This is our second story told in rendered picture if you count the rendered version of What's That Noise? as a story. I've done this as a wordless story. I have no idea how Patreon will format this so apologies in advance is this is hard to "read".

I'm also thinking I should start branding my renders. (Literally, adding a brand mark.) I forgot to put the titles/page numbers into the images this go around. I might revisit that later.

I'm planning to also post some bonus renders of the various statues seen throughout this story. There are 42 renders in these 10 pages of story. And that doesn't count any of the renders I threw out because they weren't what I was hoping for. Page 2, for example, went through several different layouts before settling on the one seen here.

Lighting is a bit inconsistent. The night setting really worked against a showcase of statues. Imagine that! Also, I changed how I do lighting between the first 7 pages, final renders created October 21 and the last 3 pages where the final renders were yesterday. Frankly, I could probably tweak these things for another year and still not be happy about it.

In any case, enjoy watching the jogger walk into the densely foggy forest because she heard a weird noise. What could go wrong? What could go right?
