The times, they are a-changing!
Greetings Cyberdog Patreons!
It's hard to believe that 2017 is slowly but surely coming to an end - the time has gone so incredibly fast, but at the same time it's been a truly groundbreaking year for me personally.
We've reached record numbers of subscribers on Youtube and Twitch, touched the lives of thousands of new Cyberdogs from all over the world and we've started up Minecraft Survival again which has made me and many others extremely happy!
All of this has been made possible by your support, and for this I want to take a brief moment to thank each and every one of you. From my Patreons who have been supporting me for over a year now to my brand new Patreons who have just come on board, THANK YOU for giving me the opportunity to entertain you as best I can for as long as I can! <3
I am writing to you today because I also need to let you know of some big changes coming to the ReNDoG Patreon community. These changes have to happen unfortunately due to new legal obligations we must comply to with regards to our fanserver, server.dogcraft.net.
Basically what it comes down to is that we can no longer sell digital currency on a Minecraft server, and that includes giving digital currency as a reward to Patreons.
What we CAN do is sell digital items that benefit ALL players on a server rather than individuals, and with this in mind we've come up with a new system we hope you're all going to love!
I've been working hard with my team to come up with this new currency system, and at the same time I've decided to make some changes to the rewards here on my Patreon. I'm going to break all of this down for you in the post below.
But before I do, I want to say to you guys that - if you decide to no longer pledge based on these changes, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND and it's totally cool!!
Once you have read through these changes, please take a moment to consider if you would like to continue to be a ReNDoG Patreon, and if you decide that the new rewards aren't your cup of tea then please contact me personally via the Patreon message system so I can refund you for your October pledge.
So without further a due, here are the changes to my Patreon Rewards as of October 2017:
Iron Level Patreon

⦁ Receive a Patreon Gold Level Boost on server.dogcraft.net (+5% DCD/hr for 1 month)
Emerald Level Patreon
⦁ All Gold Level Perks unlocked
⦁ Receive a Patreon Emerald Boost on server.dogcraft.net (+10% DCD/hr for 1 month)
⦁ Receive access to the Cyberdog Patreon Vlog Channel on Discord where you will work with RD and the group to help decide what will feature in ReNDoG's next weekly Vlog
Diamond Level Patreon
⦁ All Emerald Level Perks unlocked
⦁ GURANTEED SPOT in monthly Patreon multiplayer events
⦁ Receive a Patreon Diamond Boost on server.dogcraft.net (+25% DCD/hr for 1 month)
⦁ Receive a monthly 'rencrate' lootcrate in the mail that will contain a single special item personally selected by ReNDoG, along with a letter about the item's significance and about what's going on in the life of the ReNDoG!
So what's new here?
Server.dogcraft.net BOOSTS
The most significant change I have made to my rewards is that you will no longer receive a bulk transfer of Dogcraft Dollars on server.dogcraft.net each month. Instead, you will be 'boosting' the earnings of ALL PLAYERS on the server (including yourself) using our brand new Boost system.
Here's how it works:
All players now earn a base total of 10DCD per hour on server.dogcraft.net. When you buy a Boost from the webstore and activate it, you’ll increase the CURRENT DCD/hr total by the percentage you boosted! What’s even more awesome is that each boost will be applied to the current total earned per hour, so the more boosts that are active, the more EVERYONE earns on the server. What's more, Boosts stack with each other, so it’s exponential!
Boosts are sold on dogcraft.net and can last for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month. Your Patreon Boosts will always last for each full month you are a Patreon, giving you insane value considering a 24hr Boost would normally cost you $5 in the store!
Vlogs for the Patreons, by the Patreons
The second major change I have made to my rewards is something I want to try that will bring me closer to you guys at the Emerald and Diamond Levels. I will be producing a 5-10 minute vlog three times a month that will be released to all Patreons 24 hours before the rest of world.
The content of these vlogs is going to be influenced by Emerald and Diamond Patreons, who will have access to a private Discord Channel with me where they can share ideas for the current week's vlog. For example, we might do Patreon Q&A's, reading Youtube comments, etc.
Rencrates
Lastly, I will no longer be sending out rencrates in their current form to Diamond Level Patreons. Diamond Patreons will still receive something in the mail each month, but instead of it being a variety of items, the new rencrates will contain a single item of personal significance to me, along with a letter explaining the significance of the item while giving you an update on what's going on in my life.
Conclusion
I know it's a lot to take in Cyberdog Patreons, and I apologise for this wall of text! However, it's extremely important to me that you all understand the changes so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me via private message here on Patreon.
Finally as mentioned earlier, if these changes aren't to your liking and you decide to no longer pledge, please know that I am 100% cool with that! Your support up until this point has been incredible and has helped to take my 'career' to places I never thought possible, so I thank you all for it!
