I came and stayed for your content, talent and personality and neither a face reveal or something else will change or affect that in the slightest. If you want to extend the boundaries you once set and you're comfortable with all of what might come with doing that, it's fine. I just want you to be safe and happy. Being in this NSFW community for a while now that has mostly meant only seeing parts of a person's appearance and I was glad for that just because of the fact that it meant that they were treating carefully on slippery grounds. I do like the distance and upheld line that comes with being faceless, as it is less problematic. But that doesn't mean that I'm gonna judge or even change my view on a creators talent and output. I can totally understand that now you're more active on Twitch that you are inclined to give your audience a face to look at and connect to your work. Just don't feel pressured to do so. So, TL/DR: Show us whatever you are comfortable and feel safe with. No negative effect on my view on your content. Just be and stay safe. Because you know, people can be crazy idiots. 😉

Sometimes it’s nice to put a name to a face but that doesn’t always have to be the way. I wouldn’t leave if you never showed your face or if you did show. 2021-05-05 07:56:36 +0000 UTCi personally love all your content and have come to be very invested in your streams particularly. i strongly believe that you should do what makes you comfortable and what you want to do. if that’s doing a face reveal then that’s great, but if you’re still not comfortable that 500% understandable. you’ve been faceless up until now and it can definitely be a lot to show yourself. as great as it would be to the person who i have come to know these past few months i’ve gotten used to not putting a face to the voice (outside your profile images). that being said with or without a face reveal i still enjoy your content and actively look for it! very little, if anything, would change as far as my viewership of your content

I've become disinterested in objectively attractive creators because they didn't interact enough for me to know what they're like as a person. That said...! I have seen your posts and personality from the very start. Your personality and humor is the reason I checked out your work! I find you to be more and more lovely all the time. I've seen your kneecaps and they weren't covered in cheeto dust and your knuckles weren't dragging on the ground; A reveal would only be a positive at this point. So... TL;DR: "Not at all. I have a personal desire to maintain a certain level of distance from all the creators I enjoy (which is why I usually lurk), and there’s something about face reveals that get close to crossing a line for me. However, if you do choose to reveal your face, it won’t make me leave or start thinking differently of your work; at the end of the day, you need to do what’s best for you.

So I’d wager many are much more on guard than I am, keeping an eye out for possible threats to your privacy. Because doxxers always be doxxing and people here largely care about you as a human being. Just my two cents. Thought it worth mentioning that any relief you’d feel, might be shared in some way. (Then again it might be a moot point. Surely there will always be *something* to worry about. But as Reddit is no longer a platform I service, some passive reveals on Patreon and YouTube might be fun, and revealing for Twitch you can imagine would be that much more attractive.

Won't change my listenership either way. If you've played out the "what's the worst that could happen?" fully with yourself and maybe w/ ppl you trust, and nothing unsustainable comes up, then do whatever lets you sleep at night and doesn't steal your joy.

You as a person have a life beyond the audios which, right now, is all shadows. It doesn't affect the story audios at all. I think of it like the author page on a book the name gives form a picture substance.
