It was that she was the future emperor of the Adrestian Empire but it was also her looks, her charisma, and her smarts. The leader of the Black Eagle House prided herself on her academic achievements as she saw them as a great measure of her potential as her country’s future leader. Which was why her latest exam result bothered her immensely. Sure it was a passing grade but just barely! How could that be? She knows she studied intensely for that exam and pulled an all-nighter! Surely there was some mistake. Professor Byleth disagreed with that last point. Her grading was fair and took the time to explain where Edelgard made her mistakes. Okay fine she could accept that but it didn’t change the fact that she had to rectify this abysmal grade! Surely there was something she could do as extra credit. “Anything?” Byleth asked for confirmation to which Edelgard nodded without hesitation. A naughty idea formulated in the professor’s mind. “Follow me than.” Edelgard followed her to the underground town beneath the monastery known as the Abyss. She knew of it but why did Byleth bring her down here? If she wanted Edelgard to do some community service for the extra credit, than this would be no sweat at all. If only it were that easy. Instead Byleth took out miniature stocks and rope from storage before leading her to the women’s quarters. The future emperor found her arms tied up and feet bare feet in stocks shortly after. Her task for thus: school was in session at the Abyss and there was a lecture held in the nearby room. Given that they were underground and the poor sound insulation, it’d be really embarrassing if a curious person saw Edelgard in such a predicament. The future emperor’s irises shrunk to the size of a pinprick. She knew what was coming. A teasing Byleth laid out the terms: if Edelgard could survive twenty minutes of tickling without alerting the residents of the Abyss, than she will have earned her extra credits. The mere thought of being tickled on her sensitive feet sent shivers up her spine. She was quite ticklish. She couldn’t back down though, not without getting that extra credit.
