Along a winding path that meandered through a lush valley, flanked by ancient, towering trees and craggy mountains, the enigmatic structure of Golem Dam loomed into view. Its origins shrouded in mystery, this colossal stone edifice had withstood the ravages of time, its carved faces silently guarding the mighty river that flowed through its ancient stones. The locals, ignorant of its true purpose, marvelled at the craftsmanship of the dam but steered clear of it, fearing the strange clanking sounds and eerie echoes of gears and metal that emanated from within.
Generations of rulers had recognized the strategic importance of Golem Dam and stationed their garrison there, even though they remained oblivious to the dam's actual function. Perched high above the rushing waters, the guards dutifully patrolled the ancient structure, finding their assignment monotonous and uneventful. Little did they know that deep within the dam, hidden away in secret chambers, lay the true purpose of this enigmatic marvel.
Within the bowels of Golem Dam, ancient mechanisms whirred to life, harnessing the immense power of the river's current. In these hidden chambers, highly advanced mechanical golems were forged, their intricate gears and pistons powered by the relentless force of the water. These golems were no ordinary constructs; they possessed a level of sophistication and intelligence far beyond the comprehension of the locals or the garrison that guarded the dam.

Beneath the castle's timeworn facade, Szaragon's fanatic zeal drives him to commune with the abyss. His unholy pact with the kraken Zy'thrak, the Living Wave, echoes with impending dread. To awaken this ancient terror, he plans a grisly mass sacrifice upon an eerie altar within the castle.
Tonight, Castle Greyshore stands as a haunting stage where a dire fate awaits. The kraken's hunger, once dormant, stirs in the depths, waiting for the screams of those sacrificed to sate its appetite.
Brave souls, heed this call! The shadows of Castle Greyshore conceal not just the sins of the past, but a battle against impending terror. George
Mansion of the Trickster
A massive mansion filled with hidden rooms, secret passageways and props that would be ideal for a murder mystery, gala or hunt for a vampire. Join the feast but what is this, count Evermore has been stabbed in the cigar lounge? Were it those adventurers or can they find proof it was someone else?
Tutorial of the Blind
A house in a custom made Bag of Holding, that is a training ground for newly established Adventurers and is maintained by a powerful mage and his magical clones, the clones double down as the monsters. Visually the map is broken up in 5 parts, however, since it's fully magical in nature, it looks like it "annoys" the natural order
Train Fight!
Long, narrow battlemap of a train with steam locomotive, coal car, dining car, a couple passenger cars, and a caboose. Parallel maps for in-car level and top-of-car level, allowing al fresco shootouts and high-action hijackings. Have your Deadlands great train robbery encounter, your old-school rail heist, or remake The Train Job from Firefly...
The Vault of Souls
An infernal vault that could be associated with your blackstone castle. It would be a highly fortified/trapped area under that castle that is used to keep infernal contracts. Purpose of the map would be a high level Heist with a potential boss battle.
A Magical Meltdown
The Crystalline Reactor powering the Mad Mage’s underground hideout has begun to overheat and melt down! Will the many winding corridors radiating from the reactor room lead to the supplies needed to quell the impending explosion, or to magically mutated monstrosities? A radial map with a central reactor room connected to key areas like a control room, storage areas, an energy distribution center, and many experimentation chambers containing fell magics within.
The Cursed Citadel of Gond
This proud fortress was once the home of a clan Zirid. Located close to a quarry in a secluded valley, it embodied the pinnacle of clan Zirid’s art of shaping stone and crafting great wonders, like their sacred grove of stone at the heart of the citadel. The few descendants of clan Zirid that still live in the area centuries later do not dare to enter the old fortress. Something evil lurks there.
Castle Greyshore
Ruined castle for undead and/or kraken cult. Built on a cliffside, halfway to actually breaking apart and falling down into the water. Sections connected by rope bridges, big waves/sharp rocks beneath (or the maw of a kraken)
Stonehenge
A large stonehenge with a sacrificial altar in the middle, set on different terrains like grassland, forest etc.
The Evil Cheese Factory
With Cow barn and pasture fields nearby, a room for curdling the milk and working it, a room for draining and molding, a salting room, a very large maturing cellar and of course a tasting area and shop for customers.
At night, hooded people enter through a secret entrance located under the large Cheese Bell, joining underground rooms (usual alchimist and Magic stuff, laboratory,...) to continue their evil experiments in order to create... An elemmenthal (Yes, an elemental made of Cheese...)
Island of the Elves
An island that has been concealed from the outside world by the magics of the Elves. It as a beauty to behold, both above and below the waves. Above the waves, the Wood Elves live in the forest that surround the High Elves city, while below the sea is the realm of the Sea Elves. Both parts of the island resonate with Elven beauty and charm.
The Remade Fortress
A large fortified settlement that was clearly ruined and had been patched up multiple times by scavenging things from the buildings and ruins surrounding it. Living quarters enough for soldiers and their families are inside along with training grounds and makeshift weapons to attack beseigers. Underneath, a hidden exit through so that people can leave and gather the materials they need to keep patching up the fortification generation after generation
The Rookery
A large dark fortress/cathedral- graveyard/mausoleum devoted to the followers of the Raven Queen in her aspect of Goddess of Death and Secrets. Blackwing Paladins and Sisters of Secrets reside, train, worship, recruit, and stand vigilant against undead and undeath in all forms.
Hamirfell Ranch
A retired Paladin and landed knight began breeding and training Warhorses of all types on his demesne. The lands he watches over are a well defended mountain valley that borders civilized lands and less hospitable reaches. His family and men-at-arms are all heavily involved in the endeavor of breeding and training the mounts. Many a Paladin-Warhorse/Companion Steed has come from the Hamirfell Ranch and high gentry pay handsomely for a mount of the line... A moderate sized lodge/ranchhouse/fortified farm/ large many stalled stables/ training rings and grounds...
Shipwrights of Draknirjar
A rocky and rustic beachside shipyard with several small buildings, and colorful sailcloth tents, but most prevalent are the viking-esque ships (in varying phases of completion) seemingly growing in haphazard form and location along the beach... each with its own direct line to the water upon completion... a single long pier/dock with room for only two longships to tie up at a time... A central hearth/foundry and forge... all of Draknirjar (dragonborne) design.
The Harbor Quarter
A multi-purpose map of docking area, maybe one contor-warehouse and neaby club/tavern and same backalleys behind

