I was on an rp-pvp server back in wrath, and there was this cross-faction mercenary guild whose rp was that they worked for the goblin cartels. One time they camped the boat that goes between Ratchet and Booty Bay, charging anyone who tried to ride a small fee for "repairs and maintenance". Anyone who didn't pay would get mind controlled off the boat. This lead to a massive open world pvp battle and three days of realm forum drama, lol
