I also wanted to share a little peek at the messy side of making this bikini. I’ve uploaded the notes I scribbled during the design process most artists tend to skip this stage, but I think it’s so fun to show how everyone’s workflow is different.
Before these plans, I even had a few alternate sketches in mind! My process usually starts by pulling together fabrics I already have and seeing what looks best together. For this one, I loved the mix of textures the soft faux suede paired with that shiny, bright yellow lycra. It almost looked like thick crust to me… which gave me the idea to actually stuff it! 🧵✨
