Instead of text posts with way too much info, let's switch it up with a photo with way too much info!
This graph isn't final, it's something I whipped up in a few days while only working on it when I had a free moment. I will be upping the resolution to 4k for future reports.
Though, images like these are what I plan to use to share information about progress from now on.
Future Dev Reports will likely only be the image with a few lines of text detailing any need to know information about the game.
This post will be rather lengthy due to me explaining exactly what everything means as well as talking about some dev things.
So let's start with detailing what this is.
This specific graphic is meant to inform you of a few things. Including how much work I've managed to accomplish in the week, a guesstimation of overall full update progress, the number of renders and animations finished for the full update, 3 partial teasers every week, dates for all upcoming side content, as well as hinting at what girls will have upcoming scenes.
Now with the general out of the way, let's break it down.
Days 32-38:
Self explanatory, this graphic is detailing the progress made for these days of the game. When Day 38 is finished the graphic progress will reset and we'll swap over to working on Days 39-45
Teasers:
3 partial renders that will be in the upcoming weekly update. New teasers every week.
Upcoming Content:
These are not renders that will appear in the game, these images are made and placed there to hint at which girls have upcoming scenes dedicated to them.
Please note that these scenes do not have to be lewd and they are not indicative of every upcoming scene. As scenes are finished, they'll be replaced by another girl with an upcoming scene.
These scenes will not always be present in the upcoming weekly updates and will sometimes take multiple weeks for any to change.
Weekly Progress:
General idea of how much work I was able to do during the week. Renders and animations are only a fraction of what it takes to make a VN but they're a good measurement of overall progress.
This week I was able to make 104 renders and 1 animation. This is on top of the work I did to replace some renders in the most recent chunk.
Total Progress:
The total amount of renders and animations in the "Full update" so far.
There are currently 3721 renders released for Days 32-38 with 500 more releasing in a few days. (Though this update isn't as sexy as this last one, it sets up a lot of future lewd moments.)
At the end of this month, there will be no backlog besides a 100-200 render buffer I intend to keep so I won't risk missing a release in the event that something would happen that would hinder me from working on the game for a few days.
Full Update Progress:
A guesstimation of how far along progress is in completing the in-game week.
This is not exact at all but it's a good general idea of how much is left for those that prefer to wait for the whole thing.
Day 32 will be the longest day in WVM in terms of render count. This is mainly due to the exhibition match as well as setting up a lot of future scenes.
Plans have the average WVM day in the 300-700 render range.
The rest of Days 32-38 get a bit odd with time, but 70% is a good general idea of how far along things are. Things are about to speed up some.
Side Content:
Self explanatory. This is just a little box where I'll be putting the dates of planned side content for the month / week.
This content is tier locked though some things are different than they would usually be due to recent events. Here are what tiers will have access to what side content this month.

Birthday Renders: Bench-Warmer+
DITLO Poll (Continuation of the one from months ago, will decide between Eden, Emiko, Jasmine, and Kimmy): Sixth-Man+

Yep, that about explains that.
Now to quickly go over a few other things.
Black boxes:
Yeah... came to my senses on this one. I replaced all renders that included this in the most recent chunk and I'm working on doing so for this upcoming chunk as well. No more black boxes and I will go back and replace prior renders that included it in the near future.
It was an easy solution to a problem that irked me for a long time and I got used to it in a weird way but I'm out of that.
Some have asked me why not just give the MC a face and the answer is simply that I don't personally like when games do that and I don't want that in my game.
I have been given a lot of suggestions on solutions and I'll be testing some of them out and I'll let you guys know what I decide on doing exactly.
Character redesigns:
Like the black boxes, Katie's redesign happened a while ago for me and I've had the time to get used to her new model so I can forget just how jarring these changes can be.
I had talked a long time ago about remodeling Katie due to rendering issues and I did... there's 3 other versions of that half time scene (Though all of them are in the training gym) that were made using the first altered version and it was made that many times because I wasn't happy with her model.
A lot of characters were made before I knew what the hell I was doing. Including Katie. I know the new model is pretty different and way more curvy and I know that's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm happy with her model now.
I know when a redesign happens there's a general fear of other girls changing but I'm going to put it out there that there will be no more redesigns. All characters will be fully locked in to what they are when the character sheets come out.
(Outside of slight tweaks to skin textures or things like that)
4t, Bea, and Granny:
First I'd like to share that 4t is not her "government" name. It's the nickname she goes by which the reasoning will be delved into in game in the future.
These three characters all have something in common.
"Where the hell did they come from and why does the MC know them?"
These characters are all introduced earlier on in the game in the month 1 rework.
I'm starting up work on the rework again and I plan to have a separate graphic for weekly progress on it.
I'll have more to share about the rework and how I plan to release it in the near future.
But for those that don't know, the month 1 rework is taking the first 9 days of the game and stretching them out to 31 days.
This will include all new renders and animations as well as a prologue. There will also be some story changes but nothing major. Just tweaks to things like Rachael being a longtime friend at the start of the game instead of just meeting her. Things like that.
All new content and all content from the start of Day 32 will not be changed and is final. The rework will flow straight into it.
Lots of girls:
It's no secret that WVM has a large cast and with a large cast comes large concerns.
I'd like to take a moment to explain my mindset on it.
Firstly WVM at its core is a game about the MC having a shit ton of girlfriends and optionally a shit ton of children.
To achieve that, there has to be a lot of girls.
But a lot of girls means there's not time for everyone.
So, let me real quick explain my breakdown on how I plan to divvy out that time.
So firstly, there are tiers of girls. From main girls to pure side girls.
Obviously Jamie (main girlfriend) and Shauna top the tiers.
Then there are the other main girls, most of them live with the MC. Girls like Elizabeth, Stacy, Jasmine, Zoe, Bailey, Rachael, Natalie.
Then a step below that would be girls at WVM that I'd still consider main girls. Like Ruby, Tia, Lauren, Penelope
Then we start hitting side girls, girls like the rainbow squad for Hearts for Hope.
Then we hit girls that are even more side, like Carmen the announcer.
Then we hit giga side girls like the crowd outside of the RV.
Now side girls can technically become main girls in the future but the focus is on the main girls now. WVM is going to be a very long game and there will be time for plenty of things but the focus needs to be on long time girls that haven't had their moment to shine yet. There's a lot of girls like Rainn and Carly who will have progress made soon.
So while there will be some scenes with side girls, the long fully fleshed out scenes will be with the main girls.
And as far as above side girls go, there's only 1 left to introduce and that's Daliah.

Dev reports will be every Saturday. Next week's will likely only be the image with like two sentences if need be.
I still plan on removing myself as much as I can from these, there will be no comments on anything outside of decisions and events in development.
This is only as long as it is as I felt I should explain a few things after these most recent releases.
With that said, I do want to say a quick thanks before I go to the background.
Thanks so much for all of the support everyone has been showing me. I still don't feel like I deserve it at all after the events of this past year but I'm as grateful as possible and things are continuing in the right direction.
It has been a real rough ride to get where we're at now but things have really been smoothing out and I feel a lot like my old self again. Getting these renders out that I've been working on for so long has felt amazing and I'm glad to finally be working on new things and I'm super excited for the future.
