Added 2025-04-02 10:45:58 +0000 UTCI shot this little video in 8k, then edited it down to 4k using my Canon R5 with a 1.8 35mm lens. I wanted to test out color grading to see how close I could get to my Lightroom edits, since video color grading is different, and honestly slightly harder with the tools given. I think I got pretty close, using the opening image in the video as reference.
I will be releasing the images later once I finish editing.
Going to try more video in the future hopefully. My biggest issue right now with video is the focusing. The R5 loses focus easily, and I don’t have dedicated cine lenses yet.
