This Livestream is scheduled for one hour. It will take place on the Stone Fox Studios Discord in #dev-streams voice channel.
We're currently provisioned for 40 attendees, but I don't think we'll have that many. We've done our best to schedule this for a time our European friends can reasonably join us, but extend our apologies to our Aussie friends.

Depending on how many people show, the channel will be moderated, with only devs having a speaking voice. We will answer questions via chat for as long as we can.
You can pre-submit questions for the Q&A in the #questions-for-dev-streams channel on our Discord server. We'll try to capture as many questions and answers as possible to sticky to the #general channel for those who cannot make it.
Unfortunately, for now we do not plan to record our streams for later viewing.

Today marks the soft-launch date of Stone Fox Studios' first game "Chasing Sunsets."

Kentyrr and I would like to extend a warm welcome to our founding patrons and our eternal thanks to Ugulugulu and PandaDrummer for helping us get to this point.
Kentyrr and I have disabled all tiers over $10 until our product intro is released. We cannot, in good conscience, accept larger contributions until we can give our patrons something in return.
In the meantime, whether you sub or not, we welcome you to our Discord channel for conversation, art, and the most frequent updates on where we are with the launch!
You may also consider this post an invitation for Q&A. If you have questions about the game, feel free to ask. We will obviously steer clear of spoiler territory.
"Soft Launch" means that we are currently socializing our project to an audience we know will appreciate our work, but do not have a demo to download yet.
The project status for version 0.1 stands as follows:

You are welcome to join our Discord without patronage as our primary goal is to generate interest in our project ahead of launch. That said, we will not say "no" if you decide to contribute early. We just wanted to be crystal clear on where the project stands as of this writing. (Thanks Shuddermania!)
For future updates, I will be looking at tools that will allow me to show graphs that provide a better visual indication of where development stands.

Well, not really...
Kentyrr and I started this as a proof-of-concept about two months ago.
Since then, we've developed a story arc, a clean and professional-looking UI, a stat tracking system, and a slew of interesting characters to populate our world.
Additionally, we have brought in a few trusted fans to sanity check us and provide feedback against competing projects from other developers working toward the same target demographic.
Here's what you can expect from the project under development:
-Beautiful artwork
-A compelling story with meaningful and believable consequences for player actions
-Proofread dialogue and narrative. Quality matters.
-Lots of sexy, intriguing, and emotional story. We will pull no punches on delivering a scene.
-Commitment to learn: We know our skills will advance as we tell our story. We promise not to abandon the project or continually stop content progression so we can go back and bring previous content up to our new standards.
-Adult content. This is targeted at an 18+ fan base.
-Avoiding overused VN tropes, including (but not limited to):
- -Impossible model anatomy
- -Application of sunscreen or a casual massage always leading to sex
- -Spin the Bottle or Truth or Dare leading to the same
- -Women losing all capacity for critical thought at the sight of a penis
- -Low-effort harem-building

Lastly, a special dedication in memory of Chatterbox, who tragically passed during the development of the Lexi project: Kentyrr was working to perfect a tribute to Lexi when we met, and our partnership was built on the bond that arose from that.
