Deprivation of air under large water pressure brings both pain and exhilaration, eventually leading to sense of omnipotence and being in touch with the gods.
All was done well…except that this time the oracle was about Misao herself.

At 19 now, Misao had expected that her life will be short, like any other shrine maidens before her…but it that how it will end?

This “receiving an Oracle” could very well be what Saki was experiencing during her competition with the cousins, but to our knowledge she was never imparted with any pertinent information. On that long of a dive I’m not surprised she fulfilled some of the requirements, as she had tiny exhalations all the way down. It doesn’t seem like she got the full experience though. And as Checkov’s Gun states, don’t introduce a concept that won’t be featured again. Saki will eventually head back to the depths, either by herself or with her newfound buddies, and will return to a deep-sea wreck or cave and have the full Oracle experience, I’m sure of it. Let’s hope the cousins can keep up with her until then just in case something (as it usually does when these girls are involved) goes very much sideways.
