Community Update! 8/25/19
Added 2019-08-26 00:51:09 +0000 UTCHello everyone! It's been a few weeks since I've been able to upload, so I figured I'd take the opportunity here to give you all a bit of a peek into my world and let you know what's going on behind the scenes, as well as what you can expect to see next on the channel.
As far as what's been happening in my life, here are a few highlights:

First off, this week I finished a MAJOR restructuring of my game room storage! It might not look like much, but trust me, this was an absolute disaster before I started going through everything. I meticulously sorted every cord, cable, and controller in my collection, and now I have a solid system of organization that should help me keep my sanity and pull out subjects for upcoming vids more easily.

...And on top of that, I also recently finished this NES-themed mural! This painting is functional, too, as it's been made on a vinyl roller shade canvas which doubles as blinds for my studio. This means I can finally start recording during daylight and it won't mess with the colors/lighting of my footage.

Finally, some of you might have seen a bit of this project on Twitter (psst... follow me over there if you haven't already! https://twitter.com/Nintendrew_ ). Recently, I was commissioned to make some custom 4K GameCube mini gaming PCs for a collection of VERY high profile clients. The one pictured here is for Ninja! These computers are capable of emulating GameCube titles at 4K resolution over HDMI with original controllers. Pretty cool stuff! I'm hoping to make a tutorial video within the next month to show you all how to make something like this at home, too.
Speaking of upcoming videos...

Some of you might have also caught a glimpse of this ridiculous Daisy figure from a bootleg Super Mario Odyssey blind bag I found at a local flea market. The response was so positive to that post, I went and bought an entire box of this junk which I plan to open on-camera for you all! What have I gotten myself into... 😂
In other news, after my most recent video about the mClassic video upscaler, Marseille reached out to me and let me know they've fixed the 4:3 aspect ratio issue ahead of production! I have this new version of the mClassic in hand, and plan to do a quick follow-up video to show the new improvements.
Recently, I've also been thinking about branching out my content to more 'opinion-based' topics - a series which I'm tentatively calling "Drew's Views" (lol). The first video I plan to make for this series is a discussion about Google's upcoming Stadia service, and what my impressions of Stadia are from the perspective of a physical game collector.
Finally, I haven't forgotten about the 250k sub special!! I'm still planning to host a major giveaway as part of the celebration, and at this point it's just a matter of finding the time to plan, film, and edit everything together. At this rate, it might end up being a 300k sub special, but we'll see. 🙃
A huge thank you to all of you who choose to support the channel, and especially to those newer viewers who've been understanding with my recent drought of uploads. I've got a lot of work to take care of away from the camera, but hope to be back very soon in full force! Have a great weekend, and take care. 😄
