Time for a little honesty about our game progress. I really think that it is important to keep you all in the loop.

I've been wrestling with burnout, (mainly because of my terrible time management tbh) Some days I work nonstop for 14 hours like a caffeinated raccoon, and other days my brain decides to take a nap when I try to concentrate on writing or creating cool camera angles

Starting next week, I'm locking myself in until the update is ready, and as you guys can see the update is almost done. We've hit a few bumps, like our Russian translation coming to a halt. But good news! We've found someone else who's interested in picking it up, fingers are crossed it all works out 🤞

I truly appreciate everyone's understanding. Rest assured, I'm making sure that version 0.10 isn't rushed and that the quality keeps improving. Thanks for sticking with us and supporting us in every way! <3 <3

Bumpy week, but we are still doing the work. For all our beloved Russian fans, we have some bad news to share.

Almost two months ago, we announced that the Russian translation had officially started. We were very excited because we know that a big portion of people who enjoy MHF are Russians. We even have the Russian language button prepared since version 0.2.

Recently, the person who was working on it told us he could not continue due to serious personal issues. So we are looking for someone who wants to translate MHF into Russian. If anyone is interested, please let us know on Discord. You can tag me (Christof) or any of the staff.

We are going at a very nice, steady speed. At this pace, the update should be ready in about a week and a half, which is a nice improvement from the last one. I have been reading the suggestions on Discord, Patreon, and itch.io, and there are a lot of things people have suggested that, funnily enough, we are working on right now <3 (along with bug fixes, as always).

My Hentai Fantasy 0.9 PUBLIC

This version starts Rebecca's route, adds 'Mirai Free Use', and one extra small feature to the free use: pillow talks. Mirai will now be available in her room (left door in the living room). She will be there in case you want to talk, tell her your problems, or maybe receive a little special treatment <3

IMPORTANT:

• If you don't see any task available for Rebecca, try to go to the city to start the event. If that doesn't fix it. then you may need to start a new save file (Choose the option 'Skip to new content' to avoid playing it all over again)

• Remember that old save files tend to cause problems with the new updates, so to avoid this issue please start a new game with the option "skip to new content" That way you don't need to play it all over again.

Steady progress. I went a little too far with the amount of detail in the new animations, taking a full day just to animate 10 seconds. Not only that, but I've also noticed that I am starting to reach the limits of what is reasonably doable in terms of animations in Koikatsu. I was struggling with a "simple" cowgirl pose for the upcoming Rebecca free use because I wanted to achieve realistic penetration physics. It took far more time than it should for a single 10-second animation loop. But at least I experimented and learned a lot from it.

Coconut Head is still refining the code to optimize all the screens in the game, that should fix some performance issues and fix the weird bug when previously watched scene appear for half a second when you click on a screen.

Special Nami animation WIP 1

I don’t normally post WIPs because I like to wait until the whole animation is finished before sharing anything about it. However, this one is definitely special.

Remember the apology animation poll? Well, as you can already tell, Nami was the winner! I've been working on this a lot more than I anticipated, to be honest.

I will take it slow because the goal is to create a short animation with its own story. This is the first time I have ever done something like this, and let me tell you, I really underestimated the amount of work involved. So, I will take it slow on this one, especially since I also need to work on the 0.10 animations and renders. I’ll be posting the WIP as I make progress with it.

To make sure everybody is prepared for what is coming next. You can expect Rebecca's free use in this version, as well as more scenes and animations that are not related to Rebecca's route.

We've also found a way to optimize the game even more for people who have been experiencing performance issues. It will require rewiring a bunch of stuff, but it is a top priority for us right now.

This double wallpaper release is special! I tried a different concept with the Android 18 wallpaper; it is also the first wallpaper aimed at mobile users. As always, there are different versions available.

We've officially started working on the 0.10 update! This will be the first time that the whole team is working on MHF full-time! So, expect this update to arrive much faster and to include more content. Our time management honestly sucked, and although we are still developing a good workflow, I can confidently say that we are now much more comfortable trying new things, like producing better quality renders and animations, adding more mini-games, and embracing bolder storytelling, quests, and paths.

We aim to ensure that MHF is one of the best AVNs ever made with this Koikatsu art style. It won't be easy, but we are up for the challenge <3

Known issues:

-Mirai's free use is missing voice acting: There were a lot of issues with Mirai's recordings, but we didn't want to wait any longer for the update to be delivered, so we only added the sound effects and posted it like that while her free use is being recorded once again.

APOLOGY ANIMATION

As you already know the official release for the beta was delayed from the 5th to the 6th. This is my way of apologizing for it and trying to make it up to all of you who support us ❤️. But I'm not making an apology video singing with a ukulele. My way of saying 'my bad' is by creating the best 4K animation I can with the poll winner.

(The poll includes the most popular characters among the MHF community, at least the ones that I notice are very popular)

0.9 BETA will be available on Friday 5th (9:00 pm PT)

After a lot of issues this past 2 months we are now finally close enough to announce a date for the beta test, it will be ready for beta testers and any awake member who wants to test the beta version to find new bugs on the build. (The beta test lasts for about a week, after that it will launch officially for purple patrons, then cyan and the unconscious)
This update is packed with new content, including:

• Mirai free-use

• More options for Power's free-use

• The introduction of Rebecca's route

• Significant improvements to the text bar and options menu

  I know this update took more than anticipated. But now we've made substantial adjustments to our workflow, and not only that, but we can finally say that we are working on MHF. Post version 0.9 you can expect more frequent updates, our goal is to release monthly updates as initially promised, without compromising on quality <3

Last week was a tough one for us due to some unforeseen personal issues, leading to less progress on the game than we hoped for. We want to be upfront about this because your trust and support mean everything to us.

But don't worry too much, we're back and operating at full force! Our focus is sharper than ever, and we're committed to making up for lost time. The next update is our top priority, and we're pushing hard to have it ready for you by the end of next week.