Beneath the crumbled remnants of the once-thriving city of Eredia, lies a place both haunting and hopeful: The Halls of Eternity. Once a symbol of grandeur and prosperity, Eredia now stands as a testament to the passage and the fall of a once mighty kingdom.
Within these hallowed halls, reside the only respite for those humans cursed with a form of undeath known as The Betrayed. Trapped in a never-ending existence that inexorably leads to madness, their haunted eyes hold tales of woe and despair, memories of lives unlived and dreams unrealised.
Those who seek relief from the eternal torment of their cursed existence willingly submit to the rituals of the priests. Ancient spells that ensconce the supplicant in a kind of stasis, suspending them between the realms of life and death, their suffering momentarily eased. A fleeting salve, while the wisest amongst The Betrayed channel their collective power in search of a cure.

I hope you're all having a fantastic day because I've got something really special for you today. I'm thrilled to release yet another remastered map, and this time, it's Aldur's Redoubt!
Let's take a trip down memory lane to March 2020, during those challenging quarantine days. Aldur's Redoubt was my little fortress of solitude, my way of coping with the world. 😄
Looking back, I can't help but marvel at how much my style and techniques have evolved over the past three years. It's a journey of growth and improvement that I'm eager to share with you all.
In fact, I'm planning to create a video where I compare these two maps and discuss the valuable lessons I've learned along the way. I hope it will inspire and assist you in your own mapmaking endeavors. Keep an eye out for that one!
What’s Coming up in August?
The a theme chosen by all of you wonderful folks is: Cursed Catacombs and Haunted Tombs! I can already feel the spine-chilling excitement building up! 😱
To make it even more thrilling, I have something special in mind. We'll be venturing into our first 'Mega Dungeon,' where all four major releases will come together to form one massive, interconnected dungeon! It's going to be epic, and I can't wait to get started.
If you're as excited as I am (or even more), let's get the brainstorming session going on our Discord channel. Jump in, share your ideas, and let's collaborate to create something truly remarkable together. Every single idea is incredibly welcome, and your contributions will make this experience even more exceptional.

