When we visited the Berserk exhibition earlier this month, we saw an original drawing (or more likely a copy of it) Miura had made for the cover of a doujinshi he released with his friends in late 2004. This reminded me that I had never posted that cover, so here it is.
The one displayed in the exhibition is in black and white, but the actual cover is colored as you can see. As reminder, it's in that doujinshi that you can find four illustrations from a Sci-Fi concept Miura had come up with. Those are also shown in the exhibition, but they're just strewn around a desk.
I'm also including a little drawing from that same book. It's a tribute from Akkiu, Mori Kouji's then girlfriend and now wife. It's a pretty funny depiction of Guts as a giant robot piloted by Puck. The text "いつかSF" is a reference to a little note from Miura about his own Sci-Fi concepts earlier in the book. Its implication is that he would someday do a Sci-Fi series. Alas, we did not get to see it.
