get added to DBD to the point that I can no longer keep up with it. I've learned from this mistake and decided to stick to only 7 characters in Sage's Cravings even if Valorant releases more characters so I can properly make endings for each character.
A Small Glimmer of Hope
I consider LBD in hiatus instead of abandoned because a different programmer has shown interest to it. Francis, a loyal member of the Discord server, have decided to pick up the project files so he can dissect and clean up the codes in his spare time.
One Final Deal
There are multiple HD artworks hand crafted by various artists readily accessible on my page which were uploaded these past few months. I spent hundreds of dollars to commission all of these, but you guys can get it for just $3. These will remain available as long as the page isn't deactivated yet.
Going Forward
I won't be deleting this page but I'll deactivate it on the 28th of October. If Francis successfully tidies up the messy codes, I'll reactivate this page and you can consider that as a signal that LBD is back in action and I'll be on a quest to finishing the 20 character stories that I've started.

I've been developing this game for more than 2 years now and I think I'll have to shelve this for quite a bit of time. The burn out is simply not fading away.
That being said, you've already been charged for this month so I'll be releasing the pics meant for this month's update at their full quality.

Yun-Jin x Dwight content is supposed to come this month but I keep finding myself tired every time I open the project files. Except typing out the story, I have not been able to work on this update at all and have realized that this is burn out. For that, I apologize.
As compensation, I'll be releasing the .PNGs for ALL patrons. I'll be sure to make next month's update to be filled with more content. I hope you all understand. Thanks for your continuous support!

Making a card based mini game was a lot tougher than I thought and so after more than 20 months of developing this game, I've missed a target release date for the first time.
With this, I am releasing an uncensored nude art at 2K quality of Yun-Jin for all Patrons at any tier as a token of apology. Rest assured, I haven't given up on this game yet and will continue adding new gameplay and story content as long as I get enough support.
