January videos

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to share the list of videos we have planned for this month. We’re kicking off the year with a lot of energy and a wide variety of content. I can't wait to start recording these videos so you can enjoy each one.

• We’ll begin with a basic-level video on how to place magnets. After many trials and errors, I've developed a simple, quick, and clean technique. It took me some time to perfect it, but now I can share it with you so you can master it easily.

• The second video will be an advanced-level tutorial where we'll paint the bust portrait of the actor who played the Penguin. We started this project last month, and now we'll give it a more realistic touch.

• Continuing with the advanced level, we'll have a video on how to paint Drax's skin. Using references from the movie, we'll aim for a realistic look, exploring various tones and textures. I’ll also show you how I paint Drax’s tattoos, adding intricate details to the figure.

• Another video this month will focus on painting Drax's clothing, including his pants, boots, knives, and weapon. Additionally, in the same video, we'll work on the figure's base to give it a complete and detailed finish.

• To finalize the Drax figure, we’ll dedicate an entire video to the dragon on the base. This element plays a significant role in the figure, and we want it to stand out with fine detail.

• Moving on to the next figure, we’ll work on painting Robocop’s skin. Even though it's not very visible, achieving a realistic look is essential for the overall perfection of the figure. In this video, we'll also focus on the base.

• Finally, we’ll get to Robocop's metallic suit, a part many of you have been waiting for. I’ll teach you my technique to achieve that shiny finish and the various color tones that appear under different lighting.

• Before we wrap up, I want to remind you that a new entry will be available in the extra gallery, exclusively for subscribers who have been with us for more than three months. If you meet this requirement and still don't have access, feel free to message me. In this video, we’ll create realistic poison for the snake Nagini, which is part of the Lord Voldemort figure we painted last month. It will be quite a visual spectacle!

Lord Voldemort 3/3 outfit and base.

Today marks the release of my final video on painting the Lord Voldemort figure.

In this video, I'll walk you through the process of transforming Voldemort's robe. While I always remembered it as black, some behind-the-scenes research revealed that it's actually green. That detail made this project even more unique and fun to bring to life.

The base design deserves special attention. The Wicked team's concept of a book-shaped base for this iconic literary character is brilliant, but I decided to go for a more dramatic, scenographic style. I created a base years ago for a miniature, I remenber combined several free STL files to craft a staircase. After scaling it to fit Voldemort perfectly, the result is something that feels dynamic and immersive.

Tomorrow the final video about the figure of Lord Voldemort arrives

In this video, I'll show you the entire process of painting Voldemort's robes and how it will create a completely custom base.

Although I always thought his robe was black, researching behind-the-scenes images I discovered that it is actually green, a detail that made this project even more special and exciting.

The base also has a unique touch. Although the Wicked team's original concept, in the form of a book, is brilliant, they decided to take a more scenic approach. I remembered a base I designed many years ago for a miniature and remember combining several free STL files to create a ladder perfectly suited to the figure.

Lord Voldemort 2/3 Nagini

Hello everyone, I'm Javi and today I want to show you how I painted the Nagini figure. 

Painting something as detailed as a snake requires a lot of planning and prior study. I have taken care of all this so that, with this video, you can follow the process simply and without complications.

This tutorial is a little different from the others, as most of the work will be done with a brush.

 The details are very small and we want to achieve as clean and precise a finish as possible. However, don't think that this makes it boring. On the contrary, giving an organic touch to the snakeskin texture makes the process very entertaining and unique.