Thank you all for being the driving force behind my passion for mapmaking. Your support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful to have you on this journey.
In the Time of Sorrows, a shroud of shadow descended upon the majestic dwarven holds nestled within the unforgiving Stoneheart Mountains. Betrayed and forsaken by the outside world, their mighty gates were closed, and their inhabitants retreated into seclusion.
Yet amidst the prevailing silence, a few dwarven communities persisted, defying the tides of time. One such bastion was Tor Immrek, a beacon of hope in the face of adversity.
These resolute dwarves, setting themselves apart from their subterranean brethren, bore the name of Dur-urngor, "The Unearthed" in the common tongue. Rather than surrendering to the shadows, they chose to stand tall, preserving the flickering flame of dwarven heritage in the midst of a harsh and unfriendly realm.
Greetings, you rather wonderful patrons!
I am pleased to unveil the crowning jewel of our highly awaited Return to the Fallen Kingdom series - the fourth and final release!
It has been truly awesome to flesh out more of these locations over the last few months and I am very pleased to present to you this latest offering: Tor Immrek
Behold, this marvelous settlement/battlemap, intricately crafted as a dwarven village, ripe with boundless adventuring possibilities! Prepare to immerse yourselves in its rich tapestry of stories and challenges that await the brave souls who dare to venture within its boundaries.

Straddling the only navigable waterway into the Ebonlorë (Darkwood in Common) the Rivenroar Trading Post commands access to the vital River Telyssë. Any who seek to pass the River Gate do so at the pleasure of the Goldscale Company, a neutral consortium of various races, who extract a substantial tithe for every trip.
Whether a ship of the fearsome Draknirjar, brimming with warriors eager to test their metal against the many savage beats of the Ebonlorë or a pondering barge of the Merchant Lords in search of timber, all must pay what they owe.
Rivenroar Trading Post then is a critical point of control and leverage, and those that cross the Goldscale Company risk much indeed.

Hi all!
It is my very great pleasureto present to you our latest map for our current theme: The Fallen Kingdom.
The Rivenroar Trading Post is largely a product of our recent Worldbuilding Round Table on Discord. We envisioned a remorse trading/quest hub on the edges of a dark and savage forest, its unique geographical position offering it immense leverage amongst the major factions of The Fallen Kingdom.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that took part in the roundtable and helped shape this idea as it has given much needed colour to a part of the Fallen Kingdom that has received little attention until now.
Specifically I would like to thank Fallingdoc, who not only named this settlement, but wrote the vast majority of the lore for it!
The Fallen Kingdom and Legend Keeper
For those of you that are yet to see The Fallen Kingdom over on Legend Keeper here is a little snapshot of where Rivenroar is and its surroundings.
The content for this setting is still very much a work in progress but you can see more of our progress HEREand of course if you want to get involved in the discussion then jump over to Discord to join in!

Today I have for you the second big release for our theme of The Fallen Kingdom, The Swamp of Sorrows.
For those of you who don’t know, in the campaign setting we have been putting together on Discord, the Swamp of Sorrows is a large expanse of swampland in the south of the continent.
Home to a wicked coven of hags called the Night Sisters, the swamp earned its name from the annual tithe of sacrifices that are led into fetid waters every year since the Great Fall. Presented at the Stone of the Sisters none of the poor unfortunates are ever seen again.
If you want to learn more about the campaign setting that we are putting together and get involved in some world building, we are holding a live chat session on our Discord Server later today at 8pm GMT. Click HERE to join.
Hope to see you over there!

