I almost didn't play Star wars outlaws because of your review and would have missed out on one of my most memorable experiences I've had playing a game in 30 years. Now with this game I'm seeing a completely different game then you. Still love your content but I guess I don't have the same taste in games anymore. 2024-10-31 17:29:15 +0000 UTCi'm gonna try to keep this succinct and above the belt. -one of matty's editors leaked Dragon Age footage prior to the embargo lifting -someone close to that editor reposted the footage has said or said hateful comments (racist/transphobic) about the game -this dragon age entry is potentially contentious because of it's inclusion of trans options in the character creator and more. so the mob tells you, if you don't like this game you must be a transphobe. even after enjoying the preview and hoping bioware would be great this time around, matty did not like the game. -people who are rooting for the game to succeed attempted to connect the dots saying matty is actually the hateful person and he purposefully leaked the content because he's a bigot and a transphobe and wants the game to fail -many people ganged up on matty prior to his response and personal investigation. -matty later broke down what happened in a full twitter post that is still up there now
