Good progress this week! All ready to take a little break for the holidays ❤️ We'll be taking our first break since we started MHF (Now that I think about it, it may be the reason I am a little burnt out) so if you don't see the progress bar moving for the next week you already know why. Don't worry though, We'll just be taking this next week off. Following the break we'll kick off the next year with everything geared up and prepared!!

I ain't gonna lie, this week was a slow one. Nothing bad really happened to me or any member of the team, so there is no drama around (at least not this time) I'm trying to find balance and handle things better. I personally want to bring as much content as we possibly can to the game without taking too long to deliver it, but sometimes I take too much time on one single animation, moving stuff around and changing the idea completely to make it as perfect as I can even with all the Koi limitations. I'm still struggling to find a balance between good quality and not taking three days on a single animation loop.

In some better news, we are working on something special coming this month. It might be hilariously late, but I think you will love it.

If you are an Awake member keep an eye out for the next week. We didn't forget about the wallpapers, the poll for the prior months and this month will be up soon! So expect a lot of special wallpapers this month.

I noticed many people having issues with the MC model. I already made a few modifications to his face to better fit the general aesthetic. Please keep sharing your thoughts and honest criticisms. Our vision for MHF is to be the best Koi AVN possible, so every little comment you make to improve this is always appreciated. We went through the game and found some of the issues people were reporting, like the mix of some routes with others, free-use problems, and more. So if anyone was wondering yes, we are paying attention to every single comment about MHF, good or bad, and taking note of what we can do to keep improving it <33 So please keep sharing your feedback!!

I noticed a lot of people having issues with the launcher. Make sure you uninstall the previous version and don’t close the launcher while it’s downloading. We are going to keep making improvements to it, and if it’s still too annoying for the majority we’ll only keep the launcher for Android players because its the best way we’ve found to avoid the 2GB APK size limit. On Windows, Linux, and Mac theres no app size limit we need to worry about.

As for progress, we’re keeping it steady. Version 0.12 will have a lot more content than 0.11 because it marks the start of a route. The last update as the trailer said focused more on quality of life improvements.

The update will finally be available for everyone next week!!! So keep an eye on it. We are expecting a lot of traffic, but since we updated the website and launcher server we haven’t had any issues. I really hope it can handle the traffic once it’s free to the public. (If not, plan B is to release the update using the old method while we work on fixing it)

This week’s progress has been much better than last week’s. Thank you to everyone who understands how difficult it can be to cope with the loss of a close relative <3 At the end of the day it’s just part of life, and it’s also what gives life any sort of meaning and purpose

I’m personally very excited about this update. It will have a different tone and unique action scenes compared to the other routes along with a main storyline mission. (Finally some proper main storyline quests!!)

Still working hard to finally bring more official languages to the game. Progress this week has been a bit slow due to some close relatives of our team passing away. Dealing with the loss of someone close makes writing more challenging than usual. We will make sure to deliver on what we promised though. Thank you for your understanding.

We encountered some major issues with the translations once again, so we decided to hire a professional company to translate the game into different languages. For all our Russian, Chinese, and Portuguese/Brazilian fans, just wait a little longer, and we will finally have an official translation of MHF in the base game.

In other news, as the last post mentioned, this update will focus on content (and also some special events for the current season). We want to make sure this one doesn’t take as long as the last one, but as always, we won’t compromise quality in the process.

Your eyes don’t deceive you. We are now officially starting to work on Tatsumaki's route!




The launcher is now stable and working properly. Aside from a few members who were experiencing very specific issues, we solved most of them and improved the website loading and launcher download speed. Of course, the real test will come when the public version of the 0.11 is released, and many more people start downloading the game simultaneously. But we’re prepared for that... or at least, I hope we are prepared for that (ᗒᗣᗕ)

For now, almost all our resources will focus on content, content, and more content! The last update was primarily focused on the website, launcher, redoing the gallery, and adding more features to the game. But, in this next one, you can expect a lot more events, animations, renders, and playtime.

After extensive testing with the launcher, we’re now ready to put it to the ultimate test. The website is live for everyone to download the current version in its launcher form! This will help us test the limits of our current server.

WHERE THE HELL IS THE UPDATE?!

Good news and bad news. Let’s start with the bad: the update is not ready yet. Now, with the obvious out of the way, the good news is that the launcher is finally working! We went through different servers to host our files and encountered problems with the number of downloads it could handle, but now all of that is resolved, and we’ve successfully managed to get the launcher version working. Now, we just need more testing and some final touches on the website.

Next week, we’ll begin the first server stress test. So, if any awake patrons want to help test the launcher, stay tuned!

Democracy speaks once again, and the people have decided. Tatsumaki will be the focus of the next route (0.12)! 

I honestly thought Bulma was going to take the win, but Tatsumaki enjoyers showed up to the rescue and swept the polls

We're still working on the page and launcher. All the new content, script, animations, and renders are ready. Now, we're just testing and fixing the launcher, experimenting with it. It's a fairly new Ren'Py feature, so Coconut Head is doing his best to make it work.

As soon as we have the launcher and website ready, we’ll let the beta testers try it out to make further changes if needed or fix any issues.

As an apology for taking longer than expected, we are going to start releasing sneak peeks for everyone! Go to our Discord and look for the #sneak-peek-free channel.

The whole launcher and website are taking longer to develop than expected. In order to start testing the launcher properly, we need to have a capable host and the website running, so we're still focusing on getting that done before we start sending the 0.11 beta to Awake members.

Even though this isn't really 'new content,' having it ready is key to implementing future ideas. It will allow us to bypass the 2GB APK size limit, which means we can break free and start adding lots of new content without worrying about people not being able to play it on Android or having to do app gymnastics to play the Windows version using an emulator.

Thank you for everyone's patience <3 We honestly didn't think it would take this long, but once we have all the infrastructure ready, some very cool things are going to start coming in the next updates.

The script is done! You can expect new dialogue options with characters that were missing some, as well as new events around the world. We are almost finished with the official website, once that is done we can continue testing the launcher. We really want to make sure the website and launcher are completed before releasing version 0.11 so we may need more time to work on that part. Aside from that renders and new animations are almost ready, and the voice acting for new scenes is being made as you read this <3

On Monday September 16 the next character poll will be up, so make sure to head over to Discord and exercise your right to vote (✿◠‿◠) especially if you are a patron supporter and want to fight for your favorite characters that don't yet have a route