I also wanted to invite you to a roundtable next week where we will be discussing, on voice chat, our ideas for the setting, fleshing out the lore and quite literally filling in the blank spaces!
The roundtable will be held on Thursday 13th July at 8pm GMT on our Discord Server, you can RSVP to the eventHERE
A Short Introduction to The Fallen Kingdom
In a world where time has cast its long shadow, the fallen echoes of a once glorious kingdom still resonate in the hearts of those who dare to remember. It has been over 200 years since the Kingdom's demise, and the lands have grown veiled in darkness, shrouded by the passing of ages.
Once, the Kingdom reigned supreme, its dominion stretching across vast territories. But now, mere whispers of its former might remain, fading into the realm of folklore and legend. The settlements that survived the cataclysmic fall are but small and isolated, clinging to their existence as remnants of a forgotten era.
In the heart of this desolation, atop his malevolent throne, sits Athiar, the shadow dragon. His city, Farnor, stands as a cursed monument, surrounded by an eerie expanse of darkness that warps the very fabric of the land. Once its greatest protector, the mighty dragon has become its greatest doom.
But Athiar is not the sole harbinger of darkness. The Night Sisters, a sinister coven of hags, have seized control over the Merchants Lords of Mytos and much of the southlands. Their dominion is marked by fear and the demand for sacrifices from the cowed populace.
Meanwhile, the Vampire Princes, deceived by the shadow dragon's false promises, have begun to rebuild their strength. Cheated of their rightful prize, they harbour deep resentment and a burning desire to reclaim what was once promised to them—the Kingdom itself.
In the wake of betrayal and lost wars, the dwarves have retreated into their strongholds, nursing their wounds and brooding over the treachery of the humans during the fall. They await their moment to emerge once more, their anger simmering beneath the surface.
Across the treacherous seas, the Dragonborn Islands have become infested with bands of murderous pirates. Lawlessness and chaos reign supreme in these once peaceful waters, as they seize the opportunity presented by the fallen kingdom.
The Elves of the Southlands, a dwindling race, have become more akin to myth than reality. Their presence now relegated to the hushed tales whispered within tavern walls, they are but a distant memory of a bygone era.
Yet, amidst the encroaching darkness, a glimmer of hope endures. The Order of the Golden Talon still stands strong within Drakefell Keep, guarding the last heir of the royal bloodline—the Exiled Princess. Their loyalty unwavering, they plot her triumphant return, ready to challenge the suffocating grip of the dark powers.
Within the shadows of the fallen kingdom, heroes shall rise, and legends will be forged. The fate of these lands rests upon those who are willing to brave the encroaching darkness, for within their hands lies the power to either revive the glory of old or witness its eternal entombment. Welcome to the Fallen Kingdom, where the echoes of the past dance with the terrors of the present, and the promise of a future hangs in the balance.
—
All ideas and input are very welcome, nothing is set in stone! With that in mind I look forward to a great world building session.
Two centuries have passed since our order was exiled to this bleak rock in the midst of an unforgiving sea. Two hundred years we have stood looking to the eastern horizon, yearning to reclaim our honour and our home.
Drakefell Keep may be the last redoubt of order in these cursed lands, but it is in Drakefell Harbour that we will find our salvation. Long has it called to us…beckoning…pleading for us to take ship and sail hard. Sail for the lands we have lost, sail for the shore none of us have stepped upon, sail for our fallen kingdom.
Now is that time brothers…..

UPDATE 14/02/24 - I have updated all of the map files for all tiers as I stopped a cropping error with the Ground Floor maps for all variants and a missing staircase on the second floor.
Hi all!
Today for your viewing pleasure, I have for you the first big release for our new theme: The Fallen Kingdom.
For those of you that don’t know, The Fallen Kingdom is a campaign setting that this patreon community have been pulling together for a while now and I’m excited to create the first map for one of the named locations!
Drakefell Harbour is a small port, hidden away on a rocky island of the same name, and serves to protect the last stronghold of a once mighty order of paladins.
While designing this map I wanted to have a location that could serve as a quest hub as well as a battlemap. It could be a great first port of call (pun intended) when playing in this setting, requiring the players to gain the trust of the inhabitants before they are allowed to pass the bastion to seek out the paladins further inland.
At any rate this maps have tons of uses regardless of setting and I would love to hear what you plan for this either in comments or on Discord!

I just want to let you know that these error have now been fixed, as of 02/07/23.
If you have anymore problem do let me know on Discord and Ill sort it ASAP.

Built by Lord Enrick the Young four centuries ago to thwart the continuous raids of the savage mountain tribes of the north, this old castle stood watch over the Pale Talon Pass through countless crises. Although challenged many times, the old walls stood unbroken and the castle’s garrison undefeated.
Located in a remote pass, the Fangburg rose to fame harbouring hundreds of civilians during the GreatOgre Wars. The castle’s garrison over time became simply known as the Pale Knights. First inspired by the name of the pass, the title quickly became legendary as did the order itself.
As years past, the lands surrounding the bastion slowly fell to darkness and decay, and though unable to stop it, the Pale Knights evolved to meet a new threat. Venturing beyond the Great Gates to cull the twisted monsters and dark creatures that now stalked the land, lest their bulwark be overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
Though brave and valorous, the order’s strength dwindled. Forgotten by the wider world, fewer initiates arrived to replace those lost in their great struggle.
It is not known what finally felled the mighty Fangburg, butrumours abound of a malicious darkness. A creature of some malign intent, able to infiltrate the keep only to bring ruin upon those within…
…
Hi all!
Happy Thursday and all that!
Today I have for you our 4th and final release for this month’s theme: Ancient Ruins.
This map began life as a joint suggestion by two of your fellow patrons Nep0muk and Gatorguyy over on our Discord server, and it is them you can thank for much of the lore on this one!
Fangburg is a ruined citadel that lies across a mountain pass, channeling both Helm’s Deep and Castle Black vibes. The derelict home of the Pale Knights, it stands in testament to a long past ages of heroes.
The giant crater in this map certainly speaks to the reason for the castle’s fall but i’ll leave that up to you :D
