Something is wrong. Patreon is not paying me. I've been trying to withdraw for 3 months now and I just keep getting an error message. I've been emailing with the help center but it hasn't yielded.

To be honest it's a real bummer. I don't feel motivated to make audios at all. I don't even have any fun or creative Ideas or anything. I won't be posting audios for a while. At least a month.

So, I'm going to pause billing for the foreseeable future. You'll still be able to listen to the audios I have posted in the past and any updates i post in the future. You just won't be billed for it.

I can only pause for one month at a time. So come April 6th I will come back and pause billing again. If you subscribed on the 6th of the month you might be charged, I'm not sure.

I've also taken the the IOS charge off of you and onto me. I doesn't matter since I'm not seeing the money away.

Just to be crystal clear: I have money in my Patreon account, it's just not letting me withdraw any of it. I don't know why.

SO YEAH! Um, things kinda suck right now lol. It feels like youtube and Patreon are telling me to stop doing audios. So that might be what's coming next. If I do decided to fully quit, I will let you know beforehand.

30% Cost Increase

So, in order for Patreon to stay on the Apple store, Apple is forcing Patreon to give 30% of the money from new memberships and purchases to Apple. However, that is only if you use patreon on IOS.

If you do it from a web browser, or from the android play store or something like that, everything will stay the same. If you are subscribed to me or anyone else on patreon on an apple device, please unsubscribe and resubscribe on a web browser. When it makes the most sense for you to do so, of course.

Doing this will either save you money or save the creator money. Patreon will give us, the creators, the opportunity to either put this 30% on you, the supporters, or to take the cut from our own earnings pool.

Clearly, this is really unfortunate since Patron already takes 11% and Apple wants to take 30%. Which leaves 59% of what you guys give to us if you use IOS. But I believe Patreon has been fighting this for a long time.

I just checked and my prices on IOS have been automatically increased without my input. I will leave it increased like that but PLEASE bypass it if you can. There is NO reason for you to pay more when I'm not even benefitting from it. I don't think this is fair nor good business practice on Apple's part. But it is what is it.

Remember, you can bypass this by using Patreon anywhere but the IOS version of Patreon. I will link a video that explains this whole situation in a bit more detail.
