got no clue where I'm meant to leave a comment lmao. I find from my perspective the biggest difference for me between anime and live action is that anime has a reliance on tropes being used as a crutch. So for a lot of shows the pervert annoying character is just an annoying pervert character. Like Mineta from MHA doesn't have much going for him he is just his trope. Mayuri from Bleach is just a mad scientist. Iruka from Naruto is just the stern but loving teacher. I agree characters in anime more then live action tend to show backstories but I think it's because live action would rather you get accustomed to the characters as the story continues while anime will give you a long flashback instead. Once you start watch more seasonal anime you start to really see how many times an anime has a character that is only the trope they are meant to embody.
